A bunch of money for a big paperweight

It's not acceptable for all the money I spent on this device that every freakin' time I unplug it from the charger it has to crash. I'm sorry but If you can, build your pc/laptop by yourself. Never rely on companies like this if you want your product to work as expected

Do not buy a ASUS

Do not buy a ASUS! The slowest computer possible, with a lot of software problems which are not solvable.

Real problems start after a couple of months, certainly when working with Citrix you will endure a lot of problems

NEVER buying an ASUS again!

The worst customer experience

The worst customer experience. Very broken support system where nobody knows how to help. Like pulling teeth just to send in a monitor for repair under warranty. Website full of broken links. Was only able to receive functional support after threatening lawsuit.

Never again

Spend around 800 euro on a laptop, the screws holding it together literally just fell out within the shortest amount of time, due to this something broke within the laptop, they say its the users fault and doesn't fall under warranty... so after buying an already expensive laptop, had to pay an additional 140 euros to get it fixed.. will never buy an asus again, just absolutely ridiculous that something as expensive as it is falls apart within months..

BEWARE LAPTOP MODEL F1605ZA ASUS…

BEWARE LAPTOP MODEL F1605ZA ASUS LAPTOP, Computer caught fire inside my home on my coffee table while Iid was closed and not being used.
The laptop was plugged in, I came home 5 minutes before my home and my 8-year-old Chihuahua Bethoveen were destroyed by fire.
I Contacted Asus who did send a replacement computer after 3 weeks!
Mine was under warranty, also it was a better model than the one that I previously had that caught fire, this is true. Then I asked for smoke damage cleanup to be paid for by Asus, because there was thousands of dollars worth of smoke damage to my home, and $650 worth of fire damage.
Asus agreed to pay the damages if I sent the laptop to them which I did and of course they would not compensate me because it was determined to be started
from an outside source. What tha What? What outside source? No one was home, and the fire department ruled the laptop caught fire because the battery became hot enough to combust. Asus made that up to keep from paying the damages to my home.
The estimated damage from the smoke was b/w $4100 and $7,500 I got two estimates from Servpro, and ServiceMaster which are professional smoke cleaning services.
They refuse to pay any of the money to have the home cleaned up. And use trickery and stall tactics to receive the laptop as well as delay.
I'm going to say this again the computer caught fire on my coffee table in my home, it did not just get hot and melt the plastic it burst into flames and was on fire when I opened my front door to my home, ON FIRE and it was pitch black dark inside my home and Beethoven who is like one of our kids, was in the closet, a smart place to be, but I had to go inside the home three times to find him in pitch black smoke the smoke covered my entire home the mattresses all our clothes all my furniture my HVAC units everything completely covered in black smoke. I had thrown water on the computer, not a good idea by the way, then throw the computer outside the home into the yard to put it out. Asus refused to pay for any of it. What if it would have been at night and me and my kids and our dog were all asleep in our home? We may have all succumbed to smoke inhalation and then most certainly worse, I've read more than one article with this very incident has occurred and many many laptop fires have started because of overheating batteries. I am trying to warn the public and here is the model number. Laptop model F1605ZA. BEWARE OF THIS COMPUTER AND COMPANY PLEASE. Get this, I only ask for $5,000 from Asus, that only covers the cleaning of the home that does not cover any furniture any clothes any mattresses that will just covers the walls the ceiling and the carpet. They did not offer to pay for any hotels which we were displaced and still are,, AND STILL ARE!! WE ARE STAYING AT MY MOTHER'S HOME. We're a poor family blue collar hard-working, barely making ends meet as it is family. And we ask for nothing but our home to be cleaned so we could move back in. We did not ask for anything else nothin, only the smoke removed from our home so we do not become sick and sit on furniture that turns our clothes black. Please understand this we did not ask for 20 or 30 or 40 or $50,000 but 5, FIVE. LOL FIVE. A outside source would mean that someone broke into my home and did what? set fire to my laptop with a match a torch a magnifying glass? What outside source? Pathetic please be aware before you buy this model F1605ZA. I would advise against buying one from them at all. I've never sued anyone before, but now I see why people do.

ASUS Router with low user experience

I just bought a ASUS router (RT-AX86U Pro). Now they use CAPTCHA at the login page for extra security. The problem is that I can not decifre the letters myself even with my reading spectacle on. I showed it to my wife and she has a hard time too.
I think ASUS should come up with something that does not keep the intended user out.

In general I like what ASUS is doing with their routers and I have had several of them. But I get very annoyed when I have to sit and wait 5 min for a new try because I cant read the CAPTCHA.

AVOID ASUS CHROMEBOOK

This device has ruined my whole life by automatically setting up stuff that I didn't ask for and now the only way to fix it is hiring a hacker to have access to all my privacy.
That's something else.

This useless laptop only is worth it if you want to use it to watch youtube and netflix, NOTHING ELSE.
Suddenly the system stops working and is opening random pages while I'm trying to work.

AVOID, the cheapest is the most expensive ever at the end.

Worst loyalty program ever

A few years ago I discovered that ASUS has a loyalty program. They called it ROG (Republic of Gamers).

I thought: "why not?". I registered. I entered the serial numbers of my ASUS products. I participated in all the activities available to me that the company organised. I visited their website every day.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to repeat my experience. Why?

1) For several months I had problems with their website. I found temporary solutions on my own, but they worked every other time. At some point, I despaired and contacted the technical support. They listened to me and promised to contact me as soon as they find out something. I am still waiting for their answer (since August 17, 2022)...

2) The levels and points accumulated for participating in the program burn out after a year. I wanted to spend it on something I'm really interested in, and ended up losing almost everything. That is, participating in ROG you will have a difficult choice: just lose points or spend them on nonsense. You will be disappointed either way.

3) Rewards rarely appear, are expensive and sell out quickly (sometimes in a few hours). ASUS warned me a month ago that I would lose points. So I began to come twice a day to get at least something. During July, only such awards appeared: merch that was not interesting to me (which was instantly sold out) and a game that was not interesting to me (I could not get it either. It needed to take through a site that is not available in my country).

Dear ASUS. You have gotten your points back. Please tell me now how can I get back the time I spent on you?

This company is dishonest …….

This company is dishonest and gives the worst possible customer service. I wish I had read the appalling reports.
It claims to make “extraordinary efforts “. That is only accurate when referring to its customer service performance, it is impossible for that lack of good service to get any worse.
For then SECOND time I have had to return an IDENTICAL product (Vivobook) to repair an IDENTICAL fault. Ergo ASUS is selling a product it knows to faulty. Again I am having to wait weeks for the repair to completed. The fault is that the numerical keypad suddenly ceases to operate.
The question has to be asked is that does this selling of a knowingly defective product, amount to fraud. Their claim to make extraordinary efforts (to provide good customer service) is downright untrue.
Before you consider buying anything ASUS make, think very hard.
ASUS require an account to be created BEFORE accepting any complaint. For some inexplicable reason your date of birth is required. Under British law that is highly confidential and must be handled in a special manner. Passwords etc., are just as effective for security. Please keep your hands in pockets before you even think of trading with ASUS.

Fraudsters!!!

I bought a Zenfone 9 | RhinoShield Impact Screen Protector / 90AI00C0-BSC010.
I picked up a package with protective glass. The packaging said "ASUS Zenfone 8/9". I opened the package and started the installation process. After putting on the protective glass, I noticed that the protective glass is smaller than the phone screen. I noticed that on the product packaging the name "ASUS Zenfone 8/9" is a sticker. After removing the sticker, the real name "Apple iPhone s Max" appeared, which phone it is intended for.

Thank you for your email.

Thank you for your email.

Please keep in mind that you purchased the laptop for 400 euros.

This is one of our cheapest laptop offerings.

You will obviously not receive high class audio at this price point.

If the sound quality is not up to par with what you would like, then I would also recommend returning the laptop to the dealer. This is email from Asus support, I'm speechless, well it doesn't matter is 400 euro or 800 euro products should work perfectly...

Asus TUF Gaming laptops: faulty camera's

Don't buy an Asus TUF Gaming laptop without checking the camera first: the built in camera has a serious problem (kinda like tearing) which neither Asus nor a repair shop can fix. I bought a TUF Gaming F17; sent it back for another one; both had the same problem. Some research by me on the web revealed that many series of Asus laptop have the same problem at least since 2020. A crying shame for such expensive laptops.
