We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale. That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next. We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. We want you to love riding your bike and will do our best to make sure you do.

Good product, ok customer service
Product was just a described, but the customer service rep was rather impatient and has a bad habit of talking over the customer. Product is fine, but I have no interest in using this company again.

Tried hard, but missed the point
I was connected to Ben's through an ebay link and Ben's procured from Surly a cyclocross fork. Through an email exchange, I was told that Ben's would get the fork on a Monday and it would be shipped same day and would arrive via two-day delivery on a Wed. Ben's didn't get the fork on time and it didn't get me the fork within 2 days after it was received. Ben's credited me the shipping. The far bigger problem was that the fork shown on ebay indicated it had a 1" steerer tube and the fork I received has 1-1/8" tube. Customer service after I raised that point was poor and I have never been able to figure out what went wrong.

Great selection lousy search engine.
Ben's has a great selection of product. However their search engine makes the experience almost not worth it. When I searched for handlebars and then narrowed the search the engine did not respond. When I finally did look at a particular handlebar and then went back to my search I had to start the whole search over again. Pain in the neck. This always happens.

Polo mallet for when you cant get one locally
I stumbled on to Bens Cycle to look for Hardcourt bike polo equipment as there is not a local source. I found the mallet I wanted on their mallet builder. It was in my hands in just a few days. It was packed well and with in 30 mins it was ready to tear up the court.

Searched high and low for black dia compe guidonnet brake levers. Ben's was put of stock when I first looked so I opted in to notify me when stock was available. To my pleasant surprise, Ben's actually notified me when they re-stocked. I immediately purchased them, Ben's notified me every step of the way. Great service, I'm a fan.
