Just changed to Alinta
Just changed to Alinta. I was promised 4c feed in tariff for my solar. Welcome pack arrived no mention of solar. On making enquiries I am told its 2c feed in tariff. This was deliberately done to get me to change suppliers. I wont be with you for long Alinta

No Solar Rebate and No Customer Service
I have been with Alinta and attempting now for months to get resolution to the fact I'm exporting many kWh of power to the grid and they are not providing any rebate. When I have attempted to resolve they have told me I need to possibly pay for someone to check my meter, even though I have a new modern battery and solar solution and my previous supplier had no issue. After follow up I was told there is no issue and all is resolved but still no recognition of my bill or any written correspondence. They keep telling me to call them. Beware of a company that will not put anything in writing as it a clear policy as the obdudsman will always ask for written emails, dates, time and what you have done to attempt resolution.

While the process of transferring energy to Alinta takes a while (primarily due to privacy compliance), your operator was pleasant to deal with and patient. He had a good understanding of the process and the systems, making signing up seamless.
