I have been using WPS office for about 6 years and until the introduction of their AI spellchecker the product would be 5 star rated. The old spell checker in the 'Docs' part of the app was superb. It did exactly what it was meant to do, which lets face it, is simply to highlight mis-spellings and suggest corrections. The AI spell checker is now being pushed on us as an upgrade 'WPS AI' for which we have to pay more money. There are two problems with this.

AI spellchecker is rubbish - it is intrusive and insists on highlighting far more than just spelling, it is difficult to implement corrections.

The other problem is that the old spellchecker has been removed from the program so that we are effectively paying for a program that is less capable than the one we have been using for years.

With WPS hectoring us upgrade to WPS AI, we are being pushed and cajoled into paying more for a worse product than we were used to.

Because WPS is adversely affecting our office productivity we are looking at changing to another office software package.

Sadly it seems that WPS progress is backwards.

Terrible. Especially since they added trash ai software.

Now, WILL NOT UNINSTALL.

Trash trash trash. Wish I'd never put it on my computer. Crashes it. Barely works.

And now keeps trying to override word.

Changes file types.

And I'll say it again..

I've been using WPS for year, but now I switched to an alternative.
The whole platform works well, but I notice that it's running in the background, even though I stop the app in the background. And it keeps coming back as a launching app. Because of this, I'm very suspicious on how they manage the data, especially as they're developing an AI.

All the sleek usability of G-suite and all the functionality of MS Office, and yet better than both of them at everything.

I've recommended to a bunch of people who are looking for something that isn't overpriced and completely sucks (Looking at you MS) and yet still fully compatible with the files.

Only wish I found it sooner (And yes I paid for the premium as well now).

PDF editor works great! Would be nice to know after installing the application however that editing is a premium feature - it will gladly let you use the edit function, but then when you come to save, you're hit with the "subscribe to our ridiculously overpriced plan". So you end up losing your work. No thanks. Avoid.

they use some undocumented features to constantly change default apps, very annoying!!!

WPS Office is not safe, for security matters may your files and data will be compromised. You may think 10x why we have a Cyber security awareness. China got your identity and confidentiality and may your secrecy have compromised because of this apps. Be wise and may threat to National Security. This time Cyber War is existed!

Initially, I was satisfied with WPS Office. However, since the latest AI upgrade, the program crashes constantly, and the helpdesk doesn’t even bother to respond.

A software company that claims to be "Smarter, Faster, Easier, Free with Seamless MS Office Compatibility" should also have a reliable helpdesk.

The. Cost of the subscription was miss represented. It indicated R49. And instead to R1499. I have been struggling to get hold of the non existent customer care team no respond. I am battling to get my money back from them

I subscribed for six months, but they have also continued charging on my credit card a monthly fee. I wrote several times to the support system, but they say a few words, take weeks to answer and finally DO NOTHING.
They behave as SCAMMERS. Be very careful with these people.

your app is very slow, please allow all the device to manage and dont force us to download the application, you didn't see the ms office? it works efficient because there web app like google docx is accesible for all device

paid the 36 dollars for a year and it continued to blast AI ads.
while the more annoying ads stopped being blasted, the annoying "TRY AI features" Ad at the top would not go away. I never even got to use the application. had it less than 20 minutes. uninstalled it. cancelled the subscription and deleted my account with them. still out 36 dollars but I guess it's a lesson learned not to trust companies like this.

I Opted for the 1-month WPS Pro Subscription, but I was Charged for 2 Years. This Error has Put me in a difficult Financial Situation, as I Need the Funds for Rent, Food, and my Niece's School Fees. I am Currently Behind on All my expenses and Urgently Need this Issue Resolved. Please Respond Immediately and Process a Refund as Soon as Possible.

I used to love this program but now it's constantly interrupting everything you do to get you to upgrade, it constantly freezes and never stops spamming you. sadly i'm done with it

I did my job with it. The bad part is that they don't do refunds and it's not easy to reach them. Plus, you have to cancel the subscription from Google Play, then you have to make sure to search on Google "Cancel auto renew WPS Office" and cancel it from there too, otherwise, you'll be charged even if you canceled from Google Play, and you won't get your money back. It's a kind of legal scheme, unfortunately. Other than that, it's okay, but I prefer a less developed app that takes 100% care of customer service.

This Word Processor meets all my needs and expectations. Apart from its ease of usage it is constantly updated and shows the broadest possible range of features.
In my opinion it is fully on the leading edge of current technology in its field.

It's easy to adapt and use effortlessly. Thank You for developing these tools which are MUST have tools for everyone.

If WPS were a boxer, I'd describe it as punching well above it's weight. I like it's lightweight speed and it's no frills focus at getting the job done. Been a home office user for about 2 years.
