Fantastic service

Booked 8 seater transfer to and from Birmingham airport via email. Very responsive company happy to answer all queries. Driver arrived half hour early to drop us off but was happy to wait as we weren’t quite ready. Charged exactly what we were quoted. Flight was delayed on way back and also had a delay collecting luggage, driver called me several times for updates, advising he would be happy to wait. Ended up being 2 hours later then we’d booked (4.45 am Monday morning) and he only asked for £5 more than the quote which I thought was amazing so obviously gave him a good tip. Both drivers very friendly chatty and happy to help load and unload the luggage. Fantastic service 👍

Not a good service

Changed pick up time from 3am to 2.30am the night before,got a phone call from the driver at at 2.30 to say he had only just got new pick time and would be 15 minutes late, these things happen
The quote was £18.50,when we got to airport the driver asked me £29 when i questioned this the driver got shir
ty and told that was the price £29 not a good reliable services
The return price was £21.50 diffent driver.?

Got a taxi last night cost £14.60 got receipt to prove this yet they took £19 out my bank when i called operator she was rude and told me yes this is what we do after I questioned why are you taking more money out my bank than the amount absolutely disgusting. Then she threatened to block my number after saying i will dispute payment with my bank

Hi used a2b on and off ordered a car the night before for morning pick up 06.45 never arrived till 07.30 and was told it wasn't even booked this has happened again this morning when I rang I was told they had just put the call out terrible. Don't think I'll be using again. So I will be late for work again

Terrible unreliable taxi company.

Me and my wife booked a taxi with A2B to pick us up at 3:30 Sunday afternoon for a family get-together for my wife's birthday. As the car didn't show we called there office only to be told it wouldn't be with us for another 20 to 30 minutes. When he arrived the driver said he had only just come on duty and he had another pick up. We were quoted £11:50 the driver charged us £14:00! Then we booked the same company for the Monday evening to pick me and my wife to take us to a local restaurant as it was my wife's birthday on that date. The car was booked for 7:15 on the evening and again the car didn't arrive on time so again we called there office to be told they were very busy and not to expect the car for another 40 minutes, the 40 minutes passed by so again we called there office only to be told the car would be another 15 minutes and did we still want the car or did we won't to cancel. We decided to cancel and call a different company who arrived within 5 minutes. So if you are thinking of using A2B taxis then think again and look for a more reliable taxi firm, we did and have now deleted there number from our phones.

One star is too much use Uber

One star is too much, booked a taxi to take me to Birmingham airport from the nearby travel lodge 12 hours in advanced. Needed it for 3am and time critical as I need to catch a flight.

I’m waiting in the lobby watching the app to tell me when one has been assigned 2.45, 2.55. Not a sausage, 3am and still no joy so I call them up and after awhile waiting am told “he’s dropping off another client”. Ok fine, 10 more minutes no joy, call again and the line goes dead.

Should have just gone straight to Uber as with 10 mins of booking I’m finally on my way

AVOID - DRIVER BLATANTLY OVERCHARGING

Booked a taxi from Solihull with 2 drop offs via the App. The final fare came through as £33.60 but the driver, Shan Sufian (Estima Reg BC11 VKE) tried to charge my friend over £40 and took £40 off her for the fare (as that was all that she had on her). Total rip off and the driver blatantly overcharged for the journey, shocking service (he also turned his phone screen off when he dropped me off first so I couldn’t see how much the fare was after giving me an inflated estimate - which I told him was more than I usually pay).

Would give zero stars for this booking if the option was available 😡

It took 45 minutes and 3 chase calls to…

It took 45 minutes and 3 chase calls to get the promised taxi. 'It's on its way' holding excuse liberally used, which was frustrating.
At least the car was an appropriate saloon car this time. On previous occasions they sent the tiniest saloon car, which was a squeeze.
I have deleted A2B telephone number in my mobile phone, as I never want to use them again.

A2B taxi unfair charges

Booked a taxi from a hotel in Birmingham for a journey that should cost circa £19.00. The driver said that the fee would be £26.00. After ringing the main office they stated the estimate would be £19.00 to £20.00. However the driver already had £7.10 on the meter before I even left 😖. Really not worth the hassle!

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE

TRULY DREADFUL My wife rang A2Bs number on afternoon of Sunday 1st May. She was forced to book on IVR as seemingly not possible to speak to an operator (no agent option given.) Booking, name, home address and time of pick up was confirmed automatically by robot system. None the wiser until 04.50 on Monday 2nd May when no car turned up. Went back onto phone to A2B…by continually pressing 33333333 was diverted to an agent. First agent just dropped the call immediately (male) rang again…second agent (female) said you didn’t tell us where you were going. I pointed out that IVR doesn’t give that option. She said that it was ALL my fault that the taxi didn’t show up because I should have rung up and spoke to an agent - well thanks for telling me now it is too late (!) and how do you actually speak to a human at A2B anyway? I have just paid £40 to have a massage today to ease the stress you put me and my wife through yesterday. Have you any idea how it feels for someone to be potentially missing out on their flight and holiday because they can’t get to the airport? And…really, truly do you even care? If you did care, you would read all the one star reviews with the same problem that you have still failed to fix. We are extremely disappointed with A2B to say the least.

DISGUSTING SERVICE

I booked direct with the office the evening before for an early morning flight to Birmingham Airport. It didn't turn up!! When called them, said the booking was NOT on the system. No other company's available either. I could have missed flight. Had to wake a kind neighbour up at 4am in the morning to get there. I think this company have changed hands and no longer based locally. They can't deliver. DON'T USE THEM.

I booked a taxi to take my daughter the children's hospital, when paying it said £9 (payed online whilst sat in the taxi) while at the children's hospital later that day I noticed a charge of £29 had been taken for said taxi. I took this up with them 3 days later when I was home and after loads of phone calls I'm still waiting for said refund 8 months on. I'd never use them again the people on the phone have no manners either customer service zero!

Would have given zero stars if I could. Pre-booked a taxi and payment taken but it did not show up. I called the operator and after having to wait 5 minutes for call to be answered was told the pick up time booked was an estimate. They said they would try and get a car to me in next 10-15 minutes but couldn’t guarantee it. 15 minutes later no car and no sign of car being allocated on the app so I cancelled booking. We lost the reservation for our meal. Terrible service. They used to be reliable but no longer. Will never use again.

Absolute shocking company.
Booked a taxi to the airport for myself and my disabled son.
They didn’t turn up and after half an hour they cancelled the job.
Made us 1 hour late and really stressful.
DO NOT USE THEM.

Yet another flawed review system. I want to rate 0
Star but the system won’t allow. I booked carriage with flight details. The flight was delayed but the driver was not at the airport. When I called the company I was told what did you expect your flight was delayed….. and I was lucky to have a driver at all. After several calls where I was clearly told it was my problem and I should be grateful a car is coming I realised this company is like all the others! Liars.
