The cake I ordered had nothing to do with was delivered.
I’ve got two kids now teenagers and ordered amazing cakes of the internet and they delivered what they promised.
This wasn’t the case!!
The photo on the website had amazing macarons on top with popcorn and the perspective made it look as tall and elegant….
The cake that arrived…. A mushroom of a cake just few pieces of popcorn at the top and no macarons!!! Really disappointing when you are trying to impress your daughter with what it was supposed to be a beautiful cake.

Ouch! With respect, this review is so surprising and bizarre. You ordered our Japanese Matcha Sakura cake which comes decorated with premium matcha Swiss meringue buttercream, French macarons and candied pink popcorn. You also clearly wrote in your order notes the following - “Allergic to nuts”. It’s an odd choice of cake for someone allergic to nuts considering we have ingredients and allergens listed very clearly on the product pages. French macarons are made of almonds, which is a very common type of nut. In order to accomodate your notes which you had not discussed with us prior to placing your order (which most people serious about allergies do and to whom we recommend other cakes to avoid nuts) we omitted the nut containing decorations ie the macarons, and replaced with more of the other non nut containing decorations ie the candied pink popcorn. This is purely in an effort to avoid knowingly poisoning anyone even if they ordered stupidly as we take allergies seriously.
I guess it’s “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” eh?

The cake decoration was beautiful but…
The cake decoration was beautiful but unfortunately the cake was hard, it tasted stale and more like sour dough bread. I couldn’t give the cake to my guests and most of it went to waste.
I support small businesses and this is the third time I’ve ordered from this business just because of the cake decoration. For the £233 I paid for the cake, I expected better but the taste and texture was not even on par with the cheapest supermarket cake.
Needless to say I will not be ordering from this business again.

Delicious Decadent Doughnuts
These doughnuts are absolutely amazing. I had the pistachio and rose and the gianjuda chocolate varieties. They are so pillowy soft and packed with such amazing filings. The taste is therefore incredible and honestly they are so moreish. Worth every penny and Anges De Sucre deliveries are always on time and the bakes arrive in god condition with their lovely friendly drivers

My first time ordering from Anges de Sucre. Absolutely LOVED this cake. The whole process was easy, it was a joy dealing with Reshmi. Her cakes are amazing, the flavour was spot on and it looked so beautiful.
If you want a cake for a special occasion, then this has to be the place you go.

Cake very salty!
I had a cake made by them for a birthday which was horrible it tasted salty when it was not sold as one I appreciate recipes will include salt but not to the degree it is the most powerful taste so rather than look at your recipe you tell me you can’t please everyone. How many people buy a cake expecting it to be salty??!! It’s different for example if it was a salted caramel cake this was their funfetti cake. Very disappointing I would not use them again and the cake was thrown away!
Following the reply I stick to what I have said the cake was salty and was not sold as such e.g salted caramel cake it should not have had such a high concentration of salt.
Absolutely will not try your cakes again!

Hiya Sarah, thanks for your feedback. Following your WhatsApp messages and email, as well as your Google review, I will reiterate that we are sorry to hear the experience didn’t measure up to your expectations.
As already mentioned earlier through WhatsApp and email and in response to your Google review as well, we reviewed the details of your order and our Funfetti recipe specifically. We do not add any flavouring that would include a salty taste. Like virtually all cakes and buttercreams, we too add a small measured amount of salt to balance the sweetness and this is loved by our returning customers. But this is certainly nowhere near enough to make salt the dominant flavour as this is impossible in a cake where proportionally sugar is the dominant ingredient.
Because taste perception can be affected by many factors, including personal preference, I’m afraid we are unable to refund you as you have requested numerous times via email and WhatsApp. Should you wish to try another cake again in future please do get back in touch and we will be happy to serve you again and hope to please you.
