Everything was great. I buy models here from time to time, and both the quality and prices are great. However, when it came time to pay, I had issues with the cards I had previously used without any problem. Something about anti-fraud policies came up, so I had to pay through PayPal using that exact same card—otherwise, I would have had to buy from somewhere else.

This site basically is managed and labored but AI bot agents and trying getting support from real people is no existent. They censor your 3d models even if they are nsfw or not because their stupids bots can't tell the difference between what nsfw is and what isn't. Been a seller and a buyer is an absolutely pain. 3d models are been censored or modified without your consent to pass their stupid guidelines. Or if you buy a model be ready to buy something entirely different because the site is so restrictive that they ban and disappear images from your product page without telling you on top of they add a bunch of subscriptions and no matter how expensive and top quality your model is, you are getting 3 cents per download.

The payment and download processes were very easy. As for the files, they look excellent to me, although I haven't printed the parts yet.

I find the CGTrader site easy to use and I am usually very happy with the variety of models on offer. I buy mostly for 3D printing and painting and the easy and so far secure purchasing has been great. I intend to keep buying from them in the future.

The service is very comprehensive. Models are easy to find, sometimes pricing is a bit high compared to other providers. Over all I am very satisfied

It was safe, easy and quick to download the object.
I just wish the objects came in three different versions: simple, medium and detail regarding number of polylines.

Huge range of good value and free STL files. Pretty much anything and everything you use the excellent search engine for is to be found. Best site on the web for 3D printing.

Only used once but was very impressed and will be ordering more STL code for military models for my grandson. CGT had the code for a Clemson Class destroyer that my Dad served on 96 years ago.

I had models on here but they're automatic system keeps saying that I've stolen them in fact they're mine. And they keep harassing me I've taken all my models Downing entirely and they continue to send me these messages. Don't use their services they lie about things that you own. Their AI is messed up. First I got a message stating that this was a mistake on their behalf and now I'm getting more messages with more things being wrong again these are my models I have the physical copies I scan them myself. And I have no problem showing them to anyone! Don't use this app. And the harassment better stop or I will seek legal action!

The subscription service is a scam or completely broken. It says I hit my daily limit of downloads which isn't true because it's said that for over 10 days. And when I tried to cancel, it tried to give me a $50 cancelation fee. For a subscription service that doesn't even work.

I contacted customer service and have heard nothing back. The only employee I could get a hold of manages their Instagram account. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great models, great rates, always easy to deal with

So the titanfall 2 pilot helmet it was helpful in making my project come to life. I made a phew adjustment ls to it and has come together really well. The variety of 3d game ready files on here is well based and very helpful thank you CGTrader

- models disappear from one day to another from wish list then not being available to buy anymore
- flooded with AI slop and poor search function
- artistic "adult" models like harmless statues banned
- forcing customers into subscription system (hate that)
- poor seller experience, models used for AI training

They're willing to help you with any questions or concerns. They protect the customer as well as the seller from fraud. I appreciate it. They make it easy to navigate on the site. Looking forward to buying more from them.

I loved selling models on their website but after recent changes they made our experience worse. I sell less and earn less after their major change they made last year. They promised we will earn more but that was a lie. Now they are constantly flagging my models with their broken AI, my models are safe, original, made by me and they should not be flagged. After asking them to fix that they told me to waste my time and make an appeal on every model they falsely flagged. At this state i cant recommend for creators selling models on this website, it was my favorite one to sell models and i was supportive but they broke the trust just like any other company nowadays. I deleted my previous review thinking they will improve but they are getting worse instead.

all ok easy transition and fast download

Constant issues like oh you cant log in because you been awhile so new password and if you use the same one the website gets buggy. Then you guys say two of my projects are suspended why? There made by me, there not NSFW SO PLEASE TELL ME WHY? Did you even bother to see how old they are? Can no one be allowed to make a SIMPLE FENCE LATCH!? Don't even dare say the hand from someone else either I'm double digit in every finger and the hand was based off mine, so please tell me WHY!? Clear you didn't bother to look into it and are pure lazy...

I believe CGTrader is ahead of the crowd for its platform quality, service, accessibility, ease of use, appearance etc. These are good qualities to keep above the competition. On the other hand CGTrader is also ahead of the crowd in use of AI to monitor quality and to remove deceptive submissions. This same trust in AI abilities may be pre-mature in that AI can make a lot of mistakes this early in its inception. Perhaps human intervention in AI decisions before public involvement and before negative reactions. The consequences in poor AI judgment is a negative boost and does not build confidence in your platform for both seller and buyer, from what I have red on Reddit this is where we are. The experience is sometimes jaw dropping shock, forcing decisions to be made with knee jerk reactions which may in the end be unnecessary after human intervention but too late for CGTraders reputation. Seeking balance may take time but will help going forward for both company, buyer and sellers.

Removing models with a blind fold- one moment it was green lighted, next taken down. The „feedback“ button dosent work. Nobody reacts on mails. The payment is shitty.
