A straight forward system. Good parking for us as we had heavy baggage and needed a city centre location. However.... giving an exact time of arrival meant we had to go slow to reach the destination... See more

Excellent online service, easy to use and no issues getting in or out. Very happy with the service, will certainly recommend APCOA

I paid for my elderly father to park his car at the hospital and I pre-booked it online and he came out and found a big ticket on his car so now I have to take time out of my day to write a email to sort the ticket out awful experience

I had an issue regarding a parking charge, but the customer service team was extremely helpful and responsive. A big thank you to Joanne for handling my query efficiently and processing my £60 refund without any hassle. Excellent service and great communication throughout!

It was easy to book for the long stay car at Luton. I decided after booking that I wanted to make the entry time a bit earlier so sent an email. It took a few days to get a reply as I understand the system was being changed over. However, I did receive an informative reply from Samantha explaining the two hour grace period which put my mind at rest.

Utterly awful. Website does not remember you have registered. App does not work any more. How the hell do you find one day parking on the website!? A tedious waste of time.

Excellent customer service from APCOA. Slightly slow to get back to you using e mail with regard the initial contact but once the link is made I cannot fault their speed and their courtesy in processing your query. Really excellent.

While I don't agree with being charged to collect or drop off at airports, when there is a discrepancy, the people handling the problems are very good. I had Ellie deal with my issue this morning, and she was not only professional but also understanding and extremely polite. When you finally get through to a human (which takes far too long), they are excellent.

I got caught in a circle with the AI bot but when I asked for a supervisor I was able to resolve my problem
The AI bot needs to be able to deal with all situations

Pick-up at Luton Airport. I use this facility fairly often but on this occasion a friend collected me. We both ended up paying the £7 fee due to a misunderstanding. I contacted the office by email explaining our error and the refund was made promptly. Very satisfied!

I am still waiting for a response for the following feedback.
I parked my vehicle at the train station. Unfortunately, as I was rushing to catch my train, I inadvertently forgot to purchase parking for the day.
When I returned to collect my vehicle at approximately 10:00 pm, I realised my mistake and immediately attempted to pay the outstanding parking charge. I made every reasonable effort to do so:
● I telephoned APCOA’s customer service line several times but was unable to reach anyone.
● I attempted to pay using the APCOA app. However, there was no option to pay retrospectively for the parking already incurred. Instead, the app only allowed me to begin a new parking session for that evening, which I did.
● As I was unable to resolve the issue through either of these channels, I sent an email to APCOA that same evening explaining the situation and requesting assistance so that I could pay the parking fee.
Despite my prompt attempt to resolve matters, I did not receive a response until some ten days later. By then, your reply offered no practical assistance and simply failed to address the issue I had raised when payment could still have been facilitated.
I have now received a Parking Charge Notice. Although I fundamentally disagree with the circumstances in which it has been issued, I have paid the charge because I have little confidence that any appeal would be considered fairly. Paying the charge should not be interpreted as acceptance that the notice was justified.
My complaint is not that I forgot to pay initially—I accept responsibility for that mistake. Rather, my complaint is that I made genuine and immediate attempts to rectify the oversight before any enforcement action had been taken, yet APCOA provided no meaningful mechanism for doing so. The inability to make retrospective payment through the app, the lack of telephone support, and the significant delay in responding to my email effectively deprived me of any opportunity to correct an honest mistake.
It is difficult to reconcile these practices with a customer-focused approach. A system that offers no practical means for motorists acting in good faith to pay the parking they owe appears designed to maximise the issuance of Parking Charge Notices rather than facilitate compliance - an unfair business practice.
I would therefore ask APCOA to review both the handling of my case and its wider processes to ensure that motorists who promptly seek to rectify an oversight are given a genuine opportunity to do so before being subjected to enforcement action.
*update*
To clarify, APCOA did reply to confirm that I have settled the fine, but did not address any of the above points that I have raised.

Relating to APCOA at Luton Airport, I was not a regular visitor and un-familiar with layout and various entry/exit points/drop off at Luton Airport.
I have now had three (3) issues with parking, ALL OF WHICH WERE MY OWN FAULT, by entering wrong barrier, wrong carpark etc.
Customer Services are VERY helpful and FAIR with mistakes made by drivers of vehicles using the Car Parking facilities.
E-Mailing issues are given a prompt and fair response if circumstances are explained to them.
Samantha B has dealt with my most recent problem and promptly resolved issue with a refund issued straight away.
Un-like many parking companies, I have found their Customer Services to be excellent.
This results in me being a returning customer for APCOA parking at Luton Airport.
Many thanks for your kind attention to problems/overcharging/refunds.
