Avoid! Never thought I would have to source so many documents from different companies because they couldn't. They were keep on pushing me to take indemnity policy which they charge for of course. I am wondering what did I take solicitors for as I had to go through most of the things myself and on the top they have charged me over a £1000 more than quoted for additional job. Joke. They've forgotten to tell us that we have to get the redemption from help to buy which costed me an extra month of mortgage on the house I didn't live in anymore and they were explaining it that they didn't want to tell us to soon because its only valid for 3 months and it was a week before planned completion.

Do not use this firm. They add in a ton of additional costs once you start the process that were not included in the original quote. By the time our searches came back our quote had increased 230% and nothing untoward had been identified! When we queried this we were met with rudeness and no real explanation as to why all the additional costs were adding up

We went through Home Legal Direct and was assigned to Convey Law. Lauren Forbes was brilliant, she went the extra mile and we were waiting on everyone else and she kept chasing them. Even when I had issues with Home Legal Direct Lauren helped me to get in touch. Brilliant service from both Lauren and her assistant Helen. I found the online process a little overwhelming but she was on hand every step of the way. It didn't take 48 hours for her to respond at all unless she was on leave then Helen replied. Would 100% recommend!

We found the company to be very efficient, replying to our emails straight away and always having the answers to hand, giving great explanations as to the different processes we had to go through.

If I’m honest the service was abysmal. The responses to enquiries were glacial in their pace, so much so I had to do a lot of the work myself. There was less than adequate communication, no one ever picked up the phone and I was left chasing constantly. I lost the first sale of my house due to a lack of urgency and tenacity on the part of the conveyancer that Joshua farmed it out too. I ended up finding the section 106 that was needed to progress the sale, which incidentally was online all along, just on page 2 but there clearly was no interest in actually doing their job. The real kicker is that I was charged for the privilege after “chasing and a large amount of work was done”. There were hidden costs added to my invoice at the end for work I did for you and the response from Joshua was aggressive and dismissive. I was held to ransom to accept these costs otherwise the exchange wouldn’t have been actioned the day before completion. I had to send documents back which I did in good time via tracked delivery to be told I there was something else that was missed in the original email. I had to send it again via tracked delivery and when I highlighted this Kiran was again aggressive in her response not accepting any responsibility. I am disgusted by the service and wouldn’t recommend their services even if they were the last solicitors available. I will be taking this up with the management as I am unsatisfied with additional charges and the “service” provided
