Not the best

On the morning the removal team arrived very promptly, in a van designed for transporting horses, although it is advertised as any van so hey ho. Not sure if it was particularly clean as my furniture was very dirty when I arrived at my destination. The two man team were very efficient and loaded quickly.
The people moving into my property also booked Any Van and they turned up before I was ready to leave and wanted to unload the van, I felt under pressure to let them do this, the reason being they had another job to do which was timed.
Also on the morning of the move Any Van rang to say that if the removal people have to wait longer than an hour you are charged £40.00 an hour for waiting time, this should be mentioned when booking, I am sure it is buried in the small print somewhere, a nice money earner as with most house moves there is alot of waiting around as was my case.
Would I use Any Van again probably not, I would go with a more traditional firm of removers.

Removals…

Used Anyvan to move house contents into storage in October 20. My driver Andrei and his colleague were punctual, polite, helpful, pleasant, and took some additional items without further cost. Would I recommend.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing, I had to call 4 times and each time they had my details wrong. Each time the price went up and i was told unless i paid immediately they couldn’t guarantee the price!! In the last call they assured me that the price covered everything including if the sofa needed dismantling from the pickup point.This was not the case and the driver called to say it would be an additional £80 The price wentfrom £74 intially to £230 daylight robbery and I feel completely conned the drivers were not told that i had paid to have my old sofa dismantled and disposed of despite me repeating several times to the company. I would NEVER use again

Complete hassle

Although the customer service was impeccable and they sorted it the best they could and fast the drivers don't seem all to bright or friendly, the first driver had to be here between 11 and 2 and I heard nothing so I called up the fast friendly customer service and they told me the driver had read his books wrong..... Somehow he got derbyshire mixed up with Manchester which is just ridiculous and probably won't be spoken to about it by the company and just put it down to human error it cause me and my family alot of grief I was about to give up then they sorted one for half past 5 again this caused alot of grief and I helped the drivers the best I could (even though I didn't have to)one was nice enough and thanked me the other one after saying thank you to him 3 times just got cold psyco stares back from him and silence, very very rude,will not use this service again they must fake their reviews or ask friends of the staff to do fake ones because this was an awful experience and after all that after spending 127 pounds they gave me a 10 pound refund.. ... Disgusting

Avoid this company at all cost

Avoid this company at all cost! They are charging us extra since they felt one of the item was heavier than expected. The driver did not mention anything to us if not we would have it settled there. Anyvan just charged us additional fees without consulting us.

took the money and didn't do their job

I called them and I told them to pack a few boxes and to deliver them to a deposit.
I gave them my address, phone number, email address and my bank account from which they draw 145 pounds. They only withdraw the money from the account and they did not collect the boxes.
I called again and they asked me to pay an extra of 75 pounds to come again to the address. I refused to give them any more money. They didn't want to return the money that they collected without doing their job.

Lost items but not their fault!

Cushions lost by courier but am told that they were not put on even though seller confirmed. Customer obviously not always right..?? the pic showing delivery is missing the items but this doesnt matter to anyvan....all that matters is the couriers van was empty??

Literally the worse service iv ever had, no one turned up on the arranged day to collect items, calling the operators telling me now they can’t do what iv paid for, DO NOT BOOK THESE PEOPLE ! All iv heard is excuses,the service is the worse iv ever had the misfortune to deal with, they take your money before the job is even allocated and then blame your location and stairs to why their rubbish service can’t allocate your removal ! The company is a joke, the costumer services are no help at all although there quick enough to take your money , no compensation what so ever for all the stress they have caused and managers that couldn’t care less. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Appalling. Avoid at all costs.

The drivers were in such a rush they smashed a loaded trolley into my newly plastered and painted doorframe and wall. They cut the pipe off of my washing machine, and then denied doing it. They left half of the items behind, leaving myself, a disabled woman, and my elderly mother to move it all ourselves.
Customer services are totally uninterested and unapologetic. I've received an email requesting photos, quotes for the damage etc, so now have lots more work to do in the midst of trying to unpack etc.
I chose to pay the £500 fee in order to make the move easier and less stressful but it has had the opposite effect.
I just wish I'd read the reviews before booking. Hopefully this will help someone else to avoid the same mistake. Take your business elsewhere.

Avoid this company

Anyvan drivers stole my TV and guitar stand and it took months of persistence and multiple phone calls with multiple employees to get any compensation at all, and even then it only covered a small percentage of the cost of the stolen items. The drivers also broke multiple items whilst moving them but Anyvan won't compensate for these items without before and after photos - so make sure you take a photo of every single item before moving!! An online employee review wrote that, "They rely on Trust pilot to get their business and everyone internally knows that most of the high star reviews are paid for and posted". In my experience, Anyvan is a horrendous company and should be ashamed of how they operate. Anyvan will try to get this review taken down but I will continue to post it and am happy to provide proof of everything I have mentioned above. I hope they get investigated.

Intimidating and upsetting

They arrived late 40 minutes past the allotted time of between 10am and 12 noon. They counted the number of boxes etc and would not take a single thing extra like an ironing board. As I was moving the contents of my flat to SafeStore whilst it was being refurbished there were at least 10 of the 29 boxes had Fragile tape all over them. They proceeded as they were in a hurry to throw the boxes to each other to load onto their trolley. They did not care whether things were fragile or not. I felt very intimidated by them, and very unusually did not question their attitude. When they reached the SafeStore the same procedure happened with them throwing the boxes to each other and dropping them on their trolley. They moaned that they were told storage would be on the ground floor, but this was not the case because I did not know until the day where the storage unit would be.Again boxes were just chucked onto the floor, not caring if anything was FRAGILE or not. Cannot believe that I gave them a tip just to get rid of them. I am concerned that a lot of china has been broken by their highhanded way of dealing with an lady whose lifelong possessions were being dealt with so carelessly. They were not at all helpful considerate or kindly.

This company is bad news

This company is bad news! They ruined my leather sofa and refused to comoensate me because I had no photos to prove it! I am also fighting very hard to keep my bad review on trust pilot. Everytime I leave a bad review, any van asks for it to be removed and says my review is not genuine and that I have not used their service!! myself and my girlfriend used anyvan service on the 10/07/2020. Our drivers name was Mustafa and our order number was AV 646 0189. I have every right to express my views and my comments are completely genuine.

We have used AnyVan 3 times over 6 weeks.

Absolutely amazing.

Patrick and Markus just left my property and what they did was truly unfathomable.

£169 for:
•2 beds
•2 mattresses
•1 Huge, heavy, old wardrobe.

We’re really impressed and so thankful.

Vitor - A credit to AnyVan for Business

Vitor was an absolute pleasure to work with. With a large job and several logistical challenges, Vitor ensured the smallest of details were given the largest amount of attention. A big project was completed very smoothly, without any complications or stress. A huge thanks to Vitor, his team and and to the drivers who also helped make this project possible. I look forward to working closely again with Vitor for any future projects.

Vitor at AnyVan has given great…

Vitor at AnyVan has given great service. Communication has been excellent and friendly, even when we have needed vans at short notice.

The drivers have been friendly, helpful and able to turn their hands on the many jobs and roles needed.

Extremely obliging and looks after us…

Extremely obliging and looks after us as a company.
Vitor always try's to accommodate us even at short notice and always receive a polite, prompt service.
We have never had any complaints from our customers following the service provided.
Keep up the good work Vitor and look forward to passing many more bookings your way.
I would highly recommend AnyVan no questions asked.
