Really Bad

Really bad. Went to pick the car up. The back seat was moldy and was told to go down to the car wash a mile down the road and they’ll sort it. The guy from the garage left us before we’d even insured it and started it up. Never said anything just drove off. We’d no paperwork at this stage , no service history nothing. It was advertised having a full service history. When we rang to ask for the paperwork they said we can find the last service that we have done so we’ll post it to you. Nothing has arrived. Now in the process of taking matters further. Leave this place well alone !!!!

Sold me a broken car

Absolute disgrace of a company , they sold me a Nissan 370z which has a faulty transmission, broken clutch and thurst bearing which is going to cost thousands to repair , they clearly knew about this issues but have covered them up , they are refusing me to take the car back or pay for the fix and are ignoring my emails , do not recommend buying anything from this company !

Sadly I have to say I’m disgusted with the lack of service from this company. I strongly recommend that you do not do business with them, they just don’t care. I purchased a van off them a couple of weeks ago. I travelled two hours for the purchase. Whilst driving back home I had more lights than a Christmas tree. The ABS light came on, traction control light, plus the handbrake light. It then started to rain, so I put the wipers on. No rubber on the windscreen wipers. Plus maybe on a two hour drive it would have been nice to have radio/music on, no luck with that either as the media screen isn’t working. This means no radio or phone connection! Also the front and rear parking sensors aren’t working. To be fair the body work and the drive of the actual vehicle was good. I took the van to my usual garage as, no surprise the vehicle hadn’t been serviced for two years. They found loose wires under the van, hence all the lights. Also why hill assist won’t work.. They advised to have a vehicle electrician look at all the faults. The next day the van was booked in at ford to look at the media unit plus a recall that was outstanding. Te cost of the media unit alone was over £500. Already replaced the wipers, I had to cut one off as was attached with a cable tie. I was also sold a van with a tow bar and electrics. There are no electrics, so was miss sold. Also the electric window switch comes loose in your hand. I gave the company two days to get back to me on Sunday evening, no surprise I haven’t heard a thing. Today I will be completing my paperwork to take them to court and will also be reporting them to trading standards. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY CAN’T BE TRUSTED AND THEY DON’T CARE

Bought a car

Bought a car. June 2022.

Before travelling up from South of Birmingham I asked for honesty in any mechanical and aesthetic issues with the car.

I was kindly met at the station and driven around for 10 minutes before being able to test drive myself.

I was surprised how little Mohammed the salesperson knew about this car. He didn't seem to have done his homework on features, so I had to assume the standard equipment was all working and I could work it out later. (Stop/Start, aux/audio-in etc).

I lifted the bonnet to explore a burning smell to see that the foam insulation on the engine cover underside had carbonised. He tried to tell me he'd never noticed the burning smell!

He showed me the MOT from a few weeks previously. And took me round the corner to a mechanic who was reassuring about the injector seals (the burning smell) being safe enough to get me back South (it was bank holiday weekend).

I found that the rear wiper didn't work, something else he could have openly declared (but not an MOT issue).

Since the purchase I got the copper injector seals done as expected. The radio that was tuned to Sunrise in Bradford, but will not pick up any station on any wavelength, even parked next to a mast in Worcestershire. The Start/Stop doesn't work at all. I also had to get front and rear break pads and disks replaced (at 1mm and less, and the disks being very gouged), these weren't on the MOT advisory as you'd expect for that amount of wear! In getting the breaks done I look for the wheel locking nut key - can't find it. Not in the glove box, pull out all the tools and the spare wheel - no? The handbook tells me it should be in the centre of the spare. I call Mohammed, he tells me it should be in the car. And "are you sure it has locking nuts?" (Looking at the handbook) "yes" I say. I go to take a photo of the wheel hub with the nut for the mechanic to see if he has something to take them off and realise Mohammed had sold me a car with too few wheel nuts in each wheel! FFS!

There's nothing 'wize' about this car dealer. I feel lucky to be alive after having been sent down the M6 in a death trap. There's nothing worse than dishonesty after being asked to come clean. He obviously knew what he'd done, he knew not only it didn't have locking nuts, it had eight nuts missing! Eight out of twenty!

I know the bank transfer took longer than expected, but in hindsight, his eagerness to run off to Friday prayers now looks suspicious and hypocritical. I am angry. The drug dealers in Bradford care more about the lives of their customers (they understand the importance of return business and reputation) than this car dealer. Once bitten.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We bought a VW POLO from this excuse of a car dealer 10 months ago for £2600. To date we have spent more than this getting the car road worthy as its a absolute death trap. This company needs to be shut down as they are putting peoples lives at risk.
We are going to report them and hope they get ivestigated.

DO NOT USE!!!

Absolutely awful service and NO car! Paid a deposit over two weeks ago. Had to pay £100 to hire a rental as was told it wouldn’t be ready for a week. Then told it would take another week because the part was delayed. So rented a car for another £100 for another week. No contact no communication. Had to constantly chase for updates to be told they don’t have the equipment to fix the car and would be another month! Before the car would be ready. Could not offer any compensation. DO NOT USE!!!!

Steer clear of this company!!!

Brought car for here and the fuel pump went the next day. Was just told to deal with warranty people and they wasn’t interested in helping what so ever. Warranty didn’t cover fully cost and I was left with the rest of the bill. Don’t expect to be putting car in garage the next day when I’ve just spent 8 and half grand. These cars are advertised as full aa checks done on them. I don’t believe it and I would fully steer clear of this company! Poor customer service and rip off merchants

car not fit for purpose

Bought a car on the 29/07/2020 online CX5. By 1/09/2020 there was a malfunction error on the instrument panel. contacted the vendors who referred to the warranty as a first step. called AA warranty who booked me into a garage about 20 miles from me. i took the car to the mechanic who diagnosed a DPF sensor and DPF fault. AA the told me that the level of cover the vendor purchased for the car does not cover DPF sensor and DPF. i was then asked to pay mechanic £60 for diagnostics before car will be released. went back to the vendors to explain to them what has happened and if they can reimburse my £60 and come and get the car fixed. They have been uncooperative . all this issues happened barely a month into car ownership. surely one would have thought they would have been selling something fit for purpose. The car was dirty when delivered. and it also feels like brake pads are coming to the end of its usefull life. i have contacted trading standards about this cowboys. car looked at by a very competent mechanic arranged by their AA warranty who diagnosed a faulty DPF sensor leading to DPF not regenerating. AA warranty have said to me that they will not be making the repairs as the level of warranty cover for vehicle (purchased by vendor-- vanwise/carwise) does not cover any DPF issues. replaced DPF sensor myself and two codes seem to have disappeared but not the high sooth content. so will need the DPF cleaned. and this people are claiming its my fault; how is a faulty DPF sensor which quite clearly have caused a failed regeneration my fault. It seems to me that there is a new trick that anything to do with DPF issues is always the drivers fault. immediately prior to this issue developing i have driven myself and family on a shop break to tenby doing over 150 miles return trip on motorway. and i dare add there was no warning of DPF regeneration issues; just a DPF malfunction suddenly appearing.

Having bought an Evoque car just over a week ago,I have had to buy two new tyres as both rear ones had at least two slow punctures each.
After collecting from Kwik fit I was informed that all the brake pads needed replacing. Getting a second opinion I then took it to my trustworthy mechanic who also agreed so in total it has cost me over £550, not sure what happened to all the checks supposedly done before you drive away( the 10 point check) I would have thought brakes would have been an integral part of this. Really happy (so far 😀)

Having seen a real mix of reviews, I was a little apprehensive buying a car from carwise.

Whilst it’s only been a few days since I purchased a car from them, I’ve no complaints.

The salesman (Sean)I dealt with wasn’t pushy at all, was happy to answer any questions I had, and generally really helpful.

When I emailed Sean to requesting a copy of a document that I didn’t have, he sent it to me almost immediately.

Poor experience

The salesman all but refused to acknowledge me, but had no problem addressing the two men I was with. He spoke over me, ignored my questions and when challenged about an inconsistency, said "look, I don't want to be rude but it's not my fault" at the top of his voice.
Customer Service poor
Assumed he could rip me off, charge £11k for a car not worth more than £9k and expect me not to realise he increased the price? Have a chuckle
