Baskins Ace Hardware on Cape Cod has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my 71 years on this earth. The people who own that place ought to be ashamed of themselves, used to be a great store when the owner Bill was alive who I knew personally.

The Oakdale strore has a fabulous selection if you are willing to pay their prices and only one cashier was working

Loyal customer placed online order of 4 items for delivery. Paid 35 for same day delivery otherwise it is 25 dollars. It is now the next day and order still did not arrive. Contacted Jose as well as Wendy at Ace customer service asking foe my 10 dollars back because the items did not arrive same day when ordered by noon. They refused. ACE took money from me they didn't earn and it looks like false advertising to me to charge extra for same day and not deliver or refund. I can place my loyalty and money at alot of other places , see ya Ace you didn't Ace it at all.

My Ace Hardware stores in 59711 Anaconda, MT and 59701, Butte, MT are awesome. I don't have to search for things if I don't have the time. They are ready to help. Sometimes the store doesn't carry in stock what they carry online that I disagree with but I was just helped this week and found Westek White Battery Powered LED Puck Light 3 pk which was PERFECT for my closet. I explained what I needed and he didn't just point me in the direction of led lights. These were magnetic instead of stick on and they are strong enough to hang from one of the metal bars in my closet. Plus there's a remote. That is only one of the many ways they have helped me. Oh one employee with suggest alternatives that I might not have thought of when I am trying to do a project as well, often saving me a coule dollars.

The ACE Hardware store deliberately places an offer for goods that are not actually available for sale. This deal is placed to attract customers who will buy something else in addition to this product. Then the sale of the offer is unilaterally cancelled by the store. My online order # 54457153-54457463 was cancelled without apology or compensation. Before that, I went to the store twice after receiving a letter that the goods were in stock. The store is quite far from me. And there they told me that such goods were not available. This is a deliberate action of the store, which deceives customers. I think that such stores are not needed at all. Large retail chains like Home Depot or Lowe's are enough. The range of goods there is sufficient. And they act honestly with customers. ACE Hardware stores should soon disappear with such an attitude to business and customers. I will never buy anything from ACE Hardware again and I recommend everyone else not to do business with them.

I have to say I go to the Bethel and Fairfield CT location. I may have visited 50 times and EVERY time I go the customer service experience is what keeps me going back!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I used my Mastercard to order a grill on AceHardware.com. I'd be getting $100 back through Rakuten as a cyber Mon deal. Ace sent an order confirmation email, and I made arrangements to have someone home to receive the delivery on the scheduled date. Ace never contacted me and just cancelled my order. I only found out when I saw on my credit card statement that the transaction amount was credited back to my account. The first Ace rep told me it was my credit card company, but I confirmed with them there was nothing wrong with the card. They even indicated they sent Ace a push notification that the payment was approved. Over several days I spoke with 4 people and waited on hold for several minutes each time for a supervisor but they indicated each time no one was available. One of the reps told me there was only 1 supervisor working that day! A national company only has 1 supervisor working? Then they said they'd had issues with their security feature that approves payments and that I should just re-order and use paypal! I explained I'd lose the approx $100 cashback. I was told only a supervisor could address that. Another rep told me the Supervisor couldn't take my call but he relayed to him what happened and the Supervisor said to tell me there wasn't anything he could do. I finally received a voicemail from a supervisor who said he wasn't sure why I was calling since he looked at the order and saw that my credit card was credited the purchase price! Of course when I tried to call back I could not get a supervisor.
I finally got a second order to go through and scheduled the delivery. When there was no confirmation from Ace on that, I called again and was told the person who schedules deliveries was out sick so my delivery would occur maybe the next day but no more than 2 days later. I will never purchase another thing from Ace. Their complete lack of customer service and disorganization is appalling.

I've called the Washtenaw store in Ann Arbor for 5 days in a row, trying to get an order delivered to my son for Christmas. I don't know how they stay in business.

Deranged homophobic bullying. Corporate responsive but management ultimately apathetic. Childish and bigoted.

This place is a complete joke. I ordered a grill online. Select Saturday delivery and they call me and say the grill they have for me is broken and they need to credit me and then charge me for a different grill and that they don't deliver on Saturdays. I asked for morning delivery and they say okay and then in the morning they don't show up and I call and they try to tell me they won't be there till the afternoon. Then I asked to speak to someone else and they hung up on me five times. Now I have over $1,000 of charges on my credit card with no grill and no credits. Thanks, Ace hardware?!

So the Manager called me and apologized for the situation and offered to send me $100 gift card. Just like my grill I never received it, lol. Just comical at this point!!

I never have to search for anything. Their employees graciously always offer to help me. I have always found their staff is customer service oriented. They greet you, are courteous, they know their stock.and present themselves in a manner which keeps me returning .

Paid $38 for express shipping which was suppose to arrive Tuesday. They didn’t bother to ship till 2 days after I ordered.. they shipped it the day it was suppose to arrive. Needed the item before the hurricane hits and now it’s too late. Don’t waste your money on this site.

I went to the Ace Hardware on W Grant road this morning, and arrived early. They did not open till 8am., so I went to get breakfast while waiting for them to open. I came back and at 8:00am I got out of my car and walked up to the door, but they were not open yet, so I hung around for a few minutes then I knocked on the door and someone inside knocked back, but did not open the door. I left and went to another Ace, because they are many in Tucson. I will never spend another dime in the Ace at 1899 W Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745. I called ask to speak to the manager to find out why I was treated so badly, and I spoke with some guy named Gary, I explained that I was at store and at 8:02 I knocked on the door and a smart axx knocked back. He told me he knocked on the door but it was not a knock back and that the store opened at 7:59 and when I said, no you were not open at 7:59, he hung up on me. Wow this store really don't want people to spend money there. I will gladly grant them that wish.

Carter's Ace Hardware for years. The people are always knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. They have a nice selection of merchandise for home maintenance and repairs. They even have cleaning supplies and more!

I was there yesterday trying to find a product on my own and an Ace employee, Mike noticed that I might need help and came over and instantly found the product I was looking for. He was professional and friendly. The customer service here is always top notch!

It's wonderful that we have this hometown run businesses in our community and I enjoy shopping there.

I bought two motor vehicle transponder keys online ( the least expensive place to find these keys). I brought the keys over to a local Ace Hardware in South Florida where I live. The manager told me the keys must be bought at Ace to cut them. Out of curiosity I asked the manager," how much$". The price is $100 per key ($99.99), he told me after taking 2 minutes to check his computer..
I walked out laughing, went to the local lock smith who cut two keys for $4. Then it was a simple programing procedure that I searched on the Internet, putting in the year, make, and model of the car to learn the programming procedure. It was a simple DIY project that saved me $196.

Ace did a deal online for the Milwaukee M18 cordless vacuum. Buy the vacuum and get a free 5 amp hour battery. I placed the order on September 16th. They canceled my order on September 23rd with no explanation of why. Called Ace they told me the batteries are out of stock. They are still advertising the deal 5 days later.
