BatteryStation failed to dispatch on same day (16th) as order but made good by using first class post when they did dispatch. Order arrived (21st)

I have been a customer of Battery Station UK for over 3 years, and have found them to be quick and professional. Not to mention their prices compared to high street prices. 100% recommend.

Excellent service. Bought 4 AAA Eneloop batteries. Delivered next day for only £1.49 standard postage. Vg well organised quick service company. At lowest price I could find. Also are genuine. Pass all tests. Will use again.

I reiterate my opinion about great incompetence!

Below is detailed explanation why.

I placed large (from my perspective is large) Order #400301302 of 70 pieces Alkaline Duracell Procell non rechargeable batteries.

1. Duracell Procell Constant AAA PC2400 LR03 Batteries

2. Duracell Procell AA LR6 PC1500 Batteries

3. Duracell Procell Intense Power AA LR6 PX1500 Batteries

4. Duracell Procell Constant 9V PP3 6LR61 PC1604 Batteries

Now about Best Before date on this batteries.

1. Duracell Procell Constant AAA - 2032

2. Duracell Procell AA - 2027

3. Duracell Procell Intense Power AA - 2028

4. Duracell Procell Constant 9V PP3 - 2027 on the box (but P 11/21 on the battery) according to my review answer this batteries have shorter BB date and looks like P 11/21 is probably manufacturing date)

So... for 2 types of batteries the BB date is the best possible. For another 2 is average and I would expect that information to be displayed before I will place order.

But the whole point of my review is...

Huge incompetence of customers service.

When I had my order delivered I was confused and bit disappointed with some items BB date. I placed this order from company which should be expert in batteries and was expecting that they will have very "fresh" products.

So I decided to call them yesterday. First it was very difficult to be connected to a person. Then first I was talking with one lady probably younger. I provided all information including my order number and personal data. So she was able to check what items I ordered.
I told her that I'm not entirely happy with some BB dates (2027 and 2028) but was told that I'm wrong and I don't understand and this are manufacturing dates !!!

Then was connected to a second person another lady this time probably bit older... was told exactly the same that this dates are manufacturing dates !!!

So I give up because as far as I can read in English it was written on the boxes that this are Best Before dates. So I didn't wanted to argue with someone who is telling me that white is black.

Then today I got answer to my review... looks like someone who answered it knows the stuff which is selling. I also got some informations regarding 9V batteries which now make sense after I checked the symbol P 11/21. So for 9V batteries the BB date is 2027 but probably this P11/21 is manufacturing date which is good.

But this is what I expected calling them yesterday... to talk with an expert and get explanations to my questions. But instead they treated me like a fool and they provided wrong informations which make me even more confused.

And because of that negative experience I call my review huge incompetence.

Hope BatteryStation.co.uk will agree with me. I provided order number and all my personal data. People who were talking with me over the phone were able to see my order and check what type of batteries I ordered. In that case your explanation make no sense. It wasn't mistake... it was incompetence !!!

The reason why this Best Before dates are so important for me... I had recently problem with 2 devices and leaked Alkaline Duracell batteries. It was my fault as I left batteries in the devices for 2 years after Best Before date expired. But now will remove all batteries from not used for longer devices... but also want to have "fresh" batteries to minimalise risk of damage if in the future I will accidentally forgot remove the batteries.

Item as described (CR2 batteries). Long remaining shelf life (9 years). Good price. Prompt delivery. Will use again.

I ordered from this company at 11.30 yesterday morning, my batteries arrived this morning at 11.30 well packaged and secure.
I would highly recommend the company and will most definitely be using them and recommending them to others

Ordered batteries on 22nd Feb, standard delivery. Delivered by 11am next day. Brilliant service Battery station. Reasonable price as well. Can really recommend this company.

Ordered replacement battery for my burglar alarm just after 11am on Friday, delivered lunchtime today (Monday). Fabulous service at a very competitive price, kept informed throughout process by the company, and then by the carriers. Well done Battery Station!

I recently purchased two packs of AA batteries and one of AAA, a total of 12 batteries, all Ansmann. Initially thee was a problem, but everything worked out satisfactory with Battery Station in the end, though we understandably had to go round the houses a little bit.

After the first charge and little use, in different low useage devices, all three sets of batteries had discharged over night. (A Canon flash gun, a heart monitor and a TV controller. I know how very improbable that sounds, but they were recharged, in an Ansmann charger and exactly the same thing happened twice more.

They were then charged in a different charger, but no improvement. So the original old batteries were recharged and reused. They all worked, and continue to work OK, though their life will no doubt be shortish.

After a little understandable too-ing and fro-ing with Battery Station, they came through and the problem was resolved.

The only reason for writing this review really is because of the extreme improbability of having all three sets failing like this. I can vouch for it happening and I will not be going out for a walk in the next thunder storm.

Had a bit of a problem with the original couriers so contacted Battery Station.Problem was sorted within 5 minutes and a new order was dispatched immediately and received the next day. Exemplary customer service as usual. Highly recommended company

I tried to order from this company having been ordering from them for years. I couldn't get logged in and telephoned them after trying to order as a guest. They dont speak to you. You get told school master fashion online to order online as they don't take personal orders on line. Bitterly disappointed with this company
clearly getting to big to deal with people. I will search the web for another supplier

Ordered lunchtime on a 1-2 day delivery, arrived well packaged at 9.30am next day. Good communication all the way. Excellent service

I've placed occasional orders with BatteryStation over several years and its always been a very good experience in terms of both competitive pricing and efficient delivery. I've just had a 24hr delivery delayed by Parcelforce, and within 10 minutes of emailing that information to BatteryStation there was a postage refund to my payment account. Hard to beat that for service.

ordered and received the right batteries but they were too big to put in my doorbell had to return but the service was good.
