Totally unacceptable

Paid £200 of £435, with agreement to pay balance two weeks later. Tried to agree a later date they weren't prepared to listen, then added £208 in charges!!
Don't want to listen or appreciate circumstances and verge on bullying boy tactics.

Disgusting and unhelpful customer service

Set up a payment plan for a fine provided expenditures and paid the initial payment would not let me set up a direct debit or re-occurring card payment, the 2nd payment was due and missed due to not having the client reference number called a number of times and constantly busy so never got through. 2 weeks late with the payment and they sent a collections officer around no pre warning fine was £170 they have placed a charge of £400 to clear it or repossession. Managed to get through to the call centre and the rudest agent refunded to help or listen his attitude was disgraceful before we even got through security vile company and extremely unhelpful. Refuses to set up a payment plan

Disgusting

I had a visit whilst working away from home. Contacted by WhatsApp the following day by surname Willington. I explained a little about my mental health condition due to trauma meaning I do not open post or answer phone. However I was prepared to sort the matter. Instead of any empathy whatsoever I was met with sarcasm and threats throughout the conversation like he just couldn't help himself. Threats to remove my car, he hadn't even done any homework on the fact it is a lease, threat to remove goods, inoffered over my 2nd hand furniture. Threats to enter my home regardless ....... all.this despite me saying I would sort it, infantilising and discrimination, treated like a criminal, not training in customer service, no respect, no empathy shown, just a way to continue lining his pockets. Requested a change of agent, no go! I have no debts, I've never been in trouble with the police, told to prove my disabilities...... even employers never ask for that, assumed that family would pay my debt ...... even though I said I would sort it. All WhatsApp info is now stored and a complaint will be made..the only saving grace was the person I spoke to at the office was pleasant and could.not comment on the agents disgusting behaviour. Willington will only be pleased to hear his behaviour has triggered an episode for me that I am now dealing with despite making the payment. His last WhatsApp once he saw i had actually paid was deleted his end i can only guess it was more threats. My only hope is that we can stop this kind of approach from these nasty companies in the future. I have stored the chat as I am sure he will delete what he can. Complaint will be sent but if thats how agents are allowed to treat people I doubt it will.be addressed. I will update on here.

I am writing to raise a formal…

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the conduct of your call centre staff during two separate telephone calls made to CDER Group concerning my outstanding balance of £1,165.

On both occasions, I contacted your company in good faith to explain my current financial situation and to try to resolve the matter responsibly. I made it clear that I am currently receiving benefits and have no disposable income at this time. Despite this, I was spoken to in a condescending, dismissive, and disrespectful manner by both members of staff I spoke with.

I found their attitude wholly unacceptable. Being in debt does not remove my right to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. At no point did I refuse to engage or avoid the matter—I actively reached out to explain my circumstances and seek a reasonable solution. Instead, I was made to feel belittled and disregarded.

I would like to remind CDER Group that all debt collection activity must comply with relevant regulations and standards, including treating customers fairly and with respect, particularly those who are vulnerable or in receipt of benefits.

I am formally requesting:

A written response acknowledging this complaint
Confirmation that this matter will be investigated
Assurance that appropriate action will be taken to prevent similar treatment in the future

Should this matter not be addressed satisfactorily, I will have no hesitation in escalating my complaint further.

This is the email that I have sent let’s see if I get a response, These people are absolute bullies and disgusting human beings I wonder what they would be like if they came face to face with people probably completely different because there hiding behind a phone

PARASITES

PARASITES. I set up a payment plan for council tax at £75 per week. 1 week i was off work sick so I couldn't pay i had no money. So i phoned them and explained and I told them I would pick up the repayments the following week which I did and continued paying but because I missed 1 payment they cancelled the agreement and sent a enforcement officer round even though I continued paying. Nasty people on the phone too.

Appalling, not willing to accept payment

Emailed me but the emails when to my junk folder. When I eventually found the emails I responded immediately offering to make payment. They refused to accept the payment and instead insisted that I call them. Having explained that I was not in the UK and was not able to call them but was happy to resolve this via email, every response thereforth was just telling me to calling them, ridiculous.
They refuse to communicate via email but have only ever contacted me via email. Very unprofessional.

CDER GROUP - Bullies and Unprofessional

Title: Aggressive bailiff visit despite payment already made

I returned home after being in France for 3½ weeks to find a letter from CDER Group demanding £192.50 for an unpaid Dart Charge. Although I believed I had grounds to challenge it, I chose to pay immediately via their automated phone system to resolve the matter quickly. The payment was successful and confirmed by my bank.
Despite this, bailiffs attended my home very early in the morning and banged aggressively on the door. When I opened it, I explained that the charge had already been paid and showed clear proof on my bank statement. This was ignored, and I was told I now owed a further £470.
My wife and I are pensioners, and the manner of the visit was intimidating and extremely distressing. There was no attempt to listen or verify the payment. I contacted my bank again, who confirmed the payment had gone through and would not be rejected. I then contacted CDER Group directly, but was again told the full amount was still due.
Based on my experience, I found CDER Group to be unhelpful, unprofessional, and unnecessarily aggressive. I will be raising a formal complaint with Dart Charge and National Highways and would strongly advise any organisation considering using this company to think very carefully.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. Sent them a letter of vulnerability due to health reasons despite informing the man that I needed help he rattled information off abruptly and rudely. Then complained and the complaints team weren’t helpful. Then referred to the welfare team but when I called to talk to them I was told that I can’t talk to them unless I fill out an income and expenditure form - although I’ve already done this with step change - but they also said I could be lying so they won’t accept a copy from me!? I think these people have worked in a horrible industry for too long, so they’ve lost all compassion - if they had any to start with. God help them if they end up in the same position one day. In this day and age company’s that use these vile debt collectors should take note of the people they’re higher ing because it reflects on them too.

Modern-day stalking and scamming

Modern-day stalking and scamming: I had an unpaid £65 TFL ticket. Because I had moved address and only received the notice late. TFL then passed the debt to this company, but I missed all their letters because I was no longer living at that address. The property was shut, and I couldn’t receive anything until the landlord returned from abroad.

Now, that original £65 has been blown up to £540. Thanks to government lobbying, these companies are allowed to get away with this kind of extortion. It’s completely unreasonable and feels like nothing more than a predatory money-grab. If you phone this company to negotiate, employees really think they are doing a honest job! I lost £540 but at least I won't go to hell !

Andy the bailiff to get his 7am call thanks to his employers

CDER group still cannot reply to me, took the money they shouldn’t have and my car was damaged by Fat Andy the bailiff who knocked my door at 7am in his little white van. This company is scum, and needs to be closed down. Andy I have a bill for you so wait for your 7am call when I come for the damage you caused to my car and also the monies you falsely stole, so as CDER can’t help and are dodgy Mr Bailiff the debt now falls on you and hope the knock on your door by my collection agents employed will serve justice, this will be a lesson to your employers.

In regards to the enforcement officer I couldn’t fault him, I had a problem applying for breathing space as it was not yet accepted and sent straight through, he said he would be coming back on an alternate date if it was not to come through! And luckily it did :)

But the company on the phone! Rude as anything when I explained the circumstances to give them the breathing space number incase they still hadn’t received it through the post, I was greeted with rudeness and a hint of sarcasam through the phone, I was also threatened that my breathing space only allows them to not make contact for 60 days and they’ll be sending someone out to my property again and will enforce seizing and selling goods and then proceeded to smirk down the phone.

Basically conversation started positive when he was asking for a payment the minute it wasn’t to do with making a payment he become quiet aggressive and rude down the phone.

They told me up to 2 hours it will take the process. So someone arrived . looks like a thief playing at my car. Only he had a vest and body camera. He removed the clamp 5 hours later. I wish them very very good Xmas as they do.
