Had a good experience here buying a 19 plate Ford Fiesta for my son. Booked a test drive and reserved the car online. Visited Cannock branch and were assisted by Jim who was great. The car sold its... See more

Gave a part exchange value, we then drove a 2 hr drive and when we got there we were told a £1000 less than quoted, our car was in excellent condition and very low mileage. When we queried this they said we give you a good figure just to get you down here then always give you less. Was not happy, we then turned around and drove the 2 hr back. If they were more reasonable they would have had a sale.
Bad service and bad customer care. Would not return and would not recommend.
Unacceptable Service & Defective Vehicle: Big Motoring World Enfield
I purchased a 2022 MG5 from Big Motoring World Enfield on August 16th. Despite their claims of standard 110-point checks and being an RAC Approved dealer, the vehicle was handed over to me with a completely faulty AC charging system. It is mind-boggling how a multi-point inspection on an Electric Vehicle fails to test whether the car can actually charge via AC.
To make matters worse, I was never provided with a formal State of Health (SoH) report for the battery; I was simply given verbal assurances from the salesperson that it was "completely fine."
As a professional driver who urgently needs this vehicle for my Private Hire (TfL) licensing deadline this coming Thursday, this negligence is actively threatening my livelihood. When I contacted the Enfield branch, their response was completely dismissive and lacked any urgency, acting as if selling a defective EV was not their responsibility. Because of their refusal to take immediate action, I am now forced to coordinate the repair myself at a garage to meet my deadline, incurring unnecessary stress, lost time, and potential financial cost.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a vehicle sold by a dealer must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Selling a faulty EV without proper battery health documentation is unacceptable.
A word of advice to prospective buyers: If you are buying an EV from Big Motoring World, do not accept verbal promises. Demand a full written State of Health (SoH) report and test both AC and DC charging capability yourself before completing the purchase, or you might end up in the same frustrating position.
I urge senior management to step in immediately, take full responsibility for this repair, and address this severe breakdown in service.
⚠️ LOCAL WARNING: Shocking Test Drive Experience at Big Motoring World West Malling I am posting this review to warn all local residents in West Malling, Maidstone, and the surrounding areas to think twice before wasting their time on a test drive at Big Motoring World on London Road (A20). They are putting vehicles out for customer trials that are heavily locked down, with staff who have absolutely no idea how to operate them.We recently visited this branch to test drive a Kia Niro EV. Assessing the EV health, checking the central information screen, and testing the navigation system are critical steps before committing to a major purchase. However, when we got into the vehicle, the entire infotainment system was completely locked into Valet Mode. When we asked the team to unlock it so we could inspect the vehicle's essential features, the response from the staff was utterly shocking. They simply stated they did not have the PIN number to unlock the car and left us completely unable to evaluate what we were trying to buy. This experience highlights severe flaws at the West Malling branch:
Total Lack of Pre-Sale Inspections: They boast about comprehensive vehicle checks, yet they fail to perform a basic electronic factory reset or master profile wipe before handing keys over to potential buyers.Complete Incompetence: Instead of resolving the issue or contacting technical support to clear the locked screen, the sales team simply shrugged it off, showing zero care or basic technical knowledge of the cars on their lot.
Wasted Time: We were expected to consider purchasing a high-value electric vehicle without being allowed to verify the state of the EV battery management menus or core technology.Save yourself the frustration and time. If a dealership cannot even unlock a car for a test drive, you can only imagine how shocking their service becomes after they have your money. Take your business to a local dealership that actually knows how to prepare and present their vehicles properly.
My Nissan leaf was reasonably priced compared to similar cars of the same grade from other dealers. Speacial thanks to Stacey for helping sort out my warranty subscription.

Very disappointing and unprofessional treatment after purchasing a car. The JLR specialist garage confirmed that the necessary work required 5 hours of labour, and the invoice was around £1,200. Big Motoring World, however, reduced the approved labour time to just 2.7 hours without providing any explanation, and ultimately approved only £345.
I asked two or three times for an explanation as to why this decision had been made, but my questions were simply ignored. Many of my other emails were also ignored, and on several occasions I had to wait 10–14 days for a response.
What I found particularly disappointing was the way they spoke about the prices charged by JLR. I was told that JLR garages have “inflated” prices and was advised to look for a small, cheap local garage instead. We are talking about a 2021 Land Rover Discovery, a technically advanced premium vehicle, not a car where the priority should simply be finding the cheapest possible garage. I was also told that genuine parts were too expensive and was given a calculation based on cheaper aftermarket alternatives.
I consider this approach completely unprofessional and unfair. A company should not simply reduce the justified labour time without explanation, ignore a customer’s repeated requests for clarification, or encourage the owner of a premium vehicle to use the cheapest possible garage simply to reduce their costs.
This will be my last visit to Big Motoring World. Never again. The whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. After buying a premium vehicle, I expected professional customer service and a responsible approach. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
Unfortunately we found our sales advisor aggressive and confrontational and not accepting of our decision to purchase the car we had chosen by cash without any extras. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

3 miles into driving the car away and parking up I can no longer get the car into gear to move it, it's been a hassle to get the car moved to the point I have had to take it upon myself to organise this !
First of all I cannot thank enough how amazing everyone is. First of all on arrival Karim greeted us with an amazing professional attitude and was so kind and reassuring for myself and my partner today. He took his time, he was so clear and always had a ready to help attitude which honestly meant a lot especially since myself and my partner was answering all the questions. Thank you so much Karim and you’re an amazing sales person with your jokes and making us laugh. Second of all, the second amazing person who honestly saved my day and worked so hard to leave me a happy woman was the amazing Camila, her hard work, her determination, her excellent communication she is the best and she worked so so hard and she is truly amazing at her job and deserves a raise! I cannot thank her enough when I struggled so much today with finance and she reassured me, helped me, honestly she is the best! Because of these two special people, i have left a very happy woman with an amazing car! Karim and Camila special thank you with all my heart❤️ I also want to say thank you so much to Nathan as well for reassuring, taking the time even coming in to help us even in the rain to help us with the car even though he did not need to, excellent customer service and runned it all smoothly, amazing team and it’s been an experience!

Sales staff AJ was brill.
However after i left,i called to change a car delivery from another site to purchaseing one i had test deive that day.
My car was put in my husbands name as he wrote his name in a postcard when we arrived. Enough thought I did the test drive. Payment link sent to him not me. They didn't transfer my details from another car I was looking at the one I was collecting lots of young staff. AJ was great though. Staff look bored and told a guy on the phone managers are not here to speak too. Which was not true, we saw managers. It look over an hour to pick up the new car.
Bought a Kia Niro Hybrid in June 2026, however 5 weeks after purchase both rear discs were excessively corroded and pads were well worn, got in touch with their warranty and refused to help in any way possible, so I paid for the repair myself. 2 weeks ago I traveled to Southampton and the car lost power in the right hand lane on the motorway (which nearly caused an accident as the car went from 70-35mph instantly). When I was setting off for the journey home 2 days later the engine light came on and the car was making noises, so I pulled over and refused to drive it. It took me and my family almost 17hrs to get back home ( broke down at 10:35am and got home around 3:00am.
The RAC patrol reported that the car was unfit to drive as it had a faulty gearbox, bare in mind the car is 4yrs old and had 32,000 miles when purchased.
For this to happen there must have been a hidden fault that has been missed!
I have been requesting a refund for 2 weeks with no joy, just getting passed around. I have also refused a repair as me and my family do not feel safe in the car. I am currently being messed around and I am having to chase them for updates.
I would advise to stay clear of this dealership.
I bought a VW Up from this branch 2 weeks ago and the near front indicator failed within a week. I noticed a spare bulb was in the glovebox. These bulbs are sold in pairs so I suspected that it was a new bulb inserted by them/RAC when the car was prepared. A new bulb blowing within a week suggests an underlying electrical issue (my last VW had the same indicator bulbs for 20 years). Sure enough, I took the car to Halfords to check the bulb and they found that the socket was broken and they had attempted to glue it to bluff it through the sale. See attached photo. Supergluing a bulb into a broken fitting to force a sale!!
That’s shockingly dishonest and, to make matters worse, they then ignored repeated requests to address the issue on their RAC warranty ap. They just never confirm the booking so it times out. I then telephoned the warranty people and they said sockets and bulbs are not covered.
So I would advise not buying a car from them (unless you want failed parts to be glued together) and, if you do, absolutely DO NOT sign up for an extended warranty. THE WARRANTY IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON.
I am taking these people to court for multiple breaches of the Consumer Credit Act. They think it's OK to sell faulty vehicles and then to tell lies about your rights.
Callum was very knowledgeable and tranparent to us, gave us time to think and browse other vehicles on site. It's just a shame that the vehicle we wanted is supplied with one key only otherwise we have proceeded withg the purchase.
