It's been over 2 months since I've…

It's been over 2 months since I've placed an order for items that were listed as in stock and still nothing to show for it. No response to multiple messages after a month. Finally got a response after filing a case with PayPal, and they said one item was not in stock so the other has been delayed as well. Will not be ordering from here again.

Edit: item did finally arrive after writing the review so bumped it up to 3 stars, but still two stars taken off for having wrong misleading stock numbers on site and no communication about anything for one month. Owner is a nice guy at least.

It is always sad to receive a 1-star review, but especially now when we feel we work out our hearts and give more than humanely possible to our customers due to the extremely increased load since the lockdown.
We were notified by via a Paypal case that you tried contacting us via Facebook, which we explained that we do not use for communication, only to advise customers about product news. There are too many ways of communication these days... (text messages, Messenger, WhatsApp, email, message via our website, Skype, Viber etc, we simply cannot check all of these constantly, so we use text, email, whatsapp mainly). Also, we've had a popup window on our website advising customer about the current situation and that there might be some delays due to Covid-19 and the fact that since the lockdown we receive about 10 times more phone calls, 4-5 times more inquiries and 3-4 times more orders than before and it's very difficult to cope with such a load. It seems as if the whole world turned to Astronomy due to the lockdown... At the time of your order both items were unavailable, although unfortunately our website was showing available stock. Since the lockdown we have experienced difficulties with keeping the stock info up to date due to the number of inquiries and the rapidly changing stock levels. We sent the Baader product as soon as we received it and we refunded the other item as per your request and at that point it seemed that you were happy with the situation. However I realised now that the packet still didn't arrive to you after a month. We've received lots of complaints from US and other international (and even UK) customers about huge delays with postal services due to the Covid-19 situation. The tracking info shows that it is slowly moving through the USPS network, so hopefully it'll be with you shortly.... Unfortunately we have no control over this and all we can ask is to be patient and wait for the goods to arrive. Thanks for your understanding. UPDATE: I've checked it and I can see now that your order was delivered a day later after you posted your 1-star review. (It seems we had to take the blame, at least partially for the slow USPS service...)

Great Service

First time I’ve used 365 Astronomy and it won’t be the last,I placed my order at 11am received numerous updates throughout the day then 9.30 the following morning my order arrived , postage was very reasonable , I thought I would take a few days but was pleasantly surprised, great service in these trying times

Great service

I ordered the wrong tripod and Zoltan was quick to rectify my mistake, an absolute pleasure to deal with, had a chat on the phone and he helped me out bigtime, can't beat having proper customer service just a phonecall away, deffo recommended

Hey!

Hey!
Bought an astronomy instrument from 365 Astronomy UK It was not in stock, so it took about a week before they got it home. And then my order was shipped, which then arrived in Sweden in three days. Simply brilliant, given Covid 19 and what this pandemic is causing in society. Recommends "365 Astronomy UK" if you are going to buy something and the company also has moderate prices for its products. A big thank you to Zoltan the owner of the company and so for your friendly professional treatment.

Disappointed

Bought a Berlebach tripod and when it got here in Australia had a graze on one of the legs that shows bare wood through the black finish, Contacted them about it and asked for pictures to see if box was damaged and it wasn't but they did line Berlebach up to send out some paint to touch it up but when you spend near $1000 Australian dollars posted for a brand new tripod you don't expect something that would be classed as a second then touch it up yourself, Will not be doing business again.......

We've sent a brand new tripod and even took time to add some extra packaging, but of course we cannot completely unpack every product and look at every aspect of it to try to find a fault before dispatch. No business would that. Most businesses would not even bother adding extra packaking, like we did.
It came out from the factory with that tiny fault; we contacted them in a timely manner and they provided a solution. Therefore I believe as a retailer we did our best.

What a saga..

What a saga... I ordered a 2" filter, that showed 6 in stock. Waited some time, nothing arrived. I emailed, then was told the filters had suddenly become very popular, and they'd run out. So I waited the best part of a month, saw my order process update to 'Sent' and a package arrived. However, it was not my filter, but a rather expensive planetary CMOS camera?? Being the honest sort I am, I contacted the 365Astronomy, who figured out who the camera should have been sent to. They got the guy's details, and passed them on to me, so I posted the camera to its rightful purchaser using first class next day recorded delivery. I was promised a refund on the postage. Despite emails to 365Astronomy, no reply has even been received to my request for a refund of the postage. My 2" filter did eventually arrive, but sorry - after this frustrating performance and ending up out of pocket correcting their mistakes through my own honesty, I certainly won't be coming back.

first of all thanks a lot for your honesty and help with sorting out this situation due to the incorrect delivery. This was one of the last things I was dealing with before I went away on holidays. At that time only I could do the refunds via Paypal, so it had to wait till my return and we did the refund of the postage (rounded it up) shortly after my return on 15 August. Now my colleague can also do refunds via Paypal, so delays will be less likely in a similar situation in the future.
