Jimmy is a Credit to Cannon Hygiene!

Our Dental Practice uses Cannon Hygiene ( used to be Initial) Jimmy from the Belfast branch visits every 2 weeks, he is always friendly, helpful and extremely reliable. We always look forward to seeing him and always have time for a quick chat, we can’t keep him too long as we know he has a busy schedule to keep.
We get an excellent service from Cannon Hygiene of which Jimmy is a credit!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would not recommend

We opened a new business in 2019 and have a customer toilet. Someone from Citron called and persuaded us to sign up for a 3 year contract to provide a sanitary bin and empty it once a month. I did ask for a 1 year contract but 3 years is their minimum, I should have stopped it there.

We've now been open for almost a year and they've attended maybe 3 times, once they've tried to attend while we were not even open (we had told them our opening hours at the start and even after a recent email exchange they still attended before we were open). So best case they've tried to attend 4 times.

We've been closed due to Covid-19 lockdowns for 3 months so there are 5 other months that we never heard from them at all. I even had to empty the bin once myself as it started to smell.

I asked to stop our contract after one year and explained the situation, that they've not up held their part of the contract, but they just ignore that fact and just keep saying we signed up for 3 years. They don't even acknowledge the issues. Talking to them is very frustrating.

I'm tempted to just pay the full contact and use someone else. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

linked company to inital.. AVOID all!

Small business with hand towels, minor issues from start with not turning up to change towels. From March to June we were closed due to COVID, still had to pay even thought no services used in this time. Major issues getting towels changed once open in June, even though it was so important due to the pandemic. I requested to leave in June and awaited a call back for over a month, which never came even after many calls myself. I was awaiting a call from Joel Madden, I finally refused to hang up till I had spoken to him. Again promised a call back, still had to call back. In July I was told I had to give 3 months notice, I complained as had been attempting to contact all of June! After more calls from myself I was allowed a 1 month notice and advised towels to be removed by the 8/8/20 or last change day. They should have been removed on 5/8/20 however the person who arrived had no idea and would not removed. I had to rearrange installation of hand dryers for the following week, in the mean time spending fortunes on blue roll for hand drying. Called again, advised would be removed the next week, I called the monday 10/8 to ensure they would be removed this week. I called again Wednesday morning and was told no they were not being removed that day and had no idea when they could, I was advised that it was being escalated as a complaint. I rearranged my hand dryers again for the next week and ordered more blue roll. The following week I called for check up on when can remove and complaint. Again advised they had no idea when it would be removed but not until at least 21st, I advised i had to remove them now as i could not rearrange my electrician again and our children return the next week so it must be done or we could not open. I advised I would have to get someone to remove and I would be sending the invoice to them, and I was given an email address to send the invoice.
Once removed sent invoice to address given, ignored, 4 calls later I am promised another call back, to recieve an email saying ' no we wont pay your choice to remove'
It was not my choice to spend hours on the phone chasing and chasing to remove your product, I gave ample opportunity to remove themselves at no cost and they didn't turn up.
They almost left a small business caring for young children unable to open. They lie and just don't bother calling people back. I did not want to resort to posting a bad review as I have give them at least 20 chances to sort the complaint. I head any business thinking of using this company and their other companies Rentokil and Cannon AVOID at all costs, they are relativity helpful until you ask to leave and then they completely ignore you.

Worse company ever to work for

Worse company ever to work for. I would advise anyone who is looking to work for citron to stay well clear. I worked for these for 3 months after being taken on. Just to be layed off and left stranded in croyden just to be told I was no longer needed. They dont care about there employees. Just bothered about you being out on the road. Got no respect for anyone. Even speak to you like crap. They are just a money grabbing company . Even to the point they dont like paying you. There are companys that I know of that have got a contract with these who are paying for a service that doesn't exist,I shall be letting these customers know aswell...as they are paying for a service that isnt being run properly.

Scammers!!

I am writing this review as i am furious with this company. 5 year ago we was forced into a contract that I was told that it was a quote and there policy was to sign quotes which this wasn’t as they then invoiced me. 5 years later due to everything going on they have now put us into a second contract without a exit! This company is nothing but a scam company!! Avoid at all costs

DISGRACEFUL

DISGRACEFUL. 10 missed collections in just over a year. Over four months since our sanitary bins were last emptied!!! Rang customer service several times just to fobbed off with promises of an ‘escalated service and pick up the next day which doesn’t happen and then when you call back they tell you there is no record of your last call even when you give names of who you have already spoken to! Never experienced anything like it. Tomorrow I will be ringing trading standards for your breech of the consumer rights act as you don’t seem to be able to get your act together and collect your bins and I now seeking advice on how to proceed further. Asked for cancellation of contract several times and keep getting billed. LAUGHABLE JOKE OF A COMPANY.

Feminine hygiene bins visibly overflowing, uncollected since early October (now December) and not for the first time; this is a record I'm sure you will break again and again, just like the promises to improve.
A master class in incompetence and unaccountability.

Absolutely dire service I have been…

Absolutely dire service I have been requesting my waste to be collected for the past 8 weeks, I have made numerous phone calls to be told our systems have changed. I was sent a new registration form to complete which had already been filled in by Merseyside Police! Then sent a blank one to complete , the lady Diane who was dealing with me then went on holiday and promised my bag would be collected .... no collection again spoke to another person who said my bag was pencilled in for next weeks collection.... no collection again I then sent my opening hours to Diane stating I am closed on Monday. She then told me it would be collected on Monday !!!!! I had to cancel and reschedule..... still no collection. Totally incompetent and appalling customer service.

Other providers are better!!!

Cannon has always treated dental practices as a cash cow. They offer a strict service and are least flexible. We had 2 dental Practices with cannon and changed both to albus. Complaint made but slow resolution. I don’t think bad people but just overwhelmed by too much work.

I have a regular lady who does my store…

I have a regular lady who does my store and she is so consistent unfortunately I don't know her name but I never have an issue and we seem to have a system that works round the needs of my store.
