Computer Planet 

Really bad service, never even got to the point of ordering a computer. I asked for a quote which they produced pretty quickly but thought I'd wait until the sales. I asked for a re quote which they did however the components were different, I tried to question this (could never get through on the phone to any department, always directed to the online service which took ages to respond and then the said I needed need to talk to sales - ahhh) They then said the quote was wrong and sent a new one half the cost with again different components so again I tried to question this and again cant get to talk to anyone and they closed the tickets even though i had no requested call back, so gave up and when somewhere else who dealt with me within 1 hr and i placed an order.

This was the first time I'd ever ordered a computer for my son. The computer came very well packed. As its a Christmas present i unpacked it and turned it on to check everything was right, which it was and the rgb lighting does look amazing. I am so happy and very glad to have purchased from computer planet.

The computer arrived early, was well packaged and exactly as ordered. It's the quietest computer I've ever had and so perfect for my recording studio.
This is the second one I've bought from Computer Planet and I'll be back when this one needs replaced.

Great company to order from with the PC being well built and packages. Prices are really good considering your paying for labor as well. The customer service team was great and they even sent my PC out quicker than what I paid for, 5 days earlier than excepted.

If you a think of buying a pc, just got for it honestly these guys are great.

Dishonest service. I was buying a computer, but at the checkout it said my card failed. I then went and processed payment via PayPal which is btw connected to the same card. PayPal payment went through and my order was processed. A few weeks later my accountant noticed I got two transactions for the same amount on the same day so I asked me if it was ok. That's how I found out my payment was processed twice. I didn't think much about it because I thought it would be enough just to give the computer planet a call and explain. However, I was wrong. The computer planet acknowledged the issue but didn't refund money. I had to open a chargeback claim with American Express after not receiving my money back within three weeks of raising the ticket. I find this really appalling. Especially after spending over 10k with the previous year. Since then I found a different supplier for my custom made machines. I would never buy anything from the computer planet again. They literally took my money for nothing and then refused to return them. Luckily I made payment with charge card company that's efficient in resolving claims with dishonest merchants.

I just saw a reply from the computer planet and unfortunately, trust pilot would not let me post screenshot links or files, but it didn't happen as the computer planet says in their reply. They say:

'We confirmed via email it would be refunded. Customer issued a charge back with his bank which meant we couldn't do anything with the transaction. At no point did we refuse to refund the transaction. We are very sorry that this happened.'

I opened a case on the 7th of August explaining the situation and they agreed two payments were processed for a single order. They sent me an email on the same day saying:

'I've located the card payment for this and now refunded it.
It will clear back to your card in 3 - 5 working days.'

This didn't happen. I never got my money back and after 3 weeks on the 27th of August, I opened a case with AMEX who then stepped in and made sure a refund was issued. I strongly doubt the computer planet was planning to return my funds because they had plenty of time to do that, but never acted on it.

These guys are absolute clowns, I still got all the emails and screenshots to prove what I am saying is correct.

Ordered this PC as a main workhorse computer to replace my old desktop. Wanted a system for heavy general purpose use as well as photo editing and some gaming. This was actually my second order from Computer Planet - my first order was back in 2010 and it was this machine I was replacing with a new one, can’t believe I’d had it for so long but I guess that’s a testament to the quality of the product. I came back to Computer Planer for a new machine based on my previous experience and the ability to pick the components to get the spec I wanted rather than accept an off the shelf compromise. The ordering process was very easy and it was useful to be able to save a spec and tweak it over a few days whilst I finalised the mix of components that suited my intended use of the machine. Communication throughout was good as was the speed of the build. The machine was extremely well packed for transit with plenty of protective packing ensuring it arrived in perfect condition and working order. In all I’m very happy with quality, service and choice of components. After plugging the machine in and reconnecting all my other kit everything worked perfectly.

No doubt I’ll be back again in the future for another order.

Ordered a bare bones machine and monitor set up with no O/S. Unit was delivered within 5 working days and i had installed my hard drives and O/S the same day. Booted up and installed drivers and machine worked flawlessly.

Customer service is good, will answer any question or give you advice when needed. I ordered a custom built PC and a monitor. PC is very neat inside. I ran into some problems after only 2 days of use. Blue screen. Driver failed, I had to use a friend who works with computers to Take my through some steps. Which worked for a week or 2, Now today blue screened again, which shouldn’t happen in 10 years never mind 3 weeks. I don’t know how it wasn’t picked up in their ‘Rigorous Test’. But they have been very helpful On Assisting me. I will be sending back my PC for repair when I return from holiday.

Very happy with the PC I have received and with the ordering, delivery and customer service as a whole.
I personally selected a custom build Quiet PC with quite a high spec which was good value when compared to the competition.
Following a submitted question, I had my original quote amended by David so that a suitable mother board was spec’d to suit my chosen build.
The PC was built and delivered in about half of the originally predicted time, so I had it delivered just over a week after placing the order.
Signing into the customer area on the website gives you an up to date log of the build process, so thats worth doing.
The delivery by courier came on the morning of the specified day and was well packed.
Overall I would definitely recommend for a computer purchase, based on my experience.

The ease in their build tool online significantly reduced the stress and confusion of the vast number of reviews and comparisons for each component by giving the ability to save and edit as you go.

The PC was delivered quickly and very securely and I was able to boot up straight away and without any hassle.

My particular oreder did come with a wee hiccup but this was resolved very quickly and with greater satisfaction than I'd expect, so now I have a well built PC that operates smoothly and a big thumps up to Computer Planet.

Used these guys twice now, been very happy both times. Couldn't find an equivalent service at a better price, the custom pc builder on their site is very comprehensive, and communication pre-order and post was swift.

I've never had the time to build my own computer or really had any interest in doing it I just wanted to move from console gaming to PC. I purchased from Computer Planet and David walked me through what's going in my computer part by part over the phone and explained how it's going to perform. He didn't try to up sell anything and the call was answered in less than a minute.

In 10 seconds after pressing the power button the system is completely loaded and booted. It is crazy fast. While gaming, the two fans are in silent mode along with the RMX PSU we picked. This PC is super quiet, even under high usage. Awesome airflow through the whole PC.

We purchased 2 gaming computers from computerplanet which were delivered on Friday. We spent the weekend unpacking and setting it up and we were very impressed with the build quality. Really good work inside the case with the cables all hidden from the glass window.

I found it very easy to buy what i needed on the website. I used tech support for around 10 minutes on web chat and was helped quickly and efficiently.

The site was quick and easy to use.

I you have a deadline or are making a high-cost purchase - DO NOT USE COMPUTER PLANET - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I made my original order over 2500gbp and paid extra for the 7day turn around. I was obviously extremely disappointed when it didn't arrive on time as it was a Birthday Present. I was promised I'd get a refund on the '7day build' option and that the machine would be with me in 48hrs. Here's a challenge for you, try call them on their published phone number or contact them on chat after you've complained. Nothing. No feedback. I will be reporting this as what seems to be a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM COMPUTER PLANET.

Brilliant service. Computer built to my specification. Excellent tidy work and the best price. Delivered on time, well packed. Well worth the 5 stars.

5 1/2 years ago I ordered a PC from them, I have only just had to order a replacement so the quality is fantastic and trustworthy.
I haven't had to use it but the warranty provides real peace of mind.
I love the ability to customise the PC to your needs, really gives you control over what you're ordering.
The PC was built really quickly and delivered in a very safe and well packed manner, with good tracking.
I have recieved several compliments on my new PC, and it is the only company I would actively recommend.

This is my second PC from computerplanet.co.uk. This time though I used their next day PC service. I ordered on a Friday before the cut off and paid for next day delivery on Saturday. Alas, I did not receive it until Monday. I contacted support and they were quick to refund me my money for the Saturday delivery and even threw in a free XL desk mat which was a nice surprise.

As with other contributors to Trust Pilot, my experience with monitoring progress of an order from Computer Planet and making contact to find out about an order delay was not good, but once I managed to communicate with the company through comments on Trust Pilot, my confidence was restored and my order is now being handled in a transparent and friendly way
