Cloned Vehicle - Vulnerable Adult

Unhelpful, unemphatic with the inability to take each case as individuals, that person/s involved are human beings. Used an excuse to put the phone down as well as using any delaying tactics. Treated with the uppermost contempt assuming everyone calling are bad debtors therefore don't deserve to be dealt with in a courteous manner.
Our situation was a point in case. I was unfortunate in having to deal with this company on my brothers behave as he's a vulnerable adult. He had his vehicle cloned and as he had never dealt with anything by way of legal in force, being a law abiding citizen, was unaware what to do. Until a bailiff turned up at his door and demanded £515. He paid this as he felt he had no choice or they would sieze his vehicle which he uses for work. Which is where the CDER come into the equation. After several unhelpful telephone calls, emails, delaying tactics and extreme stress, he eventually was refunded. But only the £515 but he's still out of pocket as he incurred charges on his credit card. All of this was through no fault of his. This company need to do some training of their staff in tact and diplomacy.

This company in my opinion are just absolute scammers

This company in my opinion are just legalised scammers in my opinion. I went over the dart bridge and was charged around last year 23/ December. At this time I was a new driver and was unaware of this. I then received a letter and stating that as it was my first offence I wouldn’t be fined, but I would just need to pay the original fare, which I did. Around may they then sent a letter out stating that I now had to pay £423. I was shocked but I didn’t worry about it because I knew i paid the money. Again I’m young and a new driver this is a whole new experience for me. So eventually they sent an agent who knocked on the door with a big camera. She was kind but firm on the fact that she will be taking my car. This alarmed and stressed both me and my mother who is a vulnerable woman. She had already clamped my car and told us that if we we did not pay this money my car would be gone by the end of the day. I tried to explain to her that we had payed and even showed her the evidence that I payed but all she could say was that her orders were to take the car. I need the car for work and I’m also my mothers carer so I needed the car so we had to pay this money but it affected us a lot as it was my mum who payed and put her behind her bills. So we contacted the company through email and sent all the information that was required, but they then said that we needed to send the pictures in pdf form or screenshots but THEY ALREADY WERE. They then said we needed to resend all the information. We keep going back and forth and it’s put stress on me and my mum. I’ve called and called and all they can say is we have to wait for a email back. This has been going on from early this year and is still in action. We sent one final email that they said that they’ll respond within 10 working days, but they have not so legal action with be taking place. We have all the proof and they just won’t give the money back. They are a horrible company.

Wish I could give zero stars but it isn't possible. These people are criminally pursuing vulnerable people for debts which they do not owe. If you receive any communication from them, send it back and report them for harrassment.

Extremely rude and hostile man

I was at home working all day and when I left my flat at night, I found a letter at the front door of my building addressed to me saying an enforcement agent had tried to come and because I didn't answer I was being charged 310 GBP. I called the number the next morning to ask what this was about and they said I never paid my council tax.. I am a full-time student, have submitted all of my documentation and Westminster Council even confirmed this with me on the phone, saying they don't know why CDER group has shown up at my door. The CDER group representative was horribly rude to me on the phone, constantly speaking over me and talking down on me. I also told him he never rang my bell or knocked at my door and he called me a liar. I was home the entire day and nothing happened... Thank god I didn't interact with him in my home alone because I was scared speaking to him on the phone. I asked the man how do I dispute this claim because I don't owe anyone any money and he said "not my problem, figure it out yourself"... How does he not know who I can speak to if there is an error? He said the next step is they come to my flat and take all of my belongings. Is this not completely illegal since it's an error? I've called Westminster Council and they said they will contact CDER Group for me but I'm completely at a loss for what to do.

No apology felt like she thought I was wasting her time on the phone to ask for one she was rude spoke over me and lied like the person who came to collect the money feels illegal how they treated me and no one to complain to

Deeply Disrespectful and Dismissive…

Deeply Disrespectful and Dismissive Experience with CDER Group

My recent experience with CDER Group has been profoundly upsetting — not just due to the aggressive and inappropriate behaviour of their enforcement agent during a visit to my home, but also due to the deeply unprofessional way my formal complaint was handled.
I submitted a complaint after a distressing visit in which I was spoken over, intimidated, and ignored, despite making it clear the named debtor does not live at my address.
The agent refused to leave, searched through every room, wardrobe and cupboard (not sure what he was hoping to find in my airing cupboard) and would not remove his shoes despite a polite request (due to newly fitted carpets).
I later suffered a severe panic attack,(I have ongoing health concerns), all of which were clearly stated in my complaint.
Rather than address the substance of my concerns, CDER chose to open their final response by implying that my email had been “generated with the assistance of AI”..
an attempt to discredit the substance of my complaint because it was clearly and coherently written - was a transparent deflection tactic.
Even more disturbingly, after I messaged their COO on LinkedIn, two CDER staff members accessed my professional profile. This intrusion following their unwelcome presence in my home, has caused significant additional anxiety and raises serious questions about ethics and boundaries.
CDER’s conduct - both in the field and in complaint handling falls far below acceptable standards.
I have escalated this matter to the Enforcement Conduct Board and would strongly advise others to document their experiences and do the same.

Robbery

So few months ago I received a parking fine. 70 pounds. Totally forgot about it. No second letter, nothing. Than this company, their officer came around with a warning that I owe them 425 pounds. Unbelievable. Robbery. I don't want to have trouble with so I paid 300,all the money that I had available in that moment. I said I'll pay the difference in 2 weeks. They said no. I have to pay now. Very rude and unprofessional. Robbery

I have never dealt with such an awful…

I have never dealt with such an awful company before , they are rude on the phone in the call centre , they like to call you a liar and try to intimidate you when you ring up , they need shutting down asap ! They had their enforcement agent follow me around in my car for a good 15 mins even though I didn't receive a letter or nothing through the post ! This was not even from my home address this was when I was out working trying to intimidate me when I called up to complain about this I was called a liar I sent a email to customer care who said they didn't want to know basically and brushed it off so now dealing with the original company that instructed these clowns and also in the process of seeking legal advice I suggest everyone else does too as they are just BULLIES...

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I could . I received a letter from an enforcement agent through the letter box, no knock or ring. I contacted him straight away to explain I had appealed this parking charge and heard nothing. I have had no correspondence from CDER until this dropped through the letter box. I rung to speak to him but no answer so I messaged funny he replied straight away was rude with his responses completely unprofessional. I then also called the call centre again met by completely rude and incompetent staff. A total bullying tactic. I was told I’d had emails I checked my inbox nothing was told could be in junk, that’s great I never check junk and also I’d had texts not being funny but with the amount of scams sent via text I ignore. Think they need to sort things out on how they correspond. Don’t know how these agents sleep at night.

I received several letter addressed to somone unknown.

I received several letter addressed to someone I have never heard of at my address. I returned each one 'Return to Sender', 'unknown at this address'. I next have someone tresspass on my land delivering a letter by hand. I explained the person is unknown at this address. I then have to prove he does not live here by sending very personal details about myself and my home. All this at my time and my expense. When I complained by telephone about all this stress and trouble they had caused me, they were rude, agggessive and a simple could not care less attitude. A vile and nasty company!
