⭐ 2/5 – Disappointing Experience, but Exceptional Service from Gemma

Unfortunately, our overall experience with Bathshack was disappointing, especially considering we spent approximately £6,000.

The delivery experience was particularly unpleasant. The driver's attitude was rude and extremely unprofessional, to the point where we seriously considered refusing the entire order. Our previous interactions with other sales representatives were equally underwhelming, with little enthusiasm or genuine interest in helping us.

However, Gemma McDonagh was an absolute credit to the company and genuinely the only reason we chose to purchase from Bathshack.

We changed our minds several times throughout the process, yet Gemma remained incredibly patient, friendly and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she went above and beyond to help us make the right choices for our bathroom.

It's disappointing that one employee can deliver such outstanding service while other aspects of the business fall so far short.

My advice to future customers? Ask for Gemma McDonagh. Without her, we would have taken our £6,000 elsewhere.

I sincerely hope Bathshack management recognises her value and addresses the shortcomings elsewhere in the customer experience.

I have made three orders with Bathshack so far. All arrived very quickly and well packaged.
Unfortunately, one item was slightly damaged in transit and, after contacting Bathshack customer services, a replacement was quickly arranged, no questions asked.
Fantastic customer service. Cannot fault them.

Product was exactly as described and delivered promptly

Told a suitable day for delivery would be agreed, twice. 10 mins notice. Not at home. Expensive goods left on a main road in the rain.

Very professional fast delivery great affordable prices

Our experience with Bathshack was not particularly impressive. The salesman came across as quite pushy, repeatedly emphasising that “THIS IS TODAY’S PRICE ONLY”, which made us feel pressured to make a decision rather than giving us the time and space to consider our options.
He also seemed to be in a rush throughout the consultation. I understand that other customers may have been waiting, but that is not the customer’s responsibility. If there are not enough staff to accommodate everyone properly, this is something the business should address.
We did eventually purchase our new bathroom, but we are still waiting for the email confirmation regarding the order being shipped. We were told that “the sooner you pay, the sooner it’ll be shipped”, so we expected clearer and more timely communication after payment.
The stock available in the showroom also seemed quite limited, although the website may offer a wider selection.
The sales pressure, rushed consultation and lack of follow-up have left us disappointed. There is definitely room for improvement in the customer experience.

Great customer service at Bathshack! I needed a fitting part to attach a pan to a wall-hung frame. Jack and his team went well above and beyond to help me track down a replacement part. He was responsive and friendly, and kept me updated as promised. I was really pleasantly surprised by such personalised after-sales care. Greatly appreciated and highly recommended!
