Don't bother!

Don't bother, you're wasting your time and money.

For those that don't know. This is the new name for Millets sports which is part of the Sports Direct group. They nearly always advertise products as on sale or with a percentage off but in reality the full price is massively inflated.
I recently tried to purchase an item from their online store which was advertising 10% off the entire store. When I clicked the item, a banner appeared stating an extra 15% off was available. When I tried to check out only the the 10% code would work and when I contacted their customer services team pointing out that I couldn't get the codes to work I was told their T&C's state that only one code can be used on sale items. In my view this is mis-selling by false advertising as they are drawing people in with offers that aren't actually available. They seemed to think that I was trying it on by asking for both codes to work together but Millets had the same item listed at the same price with a 20% off working code at the same time and they are trying to promote this new site!?
Also there doesn't appear to be a customer contact phone number only email or social media so you're at their mercy if you have a problem and their attitude stinks.

AKA MILLETS,,,,“Real Animal Fur” in their Fake fur…

“Real Animal Fur” in their Fake fur Millets are unethical and dishonest.

Around the middle of March I was caught in North wales during the really cold weather. I Went to Millets in Porthmadog and purchased a coat that seemed decent enough, certainly kept me warm. The brand was Millets own Peter Storm. Upon enquiring I was told the coat had a fake fur trim and there was nothing to the contrary stated on the labels.
As mentioned I was happy with the coat and it kept me warm- in fact the fur was a little too warm. Fearing it was animal fur I took a closer look when I got home a number of days later and sure enough the ends of the hair/fiber were tapered and pointed as a hair would be and not cylindrical with a blunt end as a man-made fiber should be.
I noted the coat was made in china and their animal rights are not known to be wonderful and to be honest I was starting to get concerned so I contacted Millets for confirmation regarding the fur asking if it was real or indeed fake. I sent images of the coat clearly showing the fur trimmed hood so they knew which item I was discussing. After what I deemed to be an acceptable period of time with no reply I sought other methods of making contact with Millets other than email. I found their Facebook page and made contact via the messenger service and I was provided with a telephone number which I called. The person I spoke to assured me they were looking into this for me and would respond when they had an answer. I waited yet again before contacting them to receive a flippant reply about waiting on a response.
Since 20 March there have been over 16 points of contact and still no answer which leaves me with no other conclusion to make than Millets use real animal fur in their products and misleading customers. Maybe Millets need to remember their business is built upon customer loyalty.

Horrendous.

Horrendous.
Ordered on a Monday. Then received an email the following Monday saying order had been dispatched before being emailing them the Friday (12 days later) asking where order was, due to the fact it was 3-5 days delivery. It was only at this point they said it was out of stock and offered a refund.

Great Products & Fast Delivery

Ordered some Merrell boots and I couldn't be happier with them! They were delivered earlier than expected and gave me time to try them on before my big walk! Would definitely recommend and will be buying again soon.

I have no idea why people give this company bad reviews! I bought some Goretex walking boots 10 months ago and they started leaking water in, bearing in mind Activinstinct were trading as Millets Sports then, I thought the returns process would be difficult if not impossible but from 1 email they send a free returns package label, I posted on Friday and within 10 days I had a full refund! Many thanks team especially Liam.
I have just ordered another pair of boots and look forward to receiving the same great service.

Unhelpful customer service. Bought some shoes from Millet Sports and send back for an exchange 1 day outside of the returns period and was completely dismissed.

Placed order on Amazon for tennis …

Placed order on Amazon for tennis racquet advertised at a great price. They are a SCAM and didn't honor their price or follow through and send the racquet even when I offered to wait or take another grip size. I found similar situations in reading other reviews... These guys are not reliable, trustworthy business for anyone to deal with.

Ordered 8 pairs of boxing boots because great prices, all for boys in boxing club in Australia, ordered in February they did not arrive, every time I email them they say they are looking into it. Same thing for 4 month now, over $800 gone, I have phoned them and they answered they say they that they don't take phone calls. I rang head office and they assured me that they will get back to me, but nothing.
I would avoid this company and stick to local suppliers, pay a little extra and get looked after. I hate doing a bad review, this is my first, they gave me no option.

I ordered a hydration pack

I ordered a hydration pack, such a good price, however I too got worried after hearing the review, but all was good, came well within time and exactly what I ordered. Only worry I had was when there was no email conformation either. Probably my only gripe would be the hefty postage and packaging fee, but again I was over the the amount to qualify for free P&P anyway!

Why all the bad reviews?

So I ordered a pair of adidas shorts from activ instinct because they were sold out on asos and it was the only site that had them listed. I bought it BEFORE I read all of these reviews and then read these and was like oh... crap. Well I waited a week or two and then reported it to my card company as a fraudulent charge, but then like three days later I got the shorts (and had to call my card company back, etc). They were exactly what I ordered, in a semi-timely manner considering they shipped from Sweden to the US in three weeks - I'm okay with that. So basically, I personally feel like these reviews are impatient people who don't realize that customs clearance takes time, because without this site's reviews my order would have gone perfectly and I'd never have worried at all. Thanks activ instinct! I would order again.

Look elsewhere.

Long story short, token responses from customer service. Terrible follow up service. Do not risk purchasing.

The more detailed story.

I ordered a pair of boxing shoes 6 weeks in advance of my fight. Ordered without hassle and received a delivery tracking link. Fine.

Noticed after about 10 days that my shoes had not moved for the previous few days. I am based in Australia so I gave some lee-way. Another 5 or so days and nothing.

I emailed their customer service who informed me that my shoes were sent to the wrong depot and were being transferred and will arrive in the next 5-7 business days. Delivery fee refunded.

I contact them after 7 business days as the tracking line tells me the shoes have not moved. They inform me that the shoes have been lost in transit. Refund offered or ask me for another pair to be sent with a 10% discount.

It is obvious these guys do not care. Every response provided has been token. Their logistics department needs a complete overhaul.

I should have looked at their reviews beforehand - my experience seems to be common place. Look elsewhere. Do not risk these guys.

This is a company of thieves and fraudsters. AVOID!!!!

Placed order on 24th July. Now 16th Aug, still no delivery. Got order confirmation on the day, and they took my money. No dispatch confirmation, no tracking code either. I can still login and see my account, and my order. I click to the “contact us” page to ask what’s going on. And the page is NOT FOUND. Try it yourself on their site, which is STILL TAKING ORDERS for f#$&% sake!
So next I tried emailing the customer service email address which was in my confirmation email. But that simply bounced back to me. Also the enquiries email which I found on this review site. Also bounced.
To me this site is simply fraudulant. They are taking orders and payments with no intention of delivering. Why else would they shut down all contact channels. I have resorted to contacting their corporate parent JD Sports Fashion PLC in the UK. Not optimistic of a good outcome. Will be attempting to process a refund via my bank.

Used to be Good - Now woefull

I am in Perth Australia, and up until this current order have had no issues.

Ordered a Prince Tennis racquet on the 25th May 2016, site said in stock, I thought it unusual when I didn't get the usual email confirming the order, but my Credit Card was charged on this date.

Normally I get the goods within 4 to 5 days, to date haven't received and was advised out of stock, which seems to be a common occurrence nowadays.

Circa to now, and after close to a dozen emails to Milletsports, who must run Activeinstinct, I have not received my refund, and have been told by Sean of Milletsports at least four times that refund will be processed in 3 to 5 working days.

I've gone to my Bank to get the refund sorted as these clowns don't seem capable of doing this.

I'm a member at a large Tennis club, and have previously promoted Activeinstinct to other members, I will be advising them NOT to purchase any goods with Activeinstinct or Milletsports.

You have lost a repeat client over this shameful treatment!

ni communication and validity of order !

I am from Sydney Australia and I ordered some Merrell woman's boots online on 5th June 2016 and got only an online order confo no with no details. I can see in my loggin that there is an order but can't open it to see details and the amount is around twice as much as I paid. I'm going travelling in 3 weeks and need the boots, in wanting to know the status or get a refund but knowone is replying to my emails.
I hope someone from active instinct reads this and responds ?????

Good outcome

Like some others, I was dismayed to see the price of my shoes on the order detail was roughly twice the advertised price and ActivInstinct didn't reply to my emails, even when directed to the elusive (and possibly fictional) Josh. However, the price I actually paid was correct and the shoes arrived this morning, just 6 days after I placed the order. My conclusion: good prices, good service but lousy communication and a buggy website ! I'd use them again.

Terrible company, BEWARE

Absolutely no communication. Waiting for refund on a return I made over a month ago. There has been nothing from Activinstinct regarding receipt of returned items or processing my refund. I have emailed customer service and used their online contact form multiple times on each. Got nothing back, still waiting for my refund. Be very careful with this company, they are sketchy and will not process returns or refund you!!
