This a scam do not use.

After selecting and paying a lot of money for an enhanced DBS check, I only receive a basic one, which I already have, and can get for a fraction of the price. No support. Awful service.

They refer you to another identity verification website with a poor system that wants more money. This is a scam. They are a faceless business that just want your money.

I will be getting a refund or this will be going to the ombudsman.

Do not use this company! I paid £86.50 for a DBS check and requested a refund 2 days later. I only received £27, I will be taking this further with my bank.

Payment confusion

Signed up for a DBS certificate before realising the education provider i was with had already submitted a form for me. I decided to cancel this and only got a small portion of my money back. Ever since then, they have been taking away £8 out of my bank for months and i have no idea what its from and how to remove it.

i had submitted all my info and forms and got chased to say i hadn't. Payment got taken on a service i cancelled straight away.

Fell into the trap of using this…

Fell into the trap of using this service for DBS certificate. Charged £100 for the service and was then pointed in the direction of a verification service Verify Online. Their service charged me £16 for their service which, in my opinion is a money making scam. The service involved me downloading a form and then getting someone local to fill it in. AVOID

Overpriced scam company

I completed an application for a DBS check the amount wasn't clear on application, i paid a staggering £89.50. Unsure if this was actually what I needed and shocked by the cost I quickly requested a refund. I was sent a link to initiate a refund stating the full amount, although only received £27.50 . When questioned this with Clear Check the said they had initiated some which had totalled £59. This is clearly fraudulent as the refund was requested over a weekend and so out of working hours, plus the standard cost for a enhanced is under £30 so this is just a greedy and fraudulent scam to gain funds.
AVOID.

Do not use this sit ( it's not a government sit)

I needed to complete a DBS check for employment and searched online for how to apply. One of the first links looked very much like an official UK Government site, so I followed it and filled in all the required details.

At the payment stage I believed I was paying the standard £21 DBS fee. The next morning I checked my bank account and discovered £86.50 had been taken.

When I logged back in to cancel, the site showed a ridiculous “refund scale” graph claiming refunds depend on how far through the application you are. Because I had completed the form, they said I only qualified for a £25 refund.

If I tried to continue the application, it then redirected me to another company to upload documents, which would have cost another £25 on top.

I then went directly to the official government DBS website and completed the same check for £21.

This site is NOT a government service. In my view it is deliberately designed to look official and ends up charging people far more than the genuine DBS application.

Avoid this company and go straight to the official DBS website instead.

UPDATE
I needed a DBS check for employment and searched online for how to apply. A link appeared that looked very similar to an official UK Government service, so I followed it and completed the application believing I was paying the normal DBS fee.
The application was submitted on 03/03/2026 at 15:03 and my card was charged £86.50.
When I reviewed the payment the following morning I realised the cost was far higher than expected. I logged back into the website and requested a refund on 04/03/2026 at 07:43, less than 16 hours later.
At that stage I had not uploaded any documents or completed identity verification, yet I was only offered £25 back based on their refund scale.
I later discovered that this company is not the official DBS service, but a third-party company charging a large administration fee to process the same application.
I then completed the same DBS application directly through the official government service for £21.
In my opinion the website presentation is misleading and gives the impression of being an official government service, while charging a significant additional fee.
I would strongly recommend that anyone needing a DBS check applies directly through the official government website instead.

Ripped off give me back my money …

I got my d b s check that was the good part. But I ended up being charged £101 and then an £8 a month fee I’ve asked for a refund still not had it ! I had to ask them several times to stop the payment and in the end to make sure it stopped I told by bank to block payments . I’ve still had no explanation of the £102 charge or when and if I get back from them . The charges are not clear or easy to work out !! Not happy at all do not use or use with extreme care !!!
