just had a customer service person
just had a customer service person, talk over the top of me whilst trying to explain the issue, and he disregarded their responsibility saying i need to complain to the retailer, he wouldn't listen to me and actually hung up!!! I believe a condenser dryer should last longer then 20 months, noting my previous dryer which was a whirlpool lasted 10 years !!!
Im sorry to say i agree we have a Beko…
Im sorry to say i agree we have a Beko american fridge/freezer for 2 years cost when new £550. totaly went kaput and called around its going to be between £300-£500 to fix it. worst thing is we will now have to pay for someone to remove the thing aswell.
Beko = Cheap (aka dont bother)
Warning
Warning! If you want good customer service and quality products Beko are to be avoided at all costs. The cooker I bought has a hob that rusted round the edges after 2/3 years, but likely started way before that as I only noticed when the paint bubbled under the rust. I contacted their 'customer service' lol department, with pictures to back up my case. After a few exchanged emails, they posted me a replacement hob part, but refused to have it fitted. No local company would guarantee to do it. So here I am years later with a rubbish, tatty, low grade pile of junk that should never had rusted away. Hobs get spills, no hob should do as this one did. Avoid Beko at all costs and save yourself the pain of appalling items and dreadful service. Rub two sticks together and make a camp fire. Thats sure to be superior to Beko!
Truly awful customer service
Truly awful customer service. Trying to get through on the phone is a nightmare. Finally got original fault repaired after 3 months of waiting and cancellations by engineer. New fault within two days of repair and again can’t get through on phone. Have sent email - heaven know when I’ll get this fault repaired. Will never buy Beko again as their customer service is so bad.
Appalling service from Beko
Appalling service from Beko. Brand new freezer goes faulty within 2 weeks of being switched on. After waiting ages (12 minutes plus) to get through on the phone line to report the fault, they tried to sell me an extended warranty and insisted in reading the entire sales script despite me saying I did not wish to purchase - just report a fault. With very bad grace the call centre operative then put me through and a repair/service call was booked for the 11th December - 4 days hence. Today the service company that Beko use rang to say they can`t do the 11th and it will have to be the 18th. We are rejecting the goods and our faith in Beko as a company is severely undermined. 1 star is really too good for this level of customer service.
Never Buy a Beko appliance
There should be Zero star Rating available.
Never, I repeat Never buy a beko appliance.
We have a condenser tumble dryer. Has broken down 3 times in its 1st year. Leaking water, damaging a cabinet and floor. Customer service, complaints and engineer incompetent.
Warning do not buy beko appliances
Absolute terrible experience. Built in oven fitted may 2018 breaks down October 2019(oven not heating up to required temp). Engineer comes out and diagnosis problem, hasn't got parts needed so has to order them. Comes back two weeks later and says he can't get oven out far enough to fit parts.I get electrician out to sort cable. Now after 4 conversations with customer service, on each occasion them telling me engineer will call me to make appointment and no one calling on 5th conversation operator tells me he'll book me an appointment. Next week and i'v got to be in all day as they can't give me an morning slot. 6 weeks without an oven and Christmas arround the corner. This is not acceptable beko especially on an appliance that cost £400 breaking after 18 months. I will never be buying from you again.
Wouldn't even give them 1*.
Wouldn't even give them 1*.
Received a beko gas cooker on the 8th September tried to cook a meal in the main oven, it took 3 times longer than it should.
Called beko who contacted their engineers who couldn't look at it for 5 days.
When engineer came he diagnosed a faulty thermostat and had to order the part. Waited 7 days, no news. Phoned beko who phoned the engineer's office at A.N.D engineers who we later discovered are as bad as beko. They arranged to come round in 5 days, so 12 days after diagnosis. Engineer turned up asked if cooker had been used and was told 4 hours ago, he said can't do it then, cooker needs to be unused for 12 hours.
Waited 5 days no news, phoned beko again who arranged an engineer, yes you guessed it for 5 days time. The evening before he was due A.N.D phoned us to say the engineer can't make it and arranged another appointment for 3 days time.
Engineer turned up with paperwork stating that he was here to diagnose the problem, it was the engineer that originally diagnosed it, not his fault it's the office staff at A.N.D. So he went away and parts were reordered and another engineer arranged.
On the morning the engineer was going to visit he called to say between 8 and 10. 10 minutes later he called again to say can't do it as Beko have sent him the wrong parts. Waited 5 days no news phoned them again and arranged for ANOTHER Engineer.
Engineer turned up last Friday to change thermostat. Saturday tried the oven and it's exactly the same as before. Phoned beko again and was told we should get a replacement I said ok but will you connect the gas hose as I've had to pay £70 to connect it. I was told no, I said I'm not excepting that as it's through no fault of my own, why should I be out of pocket. He said he will go through ao.com where I purchased it from, I said don't bother I will.
ao.com customer service was superb she chased them up and called me straight back to say that beko wont do an exchange until an engineer has been out 4 times, I said I never asked for an exchange that was beko suggestion. Anyway an engineer was supposed to be coming out again tomorrow but A.N.D have just phoned to say they haven't got the parts, so once again I've arranged for someone to be here all day for nothing. I've also emailed beko customer service but no reply. Stay clear of beko and A.N.D Domestic ltd. Beko have spent all their money on sponsorship and have none left for their products or customer service.
Just an update after constant chasing and being told waiting for parts I've now found out A.N.D. domestic had cancelled my repair so I've had to reopen it. Engineer is now coming out on 2nd January I believe 2020. Cheese sandwiches for Christmas dinner!
Bought a BEKO freezer for my daughter…
Bought a BEKO freezer for my daughter which lasted 17 months, customer service not interested other than extorting more money.
So much for the SAD FART ruling where I quote Martin Lewis again..." Goods must be of ‘Satisfactory quality, As Described, Fit for purpose AND LAST A REASONABLE LENGTH OF TIME "
Fridge is great but the oven...
We have had a Beko fridge for the past few years. Best fridge we ever had. So when it was time to replace our oven we decided on Beko.
The oven is terrible. The metal is so thin it damaged easy via transport. Easy fix, got a replacement. Ok, so heating up the oven as you do to expell first smell etc the dials got hotter than I would have liked. Not enough to burn but enough to get a shock.
The dials are made of thin plastic and one has broken already and we haven't even used it for cooking purposes yet.
Worse customer service...………
Worse customer service...………. rubbish quality of dishwasher!
I want to speak to someone with a brain and who can actually answer a question!!!!
and not get told I cannot speak to a manager...…...AAAAAHHHHHHHHH

I was talked on the phone with two beko employees , one of them is ADRIAN and the other is KWASA !!
I haven't seen worse IGNORANT people in the whole of UK !!!!!
They did not want to accept the guarantee that I have until 2022.
Beko Terrible Company
dogs run with dogs!
we bought a beko washing machine and a beko oven on moving into our new home. from the first use the washing machine made a loud thumping sound as it went into a spin. after looking into it, we found it to be the drum being so loose that it was banging into the front door seal as it sped up. we called ao.com who we bought it from (who are now ao.com/ domestic and general (both as useless as each other!) and a beko tech was sent out from our catchment area which is Cambridge. the tech said it was the washers and replaced them but the washing machine still does the exact same thing. he then went on to try to tell me that I was overloading the washing machine with 10 small pairs of woollen socks on the wool cycle (laughable). my advise?...dogs run with dogs. meaning ao.com/ domestic and general and dolphin appliance 'care' of ely are all equally useless.
in addition to this, the beko oven hasn't stopped making a timer ringing sound every time we turn it on, when no timer is even in use! avoid all three above noted companies!
Bad Customer service, Bad products company should be closed
RE: Complaint about recent purchase of Beko s/n19-122561-09 model wtb840eiw washing machine
My name is Timothy of 14A Link Road Northampton. My wife and I recently purchased a Beko washing machine from Currys on the 1st of October 2019. This was delivered to my address on the 7th of October 2019 and installed by the Currys staff. Since then we have used the washing machine and it has produced wash loads still dirty and its putting stains that cannot be removed after complete cycles, which we have never experienced. We did not contact Currys until the 1st of November 2019 due to trying processes of elimination, that is,
- trying different cycles on the washing settings, to the high temperature settings to try and utilise the heat of the temperature as opposed to the eco washes
- using the pre-wash setting s a standard
- soaking the clothing for hours to days before washing, colours in washing powder, whites in bleach
- trying different detergents,
- washing small loads at times despite the washing machine being able to carry loads of up to 8kg
When we did contact Currys to highlight this problem we were advised to call Beko, We then called Beko only to be advised to call Currys back despite us explaining that we had already spoken with Currys. This has resulted in a lot of back and forth from us, my wife and I, to Currys and Beko with Beko eventually accepting responsibility to review the machine.
Initially when we spoke with Currys they sent their engineer from Team Know How, we later found out his sole purpose was to check the installation only. This then resulted in us having to wait for a week before getting another engineer sent from Beko. In between there was no communication from Currys or Beko and we had to always ring up and chase what was happening as we still had a washing machine not washing properly but rather staining clothes instead.
The second engineer finally came yesterday on the 19th of November, almost 3 weeks since we first highlighted the issue. Again we have had to chase the outcome of this visit as when the engineer came, we advised him of the above and were concerned as to how he would fix the problems without testing the washing machine through a full cycle to see the outcome thereof.
He advised us to change the washing product despite us informing him we already done that as part of our own diagnostics. He even commented to say that the current washing powder we were using was a cheap quality/not very good, that is, SURF..We have used SURF with our previous washing machine and had had no concerns with it until it broke down after a good 5 years of producing good washes even the short eco cycles.
He advised he would submit his report and then we would be advised of the next steps to take. I rung up to follow up on the visit to confirm the engineers input and was advised by Ameer from Beko that the report would be on file by 1100hrs Wednesday 20th November 2019.
Following on today my wife and I manged to speak to Quizer (sp). I initially spoke to him however there appeared to be a lot of miscommunication between us which was very frustrating as i felt like was not being heard or listened to. My wife then took over the call to try and mediate. On discussion with Quizer, my wife was able to explain to him that the outcome made by the engineer where he recommended that we change our washing powder did not seem fair as we had already done that prior to engineer visit and were still getting the same results Quizer admitted that the engineer did not state this in his report however stated that there was little he could do that the engineer was the person contracted by them and whatever he wrote on his report was what would be implemented.
He advised that the engineer was the one with the degree/qualification to say whether or not something had a fault despite us being the ones experiencing the dirty wash loads. The whole experience was very disheartening as at one point he asked my wife what she was expecting Beko to do about the problem?? This was shocking as if we have a problem with an appliance we expect it to be resolved for the sake of customer satisfaction..
We have a 2 month old at home and being new parents this is the last thing we need to be worrying about. This experience has been very stressful, we have not felt listened to, or felt our concerns have been validated. My wife and i were even prepared to pay more for a better appliance as we no longer have confidence in this machine. we have said this to all that we have spoken to however it is like we are being told you stuck with it, problem and all.
Quizer was now advising us that he could send another engineer, not only that, if the engineer said the exact same thing as the other we would be charged some £55 for him coming out, We have decided not to follow this route as we have no confidence in the process as seem to be getting scrip answers as opposed to someone actually trying to help and resolve this.
We will be taking this further.
I am so disappointed with my new…
I am so disappointed with my new cooker. I read all of the reviews before buying and it seemed to be well liked by others who had purchased. However, it is very inferior to my previous cooker and I really wish that I hadn't bought it. The hob is fine. Heats up quickly and is efficient, but the dials which operate the heating selection are very clunky and old fashioned. Worse still, is the dial for regulating the heat for the main oven. Because of the markings on the dial, it is impossible to select an exact heat....you cannot choose between 180 or 190 degrees for instance...it is just best guess, which really isn't good enough. The oven itself does have different usage settings, which only serve to complicate matters. Fan oven takes longer to cook that it should and fan plus above and below heating cooks too hot and too fast. In my old cooker, I was able to warm plates in top oven with the heat rising from bottom oven. This is not possible now as heat from main oven does not come through to warm top oven. The grill / top oven door does not stay open to allow for things to be put into or taken out of oven. It opens downwards and will close back up at least two thirds of the way if not actually held down. This makes it very dangerous and potential burn hazard on hands. I did not choose the cheapest cooker in the range as I wanted some level of quality. Sadly, I might just as well of taken the cheapest model as this one couldn't be much worse. I live in a very rural location, so it was my only option to order on line....for that reason, I have ended up with a cooker that I really don't like and am very disappointed in. i would definitely not recommend this cooker.
Rubbish product
Rubbish product. Unfortunately I bought a BEKO fridge. It's just over two years old. I have had to replace the two door hinges, because the metal is brittle poor quality metal. The drainage hole continually blocks.Never again.
Awful customer care
Bought a freestanding cooker about 12 weeks ago accidentally broke glass on main oven door, should be a simple fix but been waiting 10 weeks for new glass for a cooker that’s in production now. Beko have been useless can’t even guarantee me I’ll ever get the part. Hob burners take an age to stay on. First and last time I buy anything beko
