Very helpful when they pointed out that I had my out of date licence and not my new licence.
They advised to contact the DVLA and obtain paper copy. Crisis over.

Web site easy to use. Booking easy.
Rental Company was good and easy to collect car.
Would check which rental supplier you will be using and check their reviews. Some are better than others. Our one was fine.

Rental price was good and in the end everything went well.

At the beginning I had difficulties to get a receipt - I got link to web site, but there wasn't needed documents. Helpdesk replied quickly and it turned out that it will took some time before get those.

Very efficient at the arrival desk. Directed to the car which was available and clean. The whole process took no more than 15 minutes. Very polite, helpful and efficient.

They should allow customers to extend their rental up to any point. I needed to extend it less than 72 hours before the rental and wasn't allowed.

I booked and paid to hire a car from this company months in advance and provided all the personal data required. On the day of collection, I didn’t have a pin for my credit card. I did have other ways to pay but their rules are simple: no pin, no hire, no refund. Not even prepared to offer any alternative like a credit note, voucher, offer of half the money back or free chocolate. They just took the money. Customer service aren’t providing any service, they just repeat and repeat the rule. I was called a ‘Refund Chaser’. Nice eh? So pretty dreadful frankly. Carrentals.co.uk and Rentalcars.com and any other company associated are to be avoided. Go direct to Avis or similar.

We were completely satisfied with the service and the guidelines that were given. We hope to use carental again in the future.

I booked a Renault Espace or similar in Carrentals Standard category for a recent trip to Spain. On arrival the hire company OK mobility stated it wasn't available and gave me a VW Caddy. This is in Carrentals Compact category.
I had no choice but to take the car.
I followed this up with Carrentals.co.uk who said they are only obliged to provide a similar car.
A Renault Espace is not similar to a VW Caddy. One is a car, the other is a van.
I'm not sure of the relevance of having a Category when you aren't guaranteed a vehicle from within this category.
Be cautious when booking through Carrentals.co.uk

As a first time renting a car with carrentals i was so satisfied by the service and the service which was conforme as the description. The after sales service support was also professional and attentive.

In an industry where finding good deals is tricky, car rentals provided a service that offered good prices and a customer service that was very helpful when we decided to change the car we initially opted for. The money back guarantee 48 hours before collection was honoured and the refund processed as promised. Would recommend this company and will certainly use again.

After some bad experiences with other car rental companies, I was a bit scared renting with carrentals.co.uk, but there was no need for. I booked a car with them at Ibiza, it was the best rate I could find on internet. I booked the car 2 days before the rental period, received the conformation within a few minutes. The pick up location was indicated very well. I took the full insurance and had no discussion about that with the rental company (Click rent, which was also very good). Received a very good and brand new car.

Really good price, service & easy to use. Great location to collect car. Only issue we had was the car rental voucher email did not arrive and I had to chase this up. But once chased up they sent it no problem. We were very happy with our car.

I am very disappointed in Carrentals. NEVER rent a car from Carrentals.
Let me explain the situation. I booked, insured, and paid for a rental car to be picked up at Cluj-Napoca Airport. Due to a flight delay, we arrived late and were not there at the agreed-upon time. We called Carrentals, but they were only reachable in English. Carrentals came to the airport, but the car we had arranged was already rented out to someone else. They forced us to pay an additional 235.61 euros for a car upgrade. We had booked a hotel 30 km away. We were pressured into taking the car.
We are extremely angry. We want our money back. It is not our fault that the flight was delayed and Carrentals was not reachable. Besides, we had rented, insured, and paid for the car. Who has the right to re-rent "our car"? Even if the car sits in the parking lot the whole week, I rented that car. Again, NEVER rent a car from Carrentals.

Nice and clean cars, quick service, shuttle bus from the airport. Only thing to look out for is that driving back to their parking lot is a bit tricky.

Everything was worry free. I took the car from the airport i return it there without any issues, delays and extra charges
