As a family of bikers we are loving the Chilli tech lights! We have the Cree lights for our helmets and larger lights for our handle bars. I love how easy the capsule helmet lights are to clip on and off from the easy attach Velcro fixings on the helmet! So easy and so easy to charge too with no big batter packs! The quality of the lights have been perfect for night riding on single track technical trails. The capsule helmet light is light on the helmet and great for the kids and the beam is easily adjustable! We went for the larger Cree lights for the handle bars with battery packs and again the quality of light has been spot on with no loss of power on rides over 2 hours. Delivery was prompt and customer service has been great! I love how compact the packaging is. Simple and straight forward! We will be buying from Chilli Tech again!

When my ordered camera didn't arrive in the allocated time I sent a message to Customer Services and received a prompt reply from Johnny that he would look into it the next day. Two days later the camera arrived.

As others have said, the blue recording light is not visible outdoors (but the double vibration tells you when it starts recording, single, long vibration for off), needing to reset the time stamp with a computer when changing the battery is a nuisance (but 4 hours is much longer recording time than other small action cameras) and there is no in-camera stabilisation (available on cameras costing much, much more).

However, the camera is small and light with a large, long lasting battery; it produces amazingly good quality video for way below the price of anything that is in any way comparable (and if you want 8 hours recording, buy two cameras!). What's not to love?

And finally, I'm bemused by the negative reviews about customer service. I replied to Johnny's initial message with a query about the camera; this resulted in several messages being exchanged. Throughout Johnny has been prompt, friendly and thoroughly professional so my personal experience has been of exemplary customer service that puts most companies and organisations to shame.

Polite, quick to reply, informative, happy to help, understanding. Would give 10stars if I could.

Recently picked up the 800 lumen torch and capsule deal. Rapid shipping! Was expecting a shipping confirmation within 48 hours of placing the order, but the items arrived!
Slight issue with the capsule light, but Johnny in customer support offered some suggestions, with the option to return the item if still faulty. No need, fault sorted! A missing item from the order was posted that same day too without question!

I ordered a bullet cam after pondering for a while. The delivery was fast, actually arrived on the day it was due to be dispatched!
The camera had a slight fault so I messaged Chilli Tech via Facebook Messenger (on a Saturday) and got a prompt response being that a replacement camera would be sorted for me. Replacement arrived with no issues and I then returned old camera and chilli tech then issued my refund for return postage with no quibbles.
Communication has been excellent via messenger and the guys at chilli tech have been very helpful. Top service!

The cam itself it great for the price, it’s not full hd but then your not paying full hd prices. Captures number plates of any close passes which is all I need it for. Sound could be an issue for some if wanting to record conversations as riding but this isn’t an issue for me. Attached under Garmin mount and doesn’t look too intrusive.

Great Customer Service

So far so good, wanted too order 3 set's of Cree 2400 and Cree Helmet Capsule's which wasn't directly an option on the website, spoke to Paul over Facebook messenger and his response time and help was fantastic. Sorted out a separate invoice for me for everything I wanted too order and upgraded the batteries on the capsule and is sending out right away for me. I have had a better, more personal service in the hour or so of dealing with Chilli Tech than I have in years dealing with larger companies.

Can't wait too test the lights out when they arrive.

I purchased the latest bullet cam for 2021 and its ok. The image quality is decent for the price I suppose. The sound quality is disastrously bad. Whilst mounted the handlebars, if I remove the water resistant cap (leaving the switches and USB charger exposed) the sound quality slightly improves and it can just about record ambient sounds but not chatter/vocals. But, with the cap on, it doesn't pick up anything - except for the rattling sound of the ride. Also, setting up the time and date for this device is painfully awkward and is always inaccurate. I tried contacting Chilli Tech to see if my product may have been faultsy but didn't receive a response. Sorry Chilli Tech, I dont rate this product as good quality and don't recommend it.

I am a avid cyclist and was looking around for a not too expensive camera just for safety purposes. GoPro were too expensive and I did look at Amazon but unsure as you couldn’t see any videos of picture quality. I looked on YouTube and saw this camera. I was really interested and the quality of video. Once I bought it, I was impressed with the size and the quickness of delivery. I tested it out and picture quality is excellent for the price. For this quality, I expected to pay around £200. The videos on YouTube are nice and easy to follow. It’s not too heavy and the vibrations to know when your recording is so useful when it’s on your helmet. It’s also compact. The battery charging is not too long and the ease of changing it is easy. It’s well designed and very well put together. It gives you peace of mind knowing that you’ve got evidence if you get into an accident. It’s also small enough that drivers won’t see it on you. I will recommend it to my bike mates and to other people

Brought there rear camera/light on Jan 21, camera packed up Sept 21. Sent email to Chill tech to see if the camera/light had any warranty, they said return it and we will take a look into it. Sent it back Sept 15th 21. Sent further email and I was told Paul was going to look at it and would contact me shortly. That did not happen. Sent further emails and even my phone number, they have not responded to these. They have a phone number to call them, but nobody picks up at there end?
I think there customer service is very lacking.

AVOID! Response to emails ranges from slow to non-existent. First camera quickly developed a fault; replacement was faulty when it arrived; I sent that back five weeks ago and despite multiple chasing emails have heard nothing. Not only do I now have no camera, I even had to pay the return postage twice.

Brought a bullet cam last week. Arrived quickly but doesn't work. Chilli not responding to my emails and phone number on their website doesn't work. Very disappointed and out of pocket.

Vendor responded quickly shortly after my original review and has supplied a replacement camera which works well. I am increasing my rating to 3 stars.

Bought the bullet cam after looking at the website and video clips they use to demonstrate to this item. Buyer Beware!!!!!! This is nothing like the experience I have with my camera and multiple emails and social media attempts they have not responded.

Bought rear bicycle camera light in july. After 2 weeks the tab on the cheap plastic mount that retains the light broke.
Emailed about obtaining a replacement bracket as this caused the light to vibrate and the image to be unclear and was just sent the link to buy a whole new light for £100+ with no explanation.
Have emailed twice since asking for a new bracket and then to return the unit for a refund but 3 weeks on have had no replies

Can't recommend this company or product, terrible customer service (as with others I have just been ignored) and while the light unit itself may be ok the mount is cheap and won't last.

I ordered a bike HD bullet cam in April which took many weeks to arrive. When I found out how to contact them (their Facebook page) communication was very good and I was kept up to date. The one I ordered was out of stock and the software in the new stock was in the process of being updated. When I opened the box I was very surprised at how good the quality was, in fact excellent. I have now used it and it produces good quality video (don't expect super high resolution at this price) which enables a passing car registration plate to be read with ease; that's what I bought it for. It's very simple to use, has, all the necessary bits and pieces needed to mount it to the bike or helmet, a safety lanyard and an end cap to allow a change from weather resistant to fully waterproof. The YouTube videos fully explain the nuances if required otherwise just charge it and press the button.

Had the camera for about 2 months now, and although it records video, it's not user friendly at all.
It's difficult to know whether it's recording or not. Usually, the blue light comes on to indicate recording, but on some occasions no light at all! When the light does come on, it's very faint and not visible during the day.
The handle mount is pretty crude and far from ideal!

If you need a reliable camera to capture video footage in the unlikely event of an accident or unexpected incident, then this is NOT the product.

It's fine for recording your kids learning to ride, or a day out with friends or family, but not for something to rely on.

Great service, kept me informed of import dates and when they expected to despatch. Arrived before I expected and a solid piece of kit.

I bought the HD bullet camera which I am pleased with. However, the company, Complete joke. To start with the product I bought was delayed, I understand that these things happen but I had to chase them to find out what was going on. Not a great start. I was offered an upgrade but naturally had to pay for this which they were very prompt to contact me and take payment. That's the last promptness I had. Further delays, no more communication, further emails chasing, further delays.
Item finally arrived some months after I paid and comes with ZERO instructions.
I email to ask for help and am sent to YouTube for some pretty poor quality instructions that didn't answer the issues that I had.
Came with lots of bits again with ZERO instructions so had to just figure out how fix it to my bike.
Emailed again asking for further help and just got sent to the same YouTube videos, didn't actually answers my issues.
Further email sent and numerous apical media posts made and now am not getting any response.
Seems of you want contact from them, tenlt them with the promise of money and they will email and call you!
If you want help, may as well go for a walk and find a Unicorn to help you.
2 stars as the product I'm happy with, but it's only as good as the support it gets so I only prey nothing goes wrong with it as it will have to go in the bin and buy the Cycliq light which from experience has so much better customer service. My recommendation is stay away.

Ordered the rear view camera / light and paid the extra £3 next day delivery option, which it duly was the very next day.

So far so good and seems to be working, but not yet ventured out on the bike with it. It doesn’t have Wi-Fi or an app and relies on plugging the SD card into the laptop, which is fine. Just remember to make sure your SD card is formatted before using, as it won’t record if you don’t. Picture quality is excellent, it’s solid enough although cover for SE card feels slightly flimsy, but hopefully will stay closed and prevent water accessing it.
Hopefully motorists will notice the cam if they get too close and realise they are being filmed, so will act as a deterrent. I am really surprised there are not more of these types of gadgets on the market.

I am changing a previously negative review. I have received a new cam after sending my old faulty one back. Sometimes the wait has felt like long with quite a few exchanges of emails. Anyhow the situation is now rectified after a 2 months wait.
A good camera, I prefer the bullet shape to the square ones from a very decent company! Recommended.
