FAKE
I ordered one and the tracking said it shipped from China! Not Palestine. It never arrived and pretty sure it is fake both in material and that they don't donate. Avoid the scam.
Made in China, no ties to Palestine
They claim to sell Palestine-made product but shipping is from China. So mad I didn't see this before buying! I also paid extra as a donation to Palestinian aid. No idea where that money went. Shut this company down!
Absolute SCAM
Absolute SCAM! I purchased 2 keffiyehs and the quality was so bad. You can tell it is from China and not from Palestine. The shipping is from China.
It was made of cheap polyester and the patterns were printed on it. I also made some donation with the purchase to help the victims, but I bet the donation is also a SCAM. Please avoid this! Report if you can. By the way, they are using fake reviews. So don't be fooled.
Report them to Shopify!
I encourage everyone to send a report to Shopify (the host of their sales website) and we can collectively get their site taken down - google "report contact shopify support" for the page to report on. I also suggest filing a credit card dispute to get your money back and remove some of their profit. If you see any of their social media ads, mass report it.
They also steal photos from the Hirbawi website for their own website (compare the factory photos on the two sites). Hirbawi does NOT list them as an authorized seller, nor do these scammers claim to even sell Hirbawi kufiyahs - yet, it's well known that Hirbawi is the only kufiyah factory that still exists in PaIestine... so do the math! I suspect their social media ad videos are also stolen, to draw people to their sales website (hosted via Shopify). Their Facebook page also has many deleted comments (compare the # of comments to what's actually there and see what they don't bother to delete - their dedication to the cause is very questionable). FB history page also shows that they've changed their page name twice now - used to be Tu Salud (March 21, 2023) and then Vosemos (May 12, 2023). Was renamed Crafting Peace on Nov 29, 2023.. just in time to capitali$e on a horrible gen0c!de. Their Instagram name has been changed 11 times and it says they're based in Spain (which they might change now if they see this, lol).
I'm currently blocked by them on Instagram for questioning them, and they also regularly delete any negative comments under their social media posts (similar to the reviews here about the kufiyahs being of poor quality and made in China, etc.). Someone mentioned they are based in Spain, but have product shipped from China. I actually suspect they take your money and then place an order for you on a cheap site like AliExpress with a Chinese business that doesn't even know this is going on...
Shame on you for profiting from a genocide
I wish I could give 0 stars. This product is cheap polyester, printed, not embroidered. It came from China, not Palestine. SHAME on this company for profiting from a genocide!!! They probably don't even donate any money to the cause as their website states.
Palestinian made and shipped from China?
After waiting for more than a month, the item arrived today from China; packaged no differently than cheap items I have purchase from AliExpress. I usually am clever enough to check via the web for a scam when there's a flashy new website, but I was eager to support the people of Palestine, so my logical brain was not present. The fabric is simply printed polyester, created in massive cheap rolls via a Chinese factory, with cotton trim sewed along the edge to make it look somewhat real. It's ironic how China, as a society, does little to help their own under privileged people, yet this company is going to send 80 percent of the proceeds to the poor people of Palestine? Yeah. There is not even an attached tag stating anything about the product, so it must be authentically hand crafted and weaved, right? Also, the return policy indicates that the material has to never be worn, which means not taken out of the plastic bag, and the customer has to ship the product back to China, also allow up to 40 business days from the date we confirm your refund to process? This simply means, there is no "return" policy, and you are stuck with it. Being scammed is one thing but selling a highly inferior product and lying to customers that 80% of the purchase price will go to the people of Palestine is beyond theft. I recommend that you don't buy this product, for this is something you will find at Dollarama for $2 very soon. It amazes me how easily people and companies can profit over false claims and get away with it.
Fake
Fake, fraudulent product.
The material is polyester and printed.
Fake Product; false claims of quality and origin
The keffiyeh sold by this company are marketed as “made in Palestine” from “high quality cotton” are fake. They are made in China from synthetic fabric. Photos representing the items have been stolen from other websites. Claims about donations to Palestinian charities are highly suspect.
I wish I’d seen these reviews before I…
I wish I’d seen these reviews before I fell for this scam. Absolutely disgraceful! These are not authentic kufiyehs but cheap polyester prints. This is a company that is profiting off the lies they’re feeding us.
Either a total scam or shoddy business
Having ordered a Keffiyeh in late December '23, and receiving no reply to our email of 291223 asking if the size we ordered is the correct size for a man, THEN today adding my order number in the Track Order Status web page when the website displayed 'Could Not Find Order' PLUS all the one star reviews on this profile MEANS I will be contacting my bank today to get a full refund on our order.
I placed order and tried to cancel it…
I placed order and tried to cancel it before it shipped. Company refused to cancel order and deleted all of my comments off of their social media accounts and blocked me.
Fake Product; fraudulent claims of quality, place of manufacturing and charitable donations
Fake polyester printed products with absolutely no connection to Palestine. The scarves are made in and shipped from China, made from a cheap polyester/synthetic, and the patterns are printed rather than woven as on the real Kufiyeh from Hirbawi. What’s worse is they cost more than the real thing. They claim to donate to charity without much further detail but it’s safe to assume none goes to Palestine or any charity.
Total scam
Total scam. I live in Canada and just received it. It’s not fabric as advertised and received a cheap polyester print from China !!! AVOID!!
Total scam
I bought 2 of these as Christmas presents. They arrived from China and are not even remotely authentic. It’s just a print of the authentic pattern and I doubt they donate anything to the causes as advertised. Total scam
I got scammed!
I got scammed!! The product is false advertisement. It's from China! They sent polyester not cotton. Everything about the website is fake. I've already filed a dispute with my CC. I will go through anything to shut these people down! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
Scam Scam Scam Scam
Scam Scam Scam Scam
I’ve been scammed but I won’t give up until I get my money back.
When I tried to email them they sent me virus.
Scam- non woven, made in China, screen print “kuffiyeh”
I wish I had seen this before impatiently ordering this cheap junk from China. I should have waited for Hirbawi to restock. I fell for Crafting Peace’s very deceptive advertising - that show real kuffiyehs- woven as they should be. But like other reviewers- theirs isn’t woven - it’s printed on cheap fabric. One side is white and the design is printed?! Never would I have fathomed I would get a printed scarf- I’ve seen thin ones- but they’re still woven. And they charge as much as Hirbawi
They blatantly lie in messages claiming that they’re made in Palestine. Their website advertisements border on deceptive advertising. (False claims, pics and videos that either use real kuffiyehs or don’t show the white / non printed side). “Quality material” is not polyester.
I wish some regulator could honestly stop this business at this point. And like others say- they try to make you ship to CHINA to get a refund (and pay for said shipping to China). This is a scam business and do not order from them.
Product made in China. Everything is a lie.
Product made in China, and everything they claim on their marketing and website and Instagram are lies. Avoid. Disgusting that they’re trying to profit off of a genocide. I will be getting my bank to do a chargeback, and everyone else should as well.
Sadly I have just been scammed
Sadly I have just been scammed
The item was shipped from china and not made in Palestine. Even then tracking said it was delivered through letterbox when it was NOT. i contacted customer service who then stated that I wait a little longer for my parcel! Wait for a parcel that’s already been “delivered”? What a disgrace you’re trying to scam people and profit of people at a time like this. They also deleted my comments on social media and blocked me. They also said that in order for me to get my refund, I need to return the item? what item I have not received anything!
Scam website - avoid!
I sadly bought a keffiyeh from them before doing my due diligence. Nothing about this company is legit. The website was opened in November '23, has numerous copy-cat websites, and when I tried to cancel my order they emailed me a copied response that literally thanked me for choosing [Your Store Name]. The item (shipped from China) was made of a smelly polyester and only printed on one side, hardly a cotton keffiyeh made by Palestinian artisans. I just emailed to request a refund, and they seem to want me to ship it back to China at my own cost. Fully expecting to have to file a dispute with my credit card at this rate.
