Money Grubbing Untrustworthy Insurance
After we moved house, my wife's car insurance cost (with another insurer) went down, as we moved to a lower risk area.
However, AXA, who claim to "calculate" risk decided to raise the price. Wasn't by much so went along with it.
But when I did my contents insurance, they "calculated" that they told me they needed to double the price.
I went onto their site anonymously and got a new quote for the same address and contents as before, and the price was actually lower.
There doesn't seem to be any "calculation" other than squeeze the existing customer in the hope that changing is more trouble than just paying their raised prices.
I, and many others despise insurance companies, and AXA are a prime example of why.
Cancelling my policy is cheaper than staying with them, I urge all of their customers reading this to do the same.
