I had a terrible experience with BenefitHub that cost me both time and money.
On Tuesday, I purchased Lakers tickets through their platform in the 200-level section. About two hours later, I received a call from their team informing me that the ticket I purchased was actually fake and should not have been listed on their website in the first place.
At that point, ticket prices for the same game had already increased by over $200 due to limited availability. I explained this to their representative (Raleigh) and asked for a comparable replacement ticket in the same section, since the mistake was entirely on their end. Instead, I was only offered two options: a full refund or replacement tickets in the 300-level (nosebleeds), which is not equivalent to what I originally purchased.
To make matters worse, I felt pressured to make a decision immediately on the call, without being given time to explore options. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told no one was available and that they had all left for the day. I was then told a manager (Chad) would call me back the next morning.
It is now Friday, and I have still not received any follow-up.
Because of this situation, I was forced to repurchase tickets on another platform at a significantly higher price. BenefitHub’s error directly caused me financial loss and unnecessary stress.
At minimum, I expected them to make this right by offering a comparable ticket or some form of compensation. Instead, I received poor customer service, no accountability, and zero follow-through.
I would strongly caution anyone against using this platform for event tickets.

He was quick to respond via phone/email, clear in his speech, and helped us make a quick decision given our history with the existing insurance plan.

Melinda was attentive and checked in during the call. She let me know what she was doing during the call. The only downside was that I explained to her that my name was spelt incorrectly and receiving multiple emails with my name not corrected was not the full customer service I am used to. However, I am aware we were on the phone, and systems that has information submitted that may be difficult to change.
