Abysmal service from Cannon
Abysmal service, no pick up at all in September, orange bags piling up in my clinic and sharps bins nearly full. I’ve called four times last week alone (it’s now late October) and twice been promised call backs that never happened. Not sure what purpose customer services serves as they always say it’s someone else in the organisation who needs to deal with it. Fuming, I’ll be after a refund for last month and changing to PHS/Biffa/anyone else.

We apologise that that your recent experience has not been acceptable.
You may be aware that Rentokil Initial (RI) wholly acquired Cannon Hygiene in 2018. Following a detailed CMA investigation, it was agreed that RI would divest a significant number of customers to Citron Hygiene with effect from 1 October 2019. This has now happened so from 1 October 2019 your sites will either be serviced by us, Citron Hygiene, or by Rentokil Initial – Cannon Hygiene no longer service any customers and over time all visible assets (such as uniforms, products and vehicles) will change to either Citron Hygiene or RI. Please check your paperwork to see which company is servicing you. If it is Citron Hygiene, I apologies for the issues you are experiencing and will now ensure this is put right immediately. If you are now serviced by RI, you will need to make contact with the separately.

worst waste collection agency I’ve ever been with
It has been an uphill struggle to arrange any sort of collection. There is no communication at all. It is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing. It takes up to 2 weeks to get any sort of recourse on ordering a collection and even then the drivers turn up on the wrong day without any notification. If I had known how bad this was going to be I would have avoided at all costs. Please don’t pay the duty of care and go with someone else instead.

I've had great experiences with Cannon Hygiene. They are quick to response to enquiries. Get Engineers out to fix issues and the service engineers/technicians turns up like clock work to change the bins and restock. our account manager Lucy Leadbetter is a great help, she responses quickly to my enquiries and provides what I need.
