Had several issues with this company, including long waiting times for call backs, and multiple delays and errors in arranging collection of a hire vehicle, which dragged on days longer than it should have. Due to the issues I requested a call back from a manager to discuss the issues on multiple occasions which never happened. I would not recommend to, or personally use this company again.
Excellent service all round from initial contact to final collection of loan vehicle. Curtious and knowledgeable staff, timely updates and efficient payments. I would truly recommend ax-uk to anyone experiencing the misfortune of being in a no fault vehicle collision.
The hire car was brought to me from London! Why could I not have had a hire car from the body shop? which would have meant one driver delivering and collecting from the same address and the proceedure reversed when my car had been repaired?
If you are trying to be ' green' by offering electric cars perhaps this excessive mileage could be reviewied.
Staff were ok but on arrival in Norfolk the driver was quite unbelieving to find we have no mobile phone signal in this village. Those collecting on behalf of Eurpecar had paperwork which did not correspond to the details of the car they were collecting.

For a start every email I got said “Thank you for choosing AX”. I didn’t choose AX, I was told they were dealing with my claim by my insurance company. On several occasions when I phoned AX I was told someone would phone me back and they never did, I had to keep phoning back and answering the same security questions, sometimes three times in the same phone call. I finally got a date for the repairs at SL Restorations and was told someone would meet me there at 8 am with a replacement vehicle. Two weeks before the date I got an email from a different body shop in Tunbridge Wells telling me they were doing the repairs and I should send them photos which I reluctantly did. When I queried with AX why it had been changed to a different company they said I had requested it which I hadn’t. I was furious. Eventually after more phone calls they agreed the car could go to SL Restorations. Two days before the repair date I got a call saying the replacement car would be delivered to my home address. I said no you agreed to take it to the body shop. They said we can’t do that we can’t get it there by 8am. I said so why did you agree to that in the first place. They couldn’t answer that and said they couldn’t deliver until 10am so I had to get a bus home from the body shop. The day before the repair I had an email with a questionnaire asking me for all the details of the accident which I had already filled in weeks before. I didn’t want to fill it in but I was so desperate to get my car fixed that I didnt want anything else to go wrong so I gave them all the details again. Not happy!

This was my first experience in a car accident so was initially very stressed and unsure of what to do. AX was amazing at reassuring and assisting me with everything from collecting my car for repairs and providing a hire vehicle and keeping me informed every step of the way and following through with everything. Everyone I dealt with was lovely and made my experience as stress free as possible.
