Ruined a very special evening

Ruined a very special evening! Pre ordered 4 days in advance. After 45 minutes waiting and several false promises, was forced to drive to the venue myself, which was not my original intention. Would not use them again!

Terrible service

I pre booked a taxi for 10 people atleast a month in advance 1 taxi turned up that fit 4 people I rang to be told it would be with me in 10 mins still did not turn up after waiting half an hour I rang again to be told the driver still had passengers (surely as I prebooked we should of been the priority) I then cancelled meanwhile the first taxi also stopped for fuel (should this not of been done prior to collection)
We then phoned for an uber to get one within 5 mins a minibus with A2B taxis on the side 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely DISGUSTING company. Drivers RUDE! Phone operators RUDE! Booked a taxi 3 days in advanced got quoted £35 for the journey. Booked it for 12.30 came at 1.30. Then driver wanted cash upfront which is no bother we all had our cash ready. To then be try and charged DOUBLE the price £60 he wanted. Rang the base they basically backed him up said it’s on a meter, we should have been told this information and not told a price in the first place. Absolutely appalling service! We was happy to pay slightly more £40-£45 because it was a Saturday night but to double it then not even guarantee it wasn’t gonna cost more was a joke. Worst taxi company I’ve ever experienced. Phone operated was so rude she needs a lesson in customer service! NEVER ever will I use these again. I would AVOID this company if you don’t want to be late to your destination and robbed!

Used A2B for 20 years

Used A2B for 20 years. Stopped using now. Unreliable, rude drivers. Booked on the app, said taxi on the way, then went back to waiting for despatch. Phoned them 25 minutes later and automated message said next car would be an hour. The app was still saying 5 minutes.

Unreliable, disappointing

Booked a taxi via the app for a 1pm pick up the following day. No taxi or update at 1pm so called and was told it would be another 10 minutes. As we needed a car for 6 with space fir a folded wheelchair thought ok, can live with that. After 20 minutes called again to be told as soon as a driver was available they’d be dispatched. I feel for the call handlers having to defend a bad business. Finally a car turned up 26 minutes late. Not the drivers fault, but updates would be helpful.
Jump to 3.30pm and I booked for a 4pm pick up. When it was 5 minutes late, tried to call twice but just rang out. I then got the option to track the car which told me 8 minutes. 10 minutes later, still no car and no update. The restaurant then tried calling and in the 2nd attempt was told it would be 45 minutes. In the end managed to call my nephew to pick up my disabled mother in law and my daughter to pick up the rest of the party.
Should have realised it would not be straight forward after being let down the previous Saturday when the car didn’t turn up!!
My whole family have used this company over the years, as my children grew up and started going out in the evening I knew they could be relied on. Never again. They’ve even had the cheek to message me about a Christmas draw. Im deleting the app and getting an Uber account. Have always recommended them to friends and family but no more.
I’m sorry, but the excuses about COVID and lack of drivers doesn’t cut it. If I’d been advised the could be a delay or there was a delay I’d have more respect for the company. Yes, they may have lost a booking but as it is they’ve now lost all my business.

Absolutely disgraceful horrendous terrible awful useless waste of space service. Same scenario as everyone else, pre booked, pre paid didn’t turn up. Stranded in Stratford vulnerable. Actually dangerous. Will never use again. Should be illegal. Bad humans run this company.

Avoid! absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace I pre booked and prepaid for a taxi for the airport. I called A2B when they were 5 minutes late and the automated message said the driver would be here in 17 minutes. I called 10 minutes later to check progress it still said 17 minutes. I spoke to the driver who very rudely said he wasn’t coming he was on the motorway and I’d have to rebook! I said we had a plane to catch he clearly didn’t care. I had to desperately call around to find someone else and managed to get one from Allen’s that fortunately got us to the airport in just enough time to catch the flight. A very stressful start to the holiday. Not only did they not inform me that they weren't coming they made me believe they were! Ridiculous

Dreadful customer experience

I booked a car in advance for a time-sensitive appointment. The car turned up 25 minutes late. There was no explanation or apology and the company made no attempt to contact me. It's impossible to get to anyone on the phone there, you just get a bot. Dreadful in almost every way.

Never again

Unreliable and not trustworthy

From what was a reliable taxi service to one which no longer can be trusted. Either no shows, late and you get a load of excuses about the taxi being at the location, when clearly it’s not. Taxis booked for airports 24 hours in advance did not show up. Uber have a new customer and the A2B app is deleted!

Appalling taxi company

Appalling taxi company, nearly an hour wait because none of the drivers would come to a vets, im appalled at the drivers of this company , most of them need sacking , a 1.5 mile journey costing £5.50 , rip off company with some of the worst drivers ever, solihull needs a better taxi service as this one is appalling

Peak time RIP OFF

A journey of 4 miles a month ago cost £7.80, that same journey just cost me £11...
We're talking about an increase of nearly 40%!? What are they playing at?
Always stuck with A2B out of loyalty but I'll be using Uber as of now.

Terrible service, taxi's do not turn up!!!

A2B used to be our go to taxi company. Not any more! Service has been steadily declining, to the point where it is nigh on impossible to get a taxi! Last straw tonight. Pre booked a taxi 6 hours in advance today, for it not to turn up, meaning that one of us had to drive to our dinner date to avoid losing our table booking. Will never use A2B again!
