Totally unhelpful and rude
Totally unhelpful and rude, phoned as my daughter had managed to lose her locking wheel nut and was told the only way they could help is if we brought the car to them, as I pointed out the tyre had split and was not drivable there response was basically tough what do you expect us to do about it, so when I suggested I get the car onto a transporter to them im told no don't bother without booking it in as there was not much space. I know today has been hottest day this year and everyone is a little frazzled but this guys whole demeanour was one of im going to call you sir but make your life as difficult as possible. I own and drive a Hyundai as does my daughter will never buy from this place again. Its strange isn't it when you want to buy a car the fall over backwards but when there is a problem you just become a pain

Regardless of the circumstances, we should always strive to be helpful, professional and empathetic, especially when a customer is dealing with an unexpected issue that has left their vehicle undriveable.
Whilst there may have been practical challenges in accommodating the vehicle at short notice due to workshop capacity and site constraints, I would certainly expect us to explain this clearly and respectfully whilst exploring any options available to assist. From your description, it is clear that we did not leave you with that impression, and for that I apologise.

I had a warranty claim and the help line gave me an appointment 3 months in the future. Outside the warranty period. Same for other Brayleys. When I walked into the service centre they were much more helpful and fitted me in within 10 days and were pleasant to deal with. Its bad enough to have a warranty issue, but poor service on top will make me think twice before buying Hyundai again. This had also happened approx a year ago, so its not a one off. Also you need to sort out customer parking. Its hairy squeezing round all the parked cars.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience when initially trying to arrange an appointment for your warranty concern. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to be offered an appointment several months away, particularly when dealing with a fault on a vehicle that was still within its warranty period.
That said, I'm pleased to hear that when you spoke directly with our Service Team, they were able to assist, bring your appointment forward and provide a more positive experience. It's encouraging to hear that the team were helpful and pleasant to deal with, although I appreciate this does not undo the frustration caused by the initial booking process.
Please be assured that warranty eligibility is determined by when a concern is reported, rather than the date of the appointment itself, so customers are not disadvantaged simply because workshop availability is limited. However, I fully accept that long lead times are far from ideal, and we continue to work hard to improve capacity and reduce waiting times.
I'm also sorry to hear your comments regarding parking. We recognise that the site can become congested at busy times and have introduced a parking attendant to help customers navigate the site safely and efficiently, but I appreciate that this doesn't completely remove the challenges posed by a busy dealership.

New premises very difficult to find.
Was told couldn’t wait on premises but was not offered a loan car or pick up & delivery. Only found out this service was offered the day before! Car has been returned with a warning light on which I now have to deal with
Car was not cleaned at all! Very disappointing service. Wasn’t too happy when I bought the car two years ago- never got a courtesy call/email asking how I was finding my new car. In fact no after sales at all in 2 years apart from service call. Will be looking to change the car but will not use this dealership

I'm particularly concerned to hear that your vehicle was returned with a warning light illuminated. Regardless of any other aspects of your visit, this is clearly not the standard we would expect, and I would encourage you to contact us directly so that we can investigate and resolve this for you as quickly as possible.
I'm also sorry that you found our new premises difficult to locate and that you were not made fully aware of the transport options available to you. We do offer collection and delivery, as well as courtesy vehicles subject to availability, and it is disappointing to hear that these options were not clearly communicated when your appointment was arranged.
I appreciate your comments regarding vehicle cleaning. Whilst we have taken the decision to discontinue our complimentary wash and vacuum service as part of a wider environmental initiative to reduce water, chemical and energy consumption, I recognise that this represents a change from what many customers have enjoyed previously and understand your disappointment.
I'm equally sorry to hear your comments regarding your original purchase experience and the lack of follow-up communication thereafter. We always want our customers to feel valued throughout their ownership journey, not just at the point of sale, and it is disappointing to learn that this has not been your experience.
