Coffee bean subscription
Been using the subscription for a while now all ok but the last order took 10 working days to even ship so out of coffee for about 2 weeks.
Got a holding message saying it was being looked into and will come back to me but no further messages from them until I get an automatic message saying there closing this support case.
No compensation or gesture of good will offered but asked me to leave feedback...
If no issues service is fine but don't expect much help or support if any issues
Non existent customer service
I got 2 free bags of beans through Williams Sonoma. I was asked what flavor notes I liked between three options (fruit, caramel or chocolate). I chose caramel. The bags that were shipped had notes of chocolate and fruit. I emailed Beanz and asked why I was given an option if I wasn’t going to receive what I chose. I received no response. Maybe 2 weeks later I received an email saying they haven’t heard back from me and asking if I needed additional help or if the original problem was still an issue. I responded that no one has even reached out to me regarding my initial question. I just received an email that my case has been closed. Customer service is a complete joke. Whether the beans were free with a purchase or not, this will keep me from purchasing from Beanz in the future, or referring anyone.

Excellent and quick resolution of claim
I was sent a wrong size coffee beans bag by mistake (no big deal). I raised this with the Customer Service team at Beanz and Rick politely and quickly arranged for the correct size bag to be sent out to me at no cost. Very impressed with the quick turnaround and friendly service from the team at Beanz!
Customer service came through when a rock in beans broke my grinder
There was a rock in a bag of beans (always check your beans!) I received via Beanz that broke my burr grinder. My instinct was to reach out to the roaster, who were very kind and suggested I open a case with Beanz for support, saying they already reached out to Beanz's support team to give a heads up. I submitted the case, and Beanz replied by offering to replace or refund the order. All things considered, this felt fair! It may not cover the cost to fix/replace my grinder, but it makes sense for me to share that cost as rocks/objects can happen in beans, and I've learned that I need to be more vigilant about checking beans as I dose them (single dosing makes this easier). I appreciated that both the roaster and Beanz respondly quickly, courteously, and with a resolution that feels fair and probably more than most companies would offer these days. Since this kind of customer service is hard to come by, it has made me feel even better about my Beanz subscription, despite one gripe I've had (namely, I'd love to be able to order 2 different bags of beans each order; however, I'm coming around to seeing how the 2 bags of the same beans is helpful to ensure proper dialing in and getting the most out of a bean). I haven't tried any other coffee subscriptions, but I'd recommend Beanz and plan to stick with them. If you're buying a Breville machine (I got the Bambino for entry level espresso--it's been rad!), there's a great deal on your first order, plus a cash back offer for spend over time.

They did not ever respond to my messages. First reply I received was to let me know my case was closed. I had been a subscriber for almost a year. Decided to cancel after second time of receiving coffee later than subscribed time frame. Prior to this experience, they were always prompt in reply. This was my second time for late delivery. Coffee was always good.
