STOKE-ON-TRENT BRANCH - Extremely rude staff (particularly the man with long tied back ginger-ish hair who we assume to be the manager?) who doesn’t even know Cineworld’s own policy on taking... See more

Impossible to talk to anyone at cineworld now. All I want to do is update my DD but all I get is an email that says cancel and rejoin - oh what and lose all the discounts!! Useless!!

Blocked by cloudflare from their website to book tickets for the crime of trying to book tickets on their website.
Fair enough, I won't book tickets, I save my money, my effort, and time, Cineworld get nothing, win, win.
Projection out of focus for entire film
Just walked out of Avatar 3D at Cineworld Llandudno after they projected the entire film out of focus. No wonder cinemas are dying.
Disgusted by parking fine to see Avatar
They don't warn you of parking fines. The film avatar is over 3 hours which rather conveniently the car park used yo vev4 hours and is now 3 hours. There's no warning sign and now machines either in the carpark or in the cinema!
Will never use cineworld again. Thanks for the £100 fine.
Staff were very polite & helpful
Staff were very polite & helpful. Enjoyed the film, lovely, warm & clean with no interruptions. Get my vote every time👌😜
The website is not fit for purpose
The website is not fit for purpose. Tried booking x4 tickets for a film on Saturday at significant cost and the transaction crashed both times. Order voided but they still take the money for 2-3 days.
My local Cineworld hasn't been invested in since I can remember and yet is more expensive than ever. It is the only multiplex option in my town. This company needs to be kicked out and a functional outfit (Vue or Odeon) brought in.
Lied to me and refused to refund me
I went to the cinema on a Monday evening as it was the only day I had off, half way through the movie I had to be evacuated because people had let fireworks off in Enfield Cineworld so I never got to watch the end of the movie to make matters worse I was told by staff I would be refunded and heavily compensated yet after 12 emails back and forth they have refused to even refund me my popcorn or drink I had to leave in the cinema plus they still haven’t refunded my ticket instead they turned around and said we can’t see your payment on our system I literally showed them screenshots of payments on my online banking and my picture of the cinema tickets this company’s customer service is shambles never use again!!!!
Renewing Unlimited Membership…
Trying to renew Unlimited Membership for myself and my wife using a discount voucher and the process is a complete joke. You complete the form on line and receive an automated response with instructions. Item 1 is reply to email - which you can’t for the mailbox does not accept replies. This means you can’t inform Cineworld that’ll about any issue with renewal. I have completed numerous forms on line and the response is always the same The whole process is flawed.
Utter rubbish
Utter rubbish, the website to join Cineworld is a complete joke. Tried several times to register without success and when I did finally register, login told then told me my credentials were incorrect. Tried to change password and received no emails. Complete and utter shambles

It was good but we complained about a boy behind us who was kicking and pulling our chairs and also shouting and we went out to speak to someone but the manager didnt really do anything about it
Gave up trying to book on line
Tried for 45 minutes to book two tickets to cineworld , on line to watch avatar , once I logged in as they requested , could not get passed the “join our club for£12 a month” page. Then tried to re log in , 4 times using the log in details was not recognised.
So gave up. Will wait for it to buy on Apple TV No wonder the seats are dropping
Everything about Cineworld is so…
Everything about Cineworld is so Frustrating. In my eyes it is ant-disabled.
They don't mix screens for all films so wheelchair users can sit in the screens with seating at the back. Really annoys me as end up missing the films.
Don't tell you when the lifts break down, so get wasted journey.
They don't show what screen the film is on until you get to the end of booking page and after going back and forth trying to find a suitable screen a few times, the website blocks the computer for ages because we have to end the booking sequence. So anoying. Wht not put the screen the film is on at the start time before clicking to book it. That makes sense. I have said this a few times now but you do nothing, because you don't care.
Listen to your customers and realise that the website booking sequence is frustrating for dissabled seat booking, we can not sit right at the front so need to book screens that have seating at the back. Schedual films so they always have showings in them screens also. And most of all, stop blooking our computers from booking because we have to go back and forth to find out what screen it is showing for each time, Or put the screen at the start of the bookingings so we know what screen is for what time the films are on.
Sorry for the rant but you will get more customers and more satisfied customers, if you use lived experience from us to improve your procedures etc.
Update-Yet another film called They Will Kill You has not been on a screen with disabled wheelchair spaces at the back. There is six screens out of the Twelve, so why in my opinion do you discriminate the disabled.
Shame on you.

Really grateful to the manager at rushden lakes today for helping us after I booked tickets online to the wrong cinema. Thank you & merry Christmas
Is nothing wrong for your id to be…
Is nothing wrong for your id to be checked. Believe me i been in situation, getting tickets food and drinks soda or hot drink. Walking up to check in. Asked for id and because i didn't have one for myself and i am nearly 50 years old and person with hidden disabilities i took with me also had no id because it is my responsibility to bring some.
I ask staff what do you like me to do with tickets and all drinks and food. Staff very professionally provided different screening. Plus i learned to be prepared in the future.
Checking id it is for myself safety 1st, person whom is with me and all of us. Safety comes first. Thank you
Horrible
Horrible, i bought tickets as a guest 30 minutes before the cinema started, but received no qr code for the two tickets. Neither did i get any receipts in my email whatsoever. I contacted the customer service but they just wouldnt budge on their stupid policy of not being able to do anything about past performance. How is it my fault that i couldnt access your performance because of your own system issue.
Website changed my location while…
Website changed my location while booking and I had to rebook. Ended up paying twice. Requested a refund and they said no.
The customer service is insulting
The customer service is insulting, your complaints and questions will be completely ignored. They pick and choose when people are allowed to use their carer cards, im unable to book an IMAX showing of the shining this week but my carer card works for everything else, this stops my child from coming with me to the cinema, it’s one of the only things they enjoy doing and Cineworld do nothing but add stress to the experience. They are useless, unhelpful and heartless, they have no care for those using carer cards and will do nothing to help. Another useless corporation.
Website changed my location
Website changed my location, cannot get refunded
Won’t be coming back to the one in…
Won’t be coming back to the one in chichester, me and my cousin went to watch a 15 rated movie as we are both 15 but they insisted to have id , we showed them photos and videos of our passports but they said they needed it in person but after we got back we looked on the website to find out you only need photo proof! staff were very rude and arrogant towards us , definitely will not be going back there
Booked a Saturday tickets come through…
Booked a Saturday tickets come through a Friday tried to let them know and was offered no refund or vouchers will not go back.
