Our model is unique in that our focus has always been on providing our customers with the personalized, thoughtful help and advice of an appliance specialist. Whether online or in-store, CAS customers receive knowledgeable advice, expert service, and quality appliances at exceptional prices. Our goal is to leave each customer with the certainty they made the right choice buying from us.

Now with more than 40 locations, our mission has grown to be the largest national appliance retailer in Canada. However, we will be a coast-to-coast retailer with a difference: we will still offer each customer that same personalized advice and unique in-store experience. We will do this by maintaining the exemplary level of training each sales associate receives; we will do this by ensuring every member of the CAS team shares our values of respect, responsibility, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We will do this by empowering everyone in our company to provide our customers with the expertise they deserve. CAS has always stood apart from the competition, and as we grow, we will continue to do so. We now have the resources, the ability, and most importantly, the drive to be the best appliance retailer in Canada.

Although we have grown in size, we have never lost our focus on creating our unique, customer-centric, in-store experience. strong dent on the door for brand-new item and their poor cs

I had a very disappointing experience with Canadian Appliance Source.

After receiving my brand-new refrigerator, I discovered a large dent on the front door. I contacted Customer Service expecting assistance, but instead the representative became argumentative and even asked if I "didn't understand what they were saying."

I was told my only options were a 10% discount or waiting approximately two days for a return or exchange. When I explained that this was my only refrigerator and asked what I was supposed to do with all of my food during that time, I was simply told, "I don't know."

I then requested to speak with a supervisor. The representative claimed they were the manager and that there was nobody above them I could speak to. The salesperson who sold me the refrigerator also refused to help and told me to deal only with Customer Service.

Although the company has since arranged for LG to replace the damaged door, I find it extremely disappointing that a brand-new appliance requires a major exterior component to be replaced immediately after delivery. I purchased a brand-new refrigerator, not one that needed a service appointment and repairs on day one.

Mistakes can happen, and damaged products are understandable. What is not acceptable is dismissive, unprofessional customer service, refusing to escalate a customer's concerns, and failing to provide a practical solution for a customer who has no refrigerator to store food.

Because I do not believe this matter was handled appropriately, I have also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Ontario Consumer Protection. I hope the company reviews both its quality control and customer service practices so future customers do not have to go through the same experience.

I expected much better support after spending thousands of dollars on a new appliance.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Canadian Appliance Source. I would strongly encourage prospective customers to consider other retailers.

We are sorry to hear that your LG refrigerator arrived with a dent on the door. Appliances identified as damaged should be refused with the delivery team upon arrival.

Canadian Appliance Source receives all products directly from the manufacturer in their original packaging.

Because we do not sell refurbished appliances, we have no way of knowing if an item has sustained concealed damage prior to delivery.

In this case, the refrigerator was accepted and signed for.

Since you declined the compensation offer presented by our Customer Care team, you were guided to our Return and Exchange Department.

Our Return Department replied to your email requesting a door replacement and has scheduled a service appointment with the manufacturer for July 17th.

Despite our team scheduling this service, you requested additional compensation.

We believe our team has assisted you to the best of its ability and, per your request, has arranged to have the door replaced.

Consequently, we will not offer further compensation.

This same response will be shared on the Better Business Bureau platform.
