On Wednesday I deposited £200 and got a verification email. I had to send ID and proof of address which I did. Account was then verified. I deposited a further £800 throughout the day. The balance was £1404 when I got another email saying account was suspended.

I needed to provide a picture of the card back and front used for deposits. Also a copy of my bank statement. A selfie of me holding a picture of my username and a selfie of me holding id.

All provided.

A further email asking for a picture of me holding a bank statement that was used to fund the bank account used for 888.

20 pictures later and still waiting on account verified.

Subsequently I've had an email stating that I am no longer able to bet on sports.

All I want is my money back.

The live chat is just generic responses. They will tell you anything in order to not pay out.

My pictures are apparently blurry even tho there have been 20 taken on a Google xl phone with one of the best cameras on the market.

Scammers! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Registered my account with them, deposited £10. They then immediately suspended my account and demanded three documents to verify my identity, which I refused to give them. They will not give me access to my account and will not allow me to withdraw my funds. Robbing f'n p****s

Worst customer service of all the bookies

I was restricted from betting within a week without explanation even though I was just mocking about with my bets placing small amounts up to 5 dollars. Wasn’t expecting that from such a reputable company. Not worth the time. Very disappointed

I opened an account a while ago, however I didn't use it.
I decided to give it a go and deposited £10, immediately they suspended my account and required 3 documents to unlock it. To verify identity, they are using some 3rd party company where you can upload some of the documents, however, it is impossible to upload proof of address as there is no option for such document type. Despite this they are still insisting on it. I emailed it to them, just to receive an automated response.

I asked for a refund and closure of my account, but it was ignored.

Avoid this company.

I’m having a nightmare withdrawing £23. The withdrawal failed as they said the bank details were wrong. How could this be, they are just the same as those I used to deposit.
They want a pdf document of my bank statement which I couldn’t provide, all I had was a photo which they rejected as it is the wrong format.
They cut me off from online chat and returned me to the automated chat as they couldn’t help me to sort this out.
This has been going on for two weeks! Absolutely awful support, or lack of it. I’ve finally managed to send a pdf but I’m not confident I’ll ever see the money again.
Just wondering if this has happened to others and do they have a large amount of customers funds that they will never return?

The odds are terrible. The boosts are not even fit for purpose. The withdrawals go missing and the customer care team do not reply to your emails. Live chat is abysmal and will just cut you off. How they can think it's acceptable to treat customer like this in 2025 is anyone's guess.

Zero stars. Tragically bad. How can they still have a license? I sent 7 emails in the space of two weeks and not one reply. Hell will freeze over before I go near them again

I deposited money and they disabled my account, with no way of withdrawing it. Their support is non-existent as their phone number doesn’t work, they don’t reply to support emails, and the help centre in which the live chat would be is down indefinitely. I would not recommend ever using this site.

They VERIFIED my account on 20th December 2024 but when I placed a few bets and won they asked me to verify my address again.

I send them 4 different utility bills/statements which meet all their requirements but they still did not verify my account.

I thought 888 bet was a reputable betting site so I decided to make an account.
I put in around 500€+ without any issue.
I tried to withdraw 235€ back in December 2024 after winning a few bets and have yet to receive my money.

At first, I was told that I had to verify my account so I sent my ID and a bank statement. They told me that the documents weren't valid so I sent another ID, my driving license, another bank statement, a payslip. No response since.
Their "support chat" doesn't send me to an actual person and is totally useless and their support email address is hard to find, which again, is totally useless. I've sent 2 emails and haven't received any reply.

TOTAL SCAM. lost 235€ .

This gaming site withheld approximately €24,000 from me under questionable circumstances. When I attempted to withdraw my funds, I inquired about the processing time. In response, they asked if I had a gambling problem, to which I replied, “Not to my knowledge.” Shortly after, I received an email stating that my account had been closed due to suspected gambling issues. Since then, I have repeatedly requested the withdrawal of my funds, but they have ignored all my emails and have refused to return the money.

Have been trying to withdraw money from my verified account since early November. They won’t respond to emails and any chat takes over an hour while they transfer you along 10 different operators, finally ending with someone who says something will happen. But despite my having sent them wire transfer details that work for every other book, they cannot seem to get the withdrawal to work…. And will not send a copy of the wire confirmation for me to review.

Wanted to open an account and get verified before making any deposits or bets, I sent my ID (which they didn't even check), re sent it via chat and was asked to send "another ID" because they didn't liked it, I lost interest. Beware, I'm 99% sure this is the type of sportsbook that will ask for "source of funds", selfies, or any other useless document once a withdrawal it's requested.

Like others on here they too didn't bother to return my email queries either. What kind of way is that to run a betting company by ignoring customers??

It's hard enough to win you shouldn't have to sweat the payout.

An absolute shambolic laughing stock

As a loyal customer of more than 8 and a half years, 888 Sport all of a sudden prohibited me from placing further bets on sports after I had a short, good run. I am sure that if I had lost, then all would have continued as normal, fine and dandy. They are such bad losers. Like a child, throwing over the game board after losing

I would not recommend 888sports to anyone for there platform very hard to get a response from them and very slow to fix issues. I won a small amount on crazy balls game was not added to my balance, I had proof of screenshots but they didn't want to know about it. I was lucky it wasn't a huge amount cause I would have never got it. Thankfully I have deleted my account. There are far better platform out. Stay away guys.
