If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would! My complaint with beko has been going on for 7 months now. I purchased a beko hoover and on the first use it burnt my brand new carpet in 2 places up the stairs. I have sent pictures, numerous emails and phone calls and just keep getting the run around. My last 2 emails absolutely no-one has responded to. The hoover was taken off for "investigation" some months ago now and I have not had a single update as to the progress. This whole thing is a complete waste of my time, just replace my carpet/give compensation and do the right thing!!
Products are not the best quality & Beko are Bargain Basement in my mind
Products are not the best quality. I purchased a Freezer Beko UFF584APW
Under Counter Freezer £175. Its not the best quality inside ie. drawer fronts crack and base ices up.
Contacted customer services but they told me turn it off and get out an engineer. Regardless of the fact this would cost me a £60 callout charge and i would have nowhere to store my food.
Beko are not good quality products.
But they do reply to emails - just not particularly helpful or understanding.
After purchasing a Beko Washing Machine…
After purchasing a Beko Washing Machine on Ebay in January 2020
eventually after 2 weeks it was delivered by Argos, who was not
the ebay seller but clearly affiliated.
By the end of February the machine started to develope severe
vibrations and noise which rapidly worsened over the next few
uses of the machine, to the extent that it got so bad it was
feared it may explode, so we stopped using it and contacted the
engineers specified by Beko.
When the engineer examined the machine he found the heavy concrete
balance weights inside to be loose (A manufacturing fault) this had
also caused major damage to the main drum assembly.
Given this he started the process of ordering all the replacement parts,
equivilent to fitting a new engine in your car.
He told us the parts would be in soon and that an engineer would be
back the following week to fit them under the warranty.
WRONG, after another week and numerous telephone calls to the engineers
we where told that they where still waiting for the parts and the
best option would be to contact Beko directly and quoting their
reference number request a replacement machine.
This was done, and after several phone calls to Beko to chase up
the process we eventually aquired the replacement authorisation
number to give to Argos.
After 2 phone calls to Argos, each with a wait listening to music
for 45mins, they have agreed to deliver a new replacement machine
next Thursday.
From breakdown to replacement would be nearly 4 weeks, with the added
expense of having to do all washing in the local launderette.
I guess after this I would say :-
DON'T BUY A BEKO Washing Machine !!!!!.
Products limited to 3 or 4 years use
I used to be a fan of Beko. But my washer broke within 4 years and a dishwasher is 3 years old (their top of the range at the time with an Inverter motor) has now just stopped. It seems a life span of 3 to 4 years is expected of the range. Had to now buy a replacement dishwasher (not Beko) and will steer clear of the brand in the future. Whilst I get they're a cheap brand, do they really need to be producing machines that break that then need recycling? Why not make them that bit more expensive (even £20 to £30) and spend that money on better quality components. The final straw came today when I realised I need to spend £22 on a filter for a steam generator iron (Beko again) that cost me £40 in the first place. You live and learn and I certainly have with Beko. I'm no longer a fan.
I bought a Beko freezer and after 3…
I bought a Beko freezer and after 3 weeks it has broken down. Called the customer service 3 times and was given various instructions to fix the problem none worked, last call resulted in an appointment being made for an engineer to call 10 days later. I am one of the 1.5 million people who have been sent a letter stating that I must stay in for the next 12 weeks and rely on my freezer to be working. Beko advised me that if in their opinion the freezer is Working properly I must pay £150.00 for the call out or they will cancel my guarantee, guess whats going to happen.
Beko are not doing well so far and don't care about their customers at all. And by the way they will not pay out for any food you may have lost.
I am not impressed with the terrible reviews for this company and wish I had read them before purchasing the freezer.
Their service is terrible (washing machine)
Their service is terrible. Within the first year my washing machine broke down twice. First time the engineer came round he did nothing. Just said that we are using too much detergent ( I'm using the same amount as with other washing machines. Never had any issues with them. This one was leaking multiple times now. Then the washing machine started blowing fuses. I am without a washing machine for 3 weeks now. And their engineer came round again changed the power cord. Still the washing machine isn't working. The lack of care from their helpline is incredible. I've called them today. And the lady (Karen) was just saying "oh we won't do anything with it" disgraceful! Even her tone that she was speaking with me in. Awful... dont buy any products, you are better of spending more money on a better machine definitely not from beko.
Goodluck to anyone who has to deal with their helpline
STEER CLEAR OF BEKO! POOR QUALITY GOODS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES!
Bought a Beko dishwasher via ao.com less than two years ago. Last night it randomly blew our electric and now no longer works. Called their customer service team who said their 2 year guarantee only applies if you register the appliance, despite the fact they had been out to fix the dishwasher once already. I explained I had registered it but they said i need the registration warranty number and without knowing that they wouldn't honour the warranty despite the fact that I have the proof of purchase from ao.com. I asked to be transferred to the repairs team to see the cost of the repair and that I felt their approach was very shady. The guy then just hung up on me. Surely a dishwasher that cost £359 should still work after less than two years when used by a family of 3. Steer clear of Beko their products are poor (had issues with the washing machine. by them too) and their customer services and will resort to shady tactics to get out of repairing their faulty appliances.

Purchased a washing machine Jan 20 from Argos, used twice before it blew electric, now has has new memory board, new motor ordered, still not repaired.
What a joke used twice, very poor customer service, left with no washing facilities at this crucial time when looking after a vulnerable relative.
Words fail me looking for an immediate resolve from the MD.
Fire hazard
Terrible service , my dryer plug melted into the socket and was sparking if it wasnt for me coming home it would have lit up and after having the council round and tested !!the socket the socket was completly fine!!! and they replaced it , but beko seem to think it is not a emergency to send a engineer to come have a look so what if other people have the same model???? So your basically ok with dryers setting on fire in peoples homes are you actually joking??? I suggest someone come round and sorts this bloody 4month old dryer out
Worst washing machine ever!
Worst washing machine ever!
Leaks almost 90% of the time. Misses out rinse cycles and spin cycles. We have to re spin abou 60%of the time. The machine is 18 months old and covered in rust. With the leaking it then leaves rust marks on the floor!

I have not a cooker since Monday and a electrical engineer arrived today to fix a gas cooker. I have been on the phone to them and emailed customer services and they have taken my mobile number for somebody to ring for another slot to arranged. There is nowhere open due to COVD and my family want a proper meal.
Worst customer service I have ever had. Absolute disgrace
Worst customer service I have ever had! Our Beko fridge freezer broke down 5 days ago rung the repair department was persuaded to take out a care plan cover with a pushy Domestic and General insurance operator who said as soon as we sign up we will have a engineer out. Following call we had a text message saying that the engineer wouldn’t be out for 16 days. I rung back and complained explaining my wife is a nurse on the frontline in the Coronavirus pandemic and was working 12 hour shifts and we have two children under age of 4 in the house and don’t have a fridge freezer. They moved the engineer to come in 2 days. On that day no engineer turned up nor did anyone ring to advise of anything. Now trying to get through to someone at Beko to complain and ask when they will be out been on the phone for 90 minutes with no answer.
Absolute disgrace
washing machine not fit for purpose
Bought a beko washing machine in December 2019 since then it had developed numerous faults.
It leaks, doesn’t drain and has now destroyed itself on a spin cycle (I have videotaped it with the tremendous noise it made) ive had the repair chap out 4 times and each time on the report sent back to beko there has been nothing wrong?? So why do I have proof there is?? Now beko are trying to chase me for a repair visit, yet nothing has been repaired and it most certainly is a manufacturing fault.
I have now has to purchase a new machine (not a beko)
I will be taking this matter up with trading standards as the item most certainly is not fit for purpose.
Beko customer service tell you different things, promise to call back and don’t.
The repair team don’t repair anything but write reports saying that it is not at fault and nothing is wrong??
Just terrible I will never purchase anything from beko again.
Yesterday evening my Beko pro smart…
Yesterday evening my Beko pro smart inverter washer/dryer exploded from the inside.....or that is what it sounded like...my wife had a bedspread in it which has been washed in the machine before.......it was like the machine was trying to self destruct from the inside....it spun it's self to death...we thought it was going to shake the place to bits....the drum has dented the the case from the inside tearing the detergent box off and taking out the electric wires to the control panel which also came off leaving no lights or function....it is just 18 months old........must add this machine was not my choice it was built into the utility room when we moved into our new home.....also must add the dryer bit has never been any good so we bought a tumble dryer....not happy .
Very poor service
Very poor service. I bought Beko washing machine last year . Today my washing machine door locked unable to open it. They are clothes inside. I had Ms Patricia at 1000am and explained the suitation. No call received till 1300. I called again and spoke to Ms Patricia. She said that the line is engaged. I requested for repair service centre.
I called repair service number 62680077 and spoken to Ms Wani today. Explained the situation, reinforced the clothes are inside the washing machine. Informed I have not received any calls at all and very disappointed. She gave me appointment on April 8. The clothes have to be inside the machine for 7 days. Ms Wani is rude and Very defensive. Does not to know how to handle customer. Plus raised voice at me. Very disappointed. I will definitely not recommend beko to any one. Very slow and poor reponse
BEKO RUBBISH.
I was persuaded to buy a Beko washing machine. It is absolute rubbish. It claims an A+++ rating; THIS IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE.
The installer told me there is no hot water connection. The machine takes in cold water which, at the moment, is very cold. It then heats it, during the day at peak-rate electricity prices.
When I attempted to fill the machine with hot water from the tap, which had heated overnight at low-rate cost, the machine simply discharged it. How can that possibly be ecologically sound?
Further more, the instruction manual is almost incomprehensible.
Needless to say, I returned the machine and bought a reputable manufacture.
Awful support
Awful support. I never recommend it and will raise a claim against them in the consumer protection dept.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES
The washing machine I bought from them doesn't even wash the clothes, I've tried different settings etc but clothes come out dirty. I mostly had lightly soiled clothes for the first year & wasn't home much, but funnily, just as I missed their generous 1 year warranty, I had 2 very muddy jeans which came out exactly as they went in! AFTER 2 HOURS OF WASHING! plus my underwear all came out dirty on the delicate wash. This is made worse by Beko having awful & unhelpful customer service. They won't help at all with my consumer rights. They hung on me several times & forced me to give out my number. AVOID BEKO, THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES. I won't be buying from them again & will tell friends & family to do so also. I'm also a top market reviewer, so will be spreading the word.
Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. I had a faulty washer/dryer within warranty. Waited a week for an engineer who was sent out with the wrong parts so couldn't complete the work. I made multiple calls to BEKO and was promised call backs on 3 occasions, but they never called me back. One operator told me because the warranty ran out while waiting for parts that I would have to use my insurance - this was no true as the fault occurred within warranty. (The Insurance co & another operator confirmed this). Complaint still ongoing nearly a month later during which time I don't have a functioning washing machine. Two calls today, one call handler blamed Coronavirus other said ring back on Tuesday. Might as well take my washing down to the river as rely on BEKO to resolve this issue.
