Nothing to complain about. It's been 40 days and I'm learning French quite fast. I'm interested in learning other languages through the same app after I'm confident in French so I hope they'll put mo... See more

Moroccan Arabic Course

The dialogue pages are riddled with errors that I had to send a long list of to customer support (twice). I followed up again to say that there was audio missing from examples, an entire vocabulary table missing content and that most of the recordings were obviously made on a laptop microphone; not the professional studio quality they advertise on the site. This renders the audio quite harsh on the ear and the pronunciation very hard to catch at times.
I asked that given this, could I make an exchange for a course of the same value. No, they said, but I could cancel it and buy another. I might as well have sent off an e-mail saying "let's get naked and play 'hide the postman!".

The course also claims to be in the Moroccan dialect, but a majority of it seems to be in standard Arabic; which is at least a redeeming factor for students of Arabic in general (especially considering they don't want to do anything to help improve the quality of the course or care about user experience).

Other than that the IT team were working on the dialogue errors 'which could take some time', there's been no effort or interest in addressing the others or offering anything to make up for the issues.

I still remember 90% of words after a year of not continuing (with some supplementary use of the target language but believe me, you won't speak much Greek in Greece...) The course itself is efficient enough, and the majority of A1/A2 words have real life use cases. English as a language of instruction is a poor choice for Greek because it's different culture and there are countless synonyms to decipher, but when I was buying, it was 3 times cheaper than Polish.

This is a malicious site. Please be careful.

I purchased the full German course, but I can only learn the words. The browser is blank and does not open for conversation, conversation style selection, lesson selection, etc. The same applies even if you change the browser or OS. Refunds are possible within 31 days. There is an invoice number entered on the refund site, but I have not received the invoice number. Also, even though I paid with a credit card, there is no credit card entry on the refund site. Therefore, we are unable to process a refund. I tried to contact you via email again, but I couldn't find your email address. I have received several emails, but unless they are for a reply, I cannot accept the replies. This is considered to be a type of fraudulent site.

17- minutes For Egyptian Arabic…

I have used 17- minutes to learn Egyptian Arabic (EA). Sadly the course is a translation from Standard Arabic (msa). They have not bothered to change the verb tables so you learn Arabic conjunctions rather than EA. The word training comes without an example sentence so you have to guess the meaning which in Arabic can be very specific. There is no note taking facility in the trainer. It keep track of your mistakes and forces repeats which is good except where the translation is wrong it keeps pushing the wrong words. In all I think the program might have merit if the bothered to change the whole program to EA and add features to improve studying.

Incorrect translation of even basic words

This is not a reliable learning source.

My husband is Polish, and although I know some very simple vocabulary and phrases, I wanted to expand my conversational skills quickly. This is exactly what the course promises, so I started the two day free trial.

On day one it became clear that this course is not to be trusted and is therefore a waste of time and money.

Basic words like husband and wife were translated incorrectly: husband was translated as mężczyzna (which actually means man) and wife was translated as kobieta (which actually means woman). There were other errors in translation and pronunciation as well.
