The only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is that once FSCS had approved my claim, the fee to CK was quite a lot of money. BUT: 1) The fee was the same as agreed at the beginning of the process. 2) I wasn't asked to pay anything until the FSCS had agreed and paid my compensation. 3) I couldn't have done this alone - if it wasn't for CK's work I would not have received a penny.

The company most successfully retrieved precious savings that had been misused by maverick stockbrokers. The loss of this money was painful and we had accepted that it could never be returned to us. However, the very courteous experts at Cavendish Kane achieved the totally unexpected and regained the full amount within a short space of time. We were updated most frequently on the progress of the claim and every step of the progression was explained through email and by regular telephone calls.
This is a most trustworthy and dedicated company and their services come highly recommended, indeed.

On the whole the process worked well. I was informed of what was required at the key points and when I did have questions, they were usually answered swiftly.

My only criticism would be of duplication on the part of Cavendish Kane. There were times when I was asked to produce documentation which I had already sent, seemingly as one person took over the case from another and wasn't au fait with all that had been done already.

Generally happy though, and I look forward to a successful conclusion of the second part of my case against Central Markets.
