They are the mafia. Buy 'toxic debt' of money that never existed in the first place for a few pennies in the pound when the contract/agreement has already been securitized.
In olden time - debt buying was banned under common law (as was usury) - now we have moneymakers all over the show - and the dumbos giving 5* reviews either work at Cabot or don't understand how the financial system works. They are Parasitic scum.

What was initially a very stressful and anxious time Cabot worked with me to help me repay my outstanding debt, I no longer filled with dread when my phone rung. Every team member I came in to contact with help me and insured my payments were manageable and my long term goal was achievable. I’m really grateful that my debt was passed on to Cabot and not a company that hounded me to breaking point, I can confidently say I’ve cleared my debt and am back on track, thank you guys for getting me through this difficult time !

When will these companies learn. Once an agreement is in place, STOP sending mail & messages. It brings the horror back that we all have to face when admitting our problems - we don’t need to re-live it every month or even quarter! Every email, letter & or text from Cabot makes your heart stop - you start to panic that they are gonna ask you to re-evaluate your income or repay more and the cycle starts again. These people have obviously never had money troubles.

Cabot are not like the debt collectors of old, the type hat would sign u up to a plan that was hard to maintain. This company made my payments affordable and they were really nice to del with on the phone.

I contacted the company regarding my account and spoke to Miko . He was polite, professional, and respectful throughout the conversation. He explained the situation clearly, answered my questions patiently, and communicated in a calm and understanding manner. I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to discuss the matter respectfully.

They have brilliant customer service.everyone I have dealt with over the phone has been genuinely nice,they ring you once ,twice a year to check that everything is still ok for you,and go through your finances with you.then they leave you to it.its taken me a long long time to become debt free ,and the advisor on the phone congratulated me on achieving this.i felt so relieved.i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in "money troubles.
I was very upset to get into this situation(through no fault of mine)and Cabot were brilliant,talking me through everything and setting a realistic payment plan,which I managed every month and was even able to increase over time.thank you.
