Stay away from Desert Valley Towing at all costs!

I unfortunately was involved in a crash on the I-15 Northbound last week on May 11th 2026, near Victorville CA, in my Mercedes Benz Sprinter van. I was towing another vehicle on my own Tow Dolly that I have owned since 1998. California Highway Patrol and an Ambulance showed up and helped me deal with any injuries I may have had. These parasites Desert Valley Towing a.k.a. 24Towit showed up with two Tow trucks and loaded up the two wrecked vehicles as well as the Tow Dolly which was still attached to my Sprinter van. Once the vehicles were secure inside their storage yard in Apple valley CA, they made me, a 70 years old disabled Terminally ill Man, sit outside in the 105 degrees desert heat on a cinder block for over 3 hours until closing time while I was trying to arrange a ride home to NV where I live. With great difficulty they allowed me to go back inside my wrecked van and retrieve some personal stuff under the Tow truck driver's watchful eye. I then told them that I would be back the next day with a rental car and pick up the rest of my stuff from the wreck. I returned the next day with my girlfriend and they refused to let her inside citing Insurance rules BS. So I struggled to carry my stuff back and forth from the wreck in the back of the yard all the way to the rental car parked outside on the street. The Tow truck guy sat inside one of the Tow truck cabins with the engine running and the Air conditioner running while he watched this old man struggling in the heat. He even had the nerve to ask me how long I was going to be at it because he had other things to do. They also told me that I could not get my Tow Dolly back without proof of ownership????? I've owned it for almost 28 years and it was still attached to my van at the time of the accident. Anyways I was able to contact the CHP officer from the accident and told him about the Tow yard not releasing my Tow Dolly. He then told them to release it. I was getting ready to go pick it up when the this towing company told me that I owed them $1340 which needs to be paid before they can release my Tow Dolly. Nope not going to happen! I told them they can keep the damn thing!!! These guys are crooks preying on the troubles of stranded or wrecked motorists in that area. Other local websites also give them poor reviews!!!!!! I don't recommend these guys to anybody! Call some other Tow Company but stay away from these people!!!! They are nothing but common thieves and very rude to deal with!!!!
