This model village is an absolute delight. There is plenty of space and also a game of crazy golf is included in the admission price.
There are models depicting all aspects of life. The likeness of the characters from the Eastenders displays are amazing!
There is also a good cafe and gift shop.
This is a wonderful place for adults and children.
I can’t wait to visit again!

A fantastic place to visit when the illuminations are on.
We started in the daylight and stayed for the evening. Well worth the visit.

Visited on my free day on my coach holiday to Torquay.
Very picturesque, gardens/landscaping outstanding. The models are imaginative, amusing, and it is fun to look for all the little quirks.
Some wonderful viewpoints to take pictures.
Unfortunately, the cafe has a very poor selection for allergens. As a coeliac requiring gluten free options, I was only offered a slice of pizza or a flapjack. At £20.50 entry fee, I would've thought a few gluten free sandwiches after a couple of hours walking around wouldn't have been too much to ask. But unfortunately this is a common issue I come across while travelling.
Nevertheless, the young lady at the counter was pleasant, so ordered a tea and sat on the nice decking area eating my own items I brought with me while enjoying the view.

Visited here today. Wow, what a unique place. The gentleman on the admission desk was very polite and courteous (very rare these days!). We spent over 2 hours walking around the village. Especially loved the indoor mythical kingdom (a pleasant escape from the heat of the sun today!) The grounds are kept to perfection! You can see they are frequently updating the village and money being put back in to it. We also stopped for a bite to eat in the cafe, they offer paninis and pizzas, hot and cold drinks, and even catered for my daughter who is gluten and lactose free. The young girl behind the cafe till was also very polite! All in all, a great afternoon. Admission and cafe prices are reasonable enough. Well done guys/girls, you should be very proud of your village! ❤️

Having driven an hour and pre reserved our tickets online , we arrived at Babbacomce village at 4.15 for a surprise visit for my god daughter and her mum .
Opening times stated that they closed at 6 pm yet we were ‘greeted’ by a very abrupt woman behind the till in the shop . We were then told no , last entry was by 3.30 pm as it works “take a couple of hours. to get around it”
We explained that we were willing to still pay the full price for tickets , which frankly was quite expensive if we could just have half an hour or an hour to see as much as we could , that we had driven a long way and that it was an Xmas treat for the little one .
In response , we were told that there was no way (in a very inhospitable tone for a ‘ tourist attraction ‘) No flexibility, , no apology and definitely lacking in any sort of Christmas spirit. !

Amazing model village! Something different for the whole family. Dog friendly everywhere besides inside the caffe but plenty of outdoor sitting. Parking just outside at reasonable prices

We really enjoyed our trip to the model village. Cost was £29 for 2 adults using pre-booked entry. This includes the crazy golf, but not the parking. Site is steep maybe too steep for those with mobil...

Lots to see with some new, topical exhibits. These helped to make the visit feel up-to-date. We even managed a round of crazy golf while we were there. Sometimes it's the details that you don't dpot at first glance that provide the most amusement. Rushing round is not the way to do it in our experience.
Spotting Beefeaters and other figures as part of a game for children is a great idea. It helped to maintain their attention span for the entire visit and even proved something of a challenge for the adults at times!

A wonderful place that my family and I have been visiting for some 20 years, a gentle stroll around the grounds is definitely worth a visit.

Recently visited Babbacombe Model Village in July 2016, although the model village is full of character and well-kept gardens, we felt £36.50 cost for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 kids) was on the high side, especially as you can wander around the whole site in under one hour.
