Tarnished

I hadn't realised until today that I had 2 year warranty on my white heart, gold plated huggy earrings.
They have been tarnishing for months now but when I reached out with pictures of my ruined earrings I was told I out of warranty by less than a month (bought June 24).
How on earth they can currently offer a 5 year warranty is beyond me as mine started tarnishing after just 12 months. Awful product for the price, I have much cheaper earrings that I have had for years with no issues whatsoever.

I have been wearing and using Abbott…

I have been wearing and using Abbott Lyon pieces for years, they’re all so durable and lasting. They’ve never tarnished. I wear my pieces almost daily and I can never get enough of them! Especially their watches and their necklaces!

Great customer service!

Great customer service!! My heart huggie earrings lost one of the hearts and I received a credit note for a new pair within 24 hours!! Even the bot was lovely 💪🏻🤣
I have other pieces of jewellery from AL and have never had a problem 💚

The jewellery is well made good quality and selection of different styles I have purchased 3 pairs of earrings and two band rings so far . The delivery is prompt and everything is well packaged.The prices are reasonable also IV been happy with all my purchases so that's good

Beautiful jewellery

I have purchased several pieces of jewellery from here now I almost have all the heart earring collection! They don’t tarnish in water or wear, mine is still good as new, I have purchased items as gifts also as they are just so beautiful.

The experience has been amazing

The experience has been amazing and everyone has been lovely. I ordered my daughter a memorial necklace as I have terminal cancer. After filling in a questionnaire a lovely lady contacted me and offered me a painting experience and a cream tea. It has been amazing to have those memories and I cant thank everyone enough gor their care ❤️

The Abbott Lyon website is so easy to use. I purchased three items and delivery was super quick. Items were all packaged beautifully and I’ve not taken off my jewellery since! I would recommend Abbott Lyon and give 5 stars based on service, pricing of products and quality of jewellery. I will be purchasing again.

3 month delivery!?!?

Not sure whats happened with this company but its some downhill!

Early May I ordered 2 bracelets for my friend's joint 40th. 2 weeks later they hadn't arrived so I checked the order - 9th AUGUST delivery date!?! Ive ordered one of these bracelets before (chain with a letter charm and a birthstone charm) and it took a week to arrive, great. Why now is it taking 3 months to get a bracelet delivered? What takes 3 months? I could walk to your manufacturer in China and make it myself during that time! The only time ive seen a 3 month delivery time in my life was for a new car, new cars can be made quicker than you can put a bracelet together. Its ridiculous. I messaged customer services and asked why its now taking so like and all they could say was they have improved their quality checks. What so it takes an extra 11 weeks to check the bracelet looks ok? Ridiculous service.

Im annoyed because at the end of May we had a joint weekend away for these 2 friends 40th and we all chipped in for the bracelets and had turn up empty handed.

Also before this I ordered 2 gold birthstone rings for me and my friend and within 2 months they have both started to turn cooper and green. Binned.

I wont be buying from here again.

AL1639713 Bought a necklace with 2…

AL1639713 I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the jewellery and the way Abbot Lyon has handled my complaint.

The necklace and charm, which were bought as a special gift for my mum, have tarnished despite being properly cared for. For a company that markets itself as selling premium jewellery, this level of quality is simply unacceptable.

What has made the experience even worse is the customer service. Rather than taking responsibility, they have repeatedly hidden behind their warranty policy, claiming the 5-year warranty only applies to purchases made after a certain date. However, their website clearly advertises a 5-year warranty, and it appears the qualifying purchase date has changed over time. This is confusing at best and, in my opinion, misleading.

To make matters worse, after reading numerous Trustpilot reviews, it appears the company has chosen to replace tarnished items for some customers while refusing others in almost identical circumstances. This gives the impression that they are selective in how they apply their policies rather than treating customers fairly and consistently.

The responses I received from customer service were dismissive, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving the issue. Instead of standing behind the quality of their products, they simply refused to help.

I would not recommend Abbot Lyon based on my experience. Poor product quality, inconsistent treatment of customers, and disappointing customer service have left me extremely upset and with no confidence in the company.

We updated our warranty to five years for all orders placed from 19th August 2025 onwards, and we appreciate that seeing this on our website may have given the impression that it applies to all purchases. However, as your order was placed before this date, it falls under our previous warranty terms, which provided two years of cover from the date of purchase.
