Example of sense & simplicity! Does exactly what is supposed to be doing

We used a physical folder to store our contracts and Outlook to remind us about the notice periods. And we scanned all our signed contracts to save them digitally. So three different locations. An overview of all our contracts and the notice dates was not available for us.

At this moment we only have 21 contracts, but still too many to follow them with our old solution. Buying software did not have our preference as the contracts cost enough money, and we just wanted a complete overview of our contracts and notice dates.

We have been using Cloudtract now for just months and the simplicity is what does it for us. The clean and easy interface does not throw complex functionalities to us but keeps it simple. This lowers our efforts to maintain it.

What would make our life even easier is a desktop icon or something so that we could drag & drop our contracts and documents to Cloudtract. Perhaps something to offer to your users?

Limited features - Nothing that I can't do in a shared agenda... some of MY DATA could be sold (anonymous) in the future, and Cloudtract does listen to users!

Cloudtract is a stable product. It does what it is supposed to. It is free. Cloudtract really listens to their users!

There are two frictions that I have with this service:
1) Lack of features. I can only add one trigger (the notice period before the contract expires). I cannot add extra triggers to review and track performance during the life-cycle. I can only add 300 characters in notes.

2) Another friction I had with this product is the fact that they could be selling parts of MY DATA (anonymous) to companies that may be interested to know my contract details. They will NOT DELIBERATELY expose my personal information... but it can accidentally be exposed! (See additional comments in UPDATE.)

So I ask myself why use this if I get the same in a shared agenda and at the same time run NO RISK of my personal details accidentally being exposed??

*** UPDATE *** The following illustrates how Cloudtract demonstrates that they do take their users serious...
After my initial review, Cloudtract contacted me (within hours) and explained what they do with the data. My documents are secure (encrypted), and these documents will never be shared. My data may be analysed in the future, and I could start to receive alerts based on their analysis (e.g. that 95% of the other customers are paying lower rates). There may be other services that they may offer me or certain vendors in the future. The clause in the privacy policy is just keeping that door open for further investigation.
I have also been asked to elaborate on my comments about additional the triggers.

Dear Nico,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about Cloudtract. This enables us to improve our services such as our website, communications and functionalities. We are glad to read that you appreciate the stability of our product.

But we are very sorry to learn that you have some concerns about our solution. Our colleague Michel Ko has contacted you with a more extensive response. Please allow us to clarify the main topics from this email via Trustpilot:

1. Uploaded contracts and other documents: we DO not and will NEVER have access to the documents you upload. These uploaded documents are encrypted and only accessible by the people you authorize.

2. Using data: the minimum information you need to fill in when setting an alert is “Supplier name” and “Alert date”, all other fields are optional. We do reserve the right to analyze the data which is entered in these fields. It would be in the best interest of our users and ourselves to do this in a manner that would be beneficial to our users and not to chase them away as this would not be a sustainable business model.

We hope that you can take the time to read our email which contains more information and questions about the functionalities you would like to see added to Cloudtract. As we are still running our Beta-version, we are happy to receive as much feedback as possible to further develop our solution.

Kind regards,

Cloudtract | Timing is everything

Cloudtract works perfect!

This is the one cloud service I was missing: in my organization with a lot of contracts with franchisees it's critical for my business not to miss an expiry date of one single contract. With Cloudtract I can easily manage and access all my contract whenever and where ever I like. It's a life saver!

Cloudtract: the (new) landmark in contract management

For me, Cloudtract is a customer friendly online contract management tool and above all it is free of charge! I regularly use it to store a variety of business contracts and the accompanying contract alerts as well as the posisbility it provides to upload contracts are very helpful. The website itself has a professional look and feel.
