Appalling service from Aramex in Saudi…

Appalling service from Aramex in Saudi Arabia. Despite a promised delivery date of February 2nd (for an order placed on Jan 19th), the item was not delivered. To make matters worse, Aramex unilaterally cancelled my item two days before the delivery date! This is unacceptable and pure harassment to customers.

I am experiencing one of the worst…

I am experiencing one of the worst delivery situations I have ever encountered, involving Aramex and NBD.

My bank shipped my credit card in late August last year, providing Aramex with my email address and two physical addresses (home and work in Fujairah). Unfortunately, my phone number had changed from a tourist SIM to a permanent one. Although I updated my new number in the bank’s system, NBD—despite its already poor customer service—failed to update the phone number in the shipment details provided to Aramex.

Instead of attempting to contact me via email or delivering the card to either of the provided addresses, Aramex chose to return the shipment after approximately 60 days, citing their internal policy.

After many unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue, I personally visited the bank branch in Fujairah. A banker contacted NBD and explained the situation, after which a new credit card was issued. However, once again, the bank failed to update my phone number in the shipment system. As a result, the exact same problem occurred.

The replacement card was shipped on January 9, 2026, and to this day, I still have not received it—despite multiple follow-ups with the bank regarding the delay.

Eventually, I managed to reach a knowledgeable customer service representative at the bank who investigated the matter properly. They confirmed that NBD never updated my phone number in the shipment with Aramex and provided me with the tracking number. Upon checking the tracking status online, I discovered that the shipment is still marked as “in transit” and has never reached Fujairah, even though Aramex has my full home and work addresses and my email address.

What is most frustrating is Aramex’s response through their online help system using the provided tracking number, which I also provide to them. They insist that if the phone number is not updated by the bank, they will not deliver the card. If the customer has the tracking number and provided Aramex with it, along with an updated phone number, wouldn't that be enough to look into the situation???

This is frankly unacceptable and outdated. We are in the 21st century—why does Aramex refuse to use alternative contact methods such as email or physical address, both of which were provided from the beginning? Also, the updated phone number from my side, insisting that only until the bank updates it in its shipping system, which has been now two days and the bank hasn't!!!

Additionally, Aramex does not offer a proper, accessible customer service line. Their nonstandard phone system is extremely difficult to use, even with a postpaid line, making it nearly impossible for customers to resolve urgent issues directly.

This entire experience reflects a serious lack of coordination, accountability, and modern customer service standards—on the part of both Aramex and NBD.

I would give a negative rating for…

I would give a negative rating for their service.
This courier service is highly unreliable. My package, which needed to be delivered within a 30 km radius, has been delayed for over two weeks. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, there has been no update from their side, everytime they are giving lame excuses. Lack of accountability and poor customer service. I would strongly advise against using this service.

Terrible Experience : Aramex Lost Shipment – Earlier Order Stalled While Later Order Delivered

I am extremely disappointed with Aramex regarding an international shipment that appears to be lost.

Tracking number 2339912960 was ordered and shipped before another Aramex shipment. Despite being the earlier shipment, it has been stuck at the origin facility since 28 January 2026, with no international departure scan and no updates on its location.

Meanwhile, the later shipment has successfully cleared customs and is already being prepared for delivery in South Africa. Amazon has now confirmed that the first shipment may be lost and has started their own escalation process.

I request urgent clarification from Aramex on:

The current physical location of shipment 2339912960

Why the shipment stalled at origin

Whether this shipment is considered lost and what your loss-handling process is

This is not a minor delay — it reflects a serious breakdown in handling and tracking. I expect a prompt response and resolution....

Absolutely appalling service. Doesn’t deserve any star ratings

If I could give -10 stars, I would definitely give .Massive delays, and parcels just sit at the depot for days before anyone bothers to deliver—if they arrive at all.

I sent very urgent documents expecting them to be delivered on time, but they still haven’t arrived. Customer service is completely unresponsive, and when you do manage to reach someone, they just tell you to “wait longer” with no explanation or accountability.

Absolutely appalling service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Aramex.

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would. Expect no customer service, massive delays and that your parcel will sit at the depot for days before someone bothers to deliver it…if it arrives at all. If you ask where your parcel is, they just bark at you to wait longer.
Absolutely appalling company.

Absolutely Terrible Service. STAY AWAY.

Absolutely terrible service. The whole experience is horrible. My parcel was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago but is held at customs.
I called customer service 5 times and they couldn’t solve the issue. They don’t even care to help, just repeat the same sentence over and over again.
STAY AWAY from this company.

Beware of paying double for Import Duties and VAT

I ordered an item from London, UK and has been received by Aramex on 9 January 2026, and until 14th January 2026, they have sent me a link to pay for the Customs and VAT for UAE from UK in order to proceed with the delivery, the link did not work and after trying contacting them for a few days, no response, nothing, until the link worked after 5 days. When it arrived in Abu Dhabi on 26th January 2026, they came to my address for delivery and was shocked with another 10% Customs and VAT fee to be paid (which is a total of 20% fee for both payment) so I showed them that I have already paid that fee and told me that they will check and get back to me in order to resolve this issue, but after 1 day, they put on the tracking that the customer has declined to accept the shipment. Why do I have to pay 20% for import duties when the law says that I should only pay 10%??? Who is taking the extra 10%???

The dregs!

You're dealing with the absolute dregs here if you're looking to do an Amazon return or need courier services of any type. EIGHT weeks to deliver from Cape Town to UK. ROTTEN communication the whole time. SIX weeks to get an invoice that should've been delivered as a as matter of course. NO return receipt. It's a miracle I got my rfud but it took several hours of arguing with "customer service".
AVOID.

This has been one of the worst…

This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life with Aramex.
I am never confident when receiving my shipments through Aramex because whenever there is an issue with delivery, I cannot find any effective communication channel to resolve it. All Aramex communication channels are disappointing—either my calls go unanswered, or the chat system keeps restarting and does not have the ability to address my issue. and still Aramex continue with this way without any listen and improve their customer experience

Zero human contact

Aramex service has just gone to shi*! They killed any form of communication with a human, except on live chat where they are completely unresponsive. Aramex drivers will call you smack in the middle of the work day when you can't pick up then don't show up because you didn't. You also can't call them back because they hide their numbers. They've just made the user experience incredibly frustrating from start to finish for the sake of cutting costs, and they didn't even pass these savings to the customer as they are still expensive as hell to ship with!

Poor tracking, paying tax to delivery in CASH with no prior notice

I had never heard of Aramex before, but MyUS sent my parcel to Indonesia using their service. From the start, the tracking experience was extremely poor. It did not clearly show what was happening with the shipment, and I had no visibility into when customs taxes would be due or how much they would be. A third-party iOS tracking app actually provided more information than the official tracking, which should not be the case.

Then, without any prior notice or clear instructions, I woke up to five missed phone calls at 8:00 am from SAPX Express informing me that I would need to pay customs tax in CASH when the delivery driver arrives.

This makes no sense in 2026. Requiring cash payment for customs on delivery, with no advance notice or digital payment option, is completely outdated and unacceptable. If I encounter this carrier again in the future, I will actively avoid using their service, unless I have a confirmation that logistics was improved. Happy to change my review when it does.
