Simon Askew, thief and con man asked for £1000 deposit which I stupidly gave for a bathroom refurbishment, didn’t show, he offered me the opportunity to rearrange or cancel, I was a bit suspicious so took the offer to cancel, he said he would refund deposit but never did, even sympathetic to the fact my husband has cancer, obviously another lie, started court proceedings but after seeing on here how many CCJ he has it not worth it, a disgusting individual AVOID

Horrendous company. Please see the number of court cases out against this man. He changes company name ever so slightly and cycle begins. Read all the reviews, use common sense, if he does it to others, he'll do it to you. He's a fraudsters and absolute rubbish at any kind of DIY -you don't get expert or time served tradesmen ....., a novice, incompetent person could better.

Dear Sir ,
To all customers out there who have or may have dealings with this company and the director, I have now received an email from the director personally threatening violence against me, and calling me a fat c¿¿t. I will be reporting him to the Police, and also advising the Liquadator on how he does business. Stay well clear of this man.

Paid £4500 in Oct 2021 to revamp bathroom with new walk in shower, wall/ceiling coverings etc. Few weeks in shower head started to drip when off, Guys came out said needed a new shower pipe, still waiting (should have been a warning sign). Now May 2022, waste pipe from shower has come off, water through kitchen ceiling, company does not respond to contact. So having to pay for this myself and go through Small Claims Court once final bill in. If they have gone in to liquidation GOOD and hopefully they stay out of business.

Editing the review as the shower now inspected, what a cowboy job from start to finish, no maintenance access, shower edging skirt glued down beyond belief so that it had to be broken off, shower supported by chunks of wood, glued and screwed together, again way of the top, whole thing will probably have to be condemned and replaced.

This information is easily verifiable it’s there in black and white on the official Companies House website. Anyone can see it for free, just search for Bathroom Suites NorthEast Ltd.

Shows how stupid they are when they lie about info that’s in the public domain and is easily checked. They got another CCJ against them recently too after the court ruled in favour of a disgruntled customer. Thats a matter of record on the public CCJ register. That’s 7 CCJs in the last few months. What a reputable company !

got these guys to do a small job, after delaying it by several months multiple times they finally came and did it. took them twice as long as stated, no problem. every corner that could be cut was cut, the plinth for the shower was made of 4 stacks of offcuts, wasn't even so the shower tray broke after 1 day. took 6 months to replace, and then new tray is installed so water doesn't go down the drain, but onto the floor. the boards that were glued onto the walls weren't sealed in any way, so leak and grow mold. tracked silicone over every carpet in the house, left rubbish they were paid to haul away in my garage. the shower unit itself isnt even installed straight. trim wasn't glued on, shower screen wasn't sealed, absolute joke.

Nightmare from.stat to finish cowboys the biggest joke I've come across what I was told would have took 3 days took 2 weeks lads walking off job no explanation given then they turned up when felt like it stayed an hour left so rang to see were they were 5 mins away haha 2 hours later 5mins away . And like most I've just read we had a leak 1 day after shower fitted an no we didn't contact them I got a professional company out to deal.with the joke they called.a job. we payed these jokes £ 4300 for a bathroom.they told us would.be done to a high standard and with out any hassle to use I would never ever give this company any recommendations what I would do is tell.people to give them a wide birth please.please.do.not use this company.

Had a full bathroom refit this week and soo pleased with the finished result, Dean and his Son were the fitters and were fantastic and any problem straight on the phone and things were altered as we went along and i valued Deans opinion as he was the bathroom fitter and my bathroom is amazing. Massive thankyou

Left without a working shower which now Leaks into the kitchen and has cause more damaged, Simon never replies to messages and then make excuses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We are going to take him to court

When meeting Simon, he was friendly, honest and reliable. Simon worked around my budget and advised as to what he thought would be best aswell as taking my thoughts into consideration, he brought his knowledge and experience in as a guide as to how to create the perfect bathroom for myself with both my ideas and his, whilst still working within my budget. Whilst working within my property for my new bathroom he ensured me of what they were doing throughout the process. Simon was able to work around myself and my schedule as to when I was available and was flexible to my needs and was always on time . He was very focused on what he was doing and did what he needed to do with no hassle and I didnt have to worry about mess, before him leaving the property he ensured all mess caused due to fitting my new bathroom was tidied up, which I really appreciated. I was impressed in how fast he had managed to get the work done, but to a perfection standard which anybody would hope for and he delivered this. Would highly recommend to anybody needing a new bathroom fitted to suit there needs or their dream bathroom!

Fantastic job by Simon, very happy with the result. Quick, tidy, polite and all for a very reasonable price. We are so happy with the job done we’ve asked him to do another ASAP!

I see Simon is at it again, we used him when he was BSNE absolutely useless in fact the worse company ive ever dealt with. 100% feedback on fb, how strange !

ABSOLUTE SHARKS!!!
BSNE frontman is charming yet very intimidating but a great salesman who stole £1000 from us. Won our case against him in small claims court but he gave courts false address. He is now being chased by bailiffs to recover our deposit for no works done. DO NOT TRUST BSNE or any of his other businesses of which there are many!!! Silver lining is we refused to allow him to start any work and just went straight to court for being missold our bathroom. Have been blocked from the BSNE FB page so cant warn others. CON MAN
UPDATE bailiffs have recovered our money after being faced with intimidation, aggression and threats so keep fighting!

Avoid this lot at all costs, unreliable unprofessional and an average job. Been in 2 months and 3x we've had to re-grout. Worse company ive ever had to deal with. Not one bad review on fb tho, how strange ?

Abysmal quality! It seems very cheap and a super deal because it is the lowest grade of products money can buy - Con Artists!

My Son had a bathroom and kitchen refurbished Dec 2019 with a guarantee of 2yrs . His shower went off after a year and Simon the owner wouldn’t come out .As my son has autism it has been very stressful for him. Simon ordered 2 parts which were both wrong, so my son has had to pay £180 for a plumber to come out and fix it .Simons excuse is we have him grief when he was fitting the bathroom and kitchen , but the fitter had to keep leaving my sons job regularly to fix other people’s kitchens or bathroom that were badly done , forgetting to mention that he helped Matt carry the bath down the stairs, carry the units upstairs, help him clear away the rubbish when it was finished, going up to showermania to buy silicone out of his own money, not forgetting we paid this man nearly £11,000. Before you employ a company look at their reviews, I wish I had ,he’s an unprofessional conman .

A very poor job installing my shower room. Not as ordered. After a few months serious problems became obvious including the shower leaking through the hall ceiling. Legal case ongoing.

These done my bathroom. Took everything out put everything in and took everything away. Excellent job by Simon and his team. Recommend them to anyone Dougie Hogg
