Very good service, delivered by courier same day we arrived home. Did test posted same day, got result back next day via e-mail. All sorted.

I want to first say that I do not think private companies should be profiting from this pandemic. We are facing a national crisis caused by a far right government “led” by an incompetent neo-fascist.

However, that being said I want to praise A1 Lab in the strongest possible terms. We visited the Arctic Circle between 27 Dec and 2 Jan probably the worst time for speedy turnaround. We both needed to get out of quarantine quickly and knew we were arriving back on a Sunday followed by a bank holiday. I communicated with Frank at A1 to make sure our two tests arrived home before we did. One did, but one went missing and the staff ensured a replacement was sent out Christmas Eve. As it happens it turned up later! We returned at 2pm Sunday and posted our tests by 2:30 in a PO priority post box. The PO however took TWO DAYS to collect and deliver the packages not the 24 hours they promised. I kept in constant communication with Frank who always responded rapidly often within minutes to reassure us they would do their best. As it happens once they were received the lab turned around our tests and sent us the certificate ….IN FOUR HOURS! You can’t fault that level of service. If only Post Office were that efficient or that our government had they level of professionalism and competence. Thank you Frank and Roy and all at A1 for their fantastic service. We are now FREE!

Excellent service!!

Initially missing a code needed to register test, emailed support and they did responded promptly and I could register my test.
However after sending my test in I did not get my results, emailed the company and go no reply. Money and time wasted.

22nd dec i sent the swab 23rd dec my package delivered, till 5 jan i dont get my results, upon email to them they sent me the result certificate, this is veey poor service and carelessness knowing people will be stuck at home in quarantine waiting for results

Test received next day after purchase, just before Christmas. I posted it on 2nd January and due to post not operating during holidays, I expected it to not arrive for a few days. Today, on the 5th, it arrived in the lab midday and was analysed later in the afternoon. Got my results confirmation very fast. All went well! If we have to take tests for any of my future travels, i would order from them again. Reasonable prices and great service!

Prompt response to emails and answered all my questions. I hope they're as quick with test results! So far so good.

Would avoid at any cost !
Have purchased Day 2 tests for my parents who were visiting for Christmas.
Have dispatched the tests on 27th of December . Results came back on 4th of January at 7 pm , exactly 30 minutes after my parents have landed back at home at the end of there 14 days here. That's good service hay ?
At the same time had day 2 and day 8 booked for my sister with another provider and received results on 25th and 30th of Dec which was next day after dispatching and Christmas at the same time.

I will avoid this guys at all costs !

Very satisfied! I have decided not to wait for Royal Mail to collect my sample to avoid any delays, so I have dropped the test myself as the 2nd option for delivery allows. I took the sample at 12, put the packaging to their Romford hatch around 3 pm and the results were available at 11 pm the same day. Very quick, very satisfied.

The service was excellent. All my email enquiries were answered within minutes and not just standard replies. Despite the Christmas post being limited my results arrived promptly. I highly recommend this company! Will use again.

Test was posted on 29th of December around 3pm, received results on 1st of January at 11am.

I’d say it’s ruined my NYE but I should plan my travelling around this charade of PCR testing.
I am fully vaccinated with a booster, was doing LFT for past 7 days and now had to wait for PCR results.

I won’t say I want to use them again, hoping this nonsence testing will be squashed before my next holidays.

Self isolation is totally unnecessary and gov uk should trust people more. We are using our common sense and this is just a waste of our life’s and money.

5* for a1 lab as they are doing their jobs very well and working hard to send our results asap. Thanks a1 lab. Great comms via email and phone. I wasn’t sure my test was activated but this was confirmed over the fone and email. Received results in 3 days.
