Crown Glazing Reviews 

Had a replacement front door and three panes of glass in August 2023. When the fitters had gone noticed that the door didn’t fit properly, rang the company and the same fitters came back the day after and had to take the whole door frame out and start again. When they left noticed scratches on the door frame and the door handle had been damaged. Took a lot of phone calls for someone to come out and check the damage and took a while for the work to be done. Pity it didn’t take them long to get paid. Would never recommend them, they tell that many lies it just comes natural

We got the cold call and agreed for someone to call round same day, it sounded good and decided to go for it and paid a deposit of over a thousand pounds. Then on reflection I read the reviews and definitely got worried. I had 7 days to cancel as per their terms and conditions and did so. I spent nearly 2 months ringing and emailing for my money back each time I was fobbed off. Fortunately I kept notes of each time I rung, who I spoke to and the conversation. In the end I had to get my bank involved to get it resolved.

Right....Very nice man Khurram Ijaz,????..Came to my home showed up the products ,looked great ,choose the door n windows ,was told by Khurram that the style of glass we choose was suitable for the Door and side glass panel...after the guy came to measure up ,who himself wasn't very professional,...we had a call from a female tellin us that the style we choose couldn't be fitted in the side panel,only th door..
Obviously that wasn't what we wanted as the alternative they offered PLAIN GLASS or FROSTED in panel and PATTERNED in the door this wasn't goin to look right,or what we ordered and wanted ...tho It was chosen from the brochure, and agreed by Khurram...due to this, tho they agreed verbally that IT WAS THERE FAULT THAT THEY COULD NOT PROVIDE WHAT WE WAS SHOWN & ORDERD ..we could cancel and receive the £500 of our hard earned money back as this was the deposit,this was 14th Nov 2023.
After several calls to the only number we have,ive learnt that their promises are worthless. and as yet not a penny recieved now in the hands of TRADING STANDARDS ....

from the initial consultation , through the survey and finally the fitting , all members of the team were polite , knowledgeable , knew what they were doing. the fitters came when they were supposed , extremely polite and hard working , explained everything i asked them to with knowledge and confidence. Top rate job all round

Absolutely rubbish untidy installation left bricks out of my wall scratched frames and took the money and ran, I complained and I’ve had nothing back from them

Great service from start to finish. Surveyor turned up when they said they would and the install team turned up exactly when they said they would, excellent job carried out, alpt of cate taken and house left in a better state than when they turned up, everyone we dealt with was polite and curtious l. Highly recommended!

Very expensive service. I can't tell any difference between old and new glass. Worst installers I've ever had in my home. Slapdash and untidy. I complained but after she said she would speak to workmen I never heard from her.
All in all a greedy, unprofessional lot with a salesman who over promises and definitely under delivers. Would never recommend.

I placed an order October 2023,but a week later I changed my mind, I phoned them to let them know I no longer required the service and to kindly return my deposit. I have phoned on seven separate occasion each time told a blatant lie by the woman on the end of the call. I wish I had read the reviews before I even invited them to my home. Very unprofessional money hungry scum bags. I will be pursuing the matter with trading standards and any other platform to raise awareness of this dodgy firm. they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this type of behaviour

I would like to thank the whole team at Crown Glazing for a job well done. Firstly Mr. Ahmed their energy efficiency consultant who was very knowledgeable and helpful, the surveyor who was quick and efficient and finally the fitting team who did an excellent job and left everything neat and tidy. I will certainly recommend Crown Glazing to friends and family.

Having cancelled my order on the same day and paid a deposit of 360 pounds 6 phone to the company and over a month later still waiting for my deposit very unprofessional..9th Dec 2023

Not happy at all. Paid this company £200 deposit but due to circumstances I had to cancel within 7 days. I have emailed them 3 times and still not heard from them regarding the return of the deposit. Shocking customer service

I had work carried out by this company ie replacement of Bay Window Glass due to heat loss after there survey was carried out. I paid for the work the same day the work was completed via telephone conversation I also requested a receipt which was sent by mail and consisted of a hand held ATM receipt and a yellow post it note, during this procedure I requested a written guarantee as was promised also a letterhead describing exactly the process of work carried out.
I sent an email after a couple of weeks asking where was my guarantee and the letter etc, I was informed it would take approximately 3 weeks, this has now passed and still nothing received, I have sent 2 emails with no reply, this is totally unprofessional from a company that prides itself in its customer service.
At this moment in time I have nothing to say any work has been carried out on my windows.
My advice if they carry out work for you do not pay them until you get your guarantee and letterhead confirming the work carried out.

They employ vulnerable teenagers and young girls so they can pay them less than minimum wage and treat them like dirt. I’ve seen it first hand how the manager turned up to his ex employees house because they tried quitting. They are so unprofessional and corrupt. They let their staff smoke cannabis on the job and bring it into the building. Absolutely awful company

lovely windows and a great service right up to the point they got my money. As long as you aren't wanting your certificate from CERTAS you're ok. Six months later and i'm still being given the run round. promised call back never materialise, promises that the paperwork has now been submitted turns out to be lies. Certas have confirmed that they've never submitted the paperwork

Had an appointment with Awais & after looking at the windows he was really good at letting me know what needed replacing or just repairing. He was very understanding of my situation & with what I could afford. The price was reasonable & I could decide when I wanted them fitted. I paid a deposit of £276. He rang a colleague to arrange for a window technician to come round. With me working full time it was arranged for him to come before I left for work. I waited until I had to go & rang Crown Glazing explaining no one has rang or texted me & I have to go to work. They said he was stuck in traffic. I live in Lancashire & he was coming from Yorkshire which can be a good distance. You would have thought he would have got in touch if he knew he was going to be late. The lady I spoke to said she can arrange another appointment on a Saturday that would be better for me. So I waited in & it got to 12.30pm & they hadn't arrived. I rang the office but no one answered so I rang Mark who had texted me to check on the first appointment with Awais. He didn't answer either so I left him a message saying no one has been in touch or turned up again. He didn't reply. I then had a call from someone on 12th October & said he was coming round tomorrow to check the windows. I hadn't spoken to anyone about this & after being let down twice I wanted my deposit back. He also told me that Crown Glazing don't work at the weekend so I was told a lie when the lady said she'll book an appointment on a Saturday. I happened to have someone ring me last week but it was a call to see if I was interested in new windows. I explained that I'd already had someone round but the customer service afterwards was very disappointing & I told her I wanted my money back. She said she'll pass the details onto her manager & they'll ring me back. I'm still waiting. There are people out there who are not in a great financial position & it's awful that a company can treat vulnerable people like this.

They are cold callers who exploit their young teenage staff and don’t pay minimum wage. It’s just as miserable to work for them as it is to be on the receiving end of their tactics

Initially a good service that has since deteriorated. They forgot one part of the order. To which they made 2 separate appointments to complete. They have not returned. Even after my calls and their assurances. I waited in and missed my own appointments as a result. They could at least have been honest and I would have been able to do what I needed to do.

My experience with Crown Glazing from the initial discussion through to fitting has been extremely positive. I have upgraded the glass in my front bay window.
The sales discussion and process was simple. The customer service was great. The fitting was smooth, with the fitters doing an excellent job and they left everything neat and tidy.
I’ll be going back to them to get the rest of my glass updated shortly

Crown Glazing is an excellent company whose staff give the best customer experience. They are so friendly, helpful and efficient. The fitters did the job so quickly and left no mess at all.
