Protected myself from danger made me kicked out
I was bounced from Cupid after quite easily validating the guy was a robot, was AI. Cupid better start learning how AI and bots are harming women instead of kicking us off when the bot asks. What a f"d service. Don't even bother, ladies. These people are low level dangers .
Cupid will only make you feel lonelier.
You get lots of interest from 'women' until you pay for the subscription. After that you are trickle-fed 'likes' and when you message you get zero response. If you are messaged you are messaged first and these messages are generic and repeated verbatim by different 'profiles.' The fact that the messages exactly mirror others that youve received proves that these profiles are fake and created by the company purely to keep you interested and guarantee further subscription. You never get to speak to anyone real and therefore meet nobody. A total scam. This type of dishonesty would be illegal in any other retail environment and it seems the entire industry of dating agencies utilises this scamming. Meeting people is the opposite of what they want from their clientele. Just dont bother. Use something that is free. Facebook dating might not be everybody's cup of tea but at least the people on there are physical human beings as opposed to stock photographs.
Scam site
I have tried many times to stop my billing, but the site don't accepts it.
The site keeps asking to fill in the form and does nothing.
The messages i have sended about this are never answered and i cannot delete my account if the billing is not stoppen.
Lots of profiles are fake and the messages i have sended are never answered
I joined the site yesterday and getting…
I joined the site yesterday and getting off it today' its a chaotic circus' I wrote 3 messages to 3 different girls and no reply' I think it's badly run and organised lots of adverts flying all over and hard to navigate' also my Norton ant virus keeps telling me don't go there it's fraudulent I think it's very poor and not real people on there' so it's good bye from me I'm not contributing to make them rich..Scammers steer clear.
Cupid.com and Cupiddates.com Fraud Sites
Both Cupid.com and Cupiddates.comboth sites by the same company from Cyprus are Fraud/Phising style sites who take your credit card details and make it impossible to cancel the subscription that you do not ask for and are not told of, and than they charge ofr 2 sites despite you have not agreed to the subscription.
Best thing is to contact your credit card company and the Internet Fraud department Politie.NL tel 343578844 in the Netherlands.
Clearly a scam
Clearly a scam - signed up, and was immediately messaged with a number of generic ‘let’s chat’ messages. I amended my profile to request that anyone use my name, so I know it’s not a bot, and this statement was rejected by the moderators. All highly suspicious…
This is a scam and illegal website
This is a scam and illegal website. The owner is rude. They scam people with fake girls, they take their credit card details and clear their bank accounts. I can not say much being law enforcement but it is all being looked into.
They are scammers
If you just signed up for a trial. they will charge you around 53$ without any notifications. They will register you for multiple other accounts without informing and share your bank details. Those sites will also charge you and they will never refund. Bunch of scammers.
I authorised a payment of £3.87
I authorised a payment of £3.87. Quickly realised that the site is terrible. Had a few messages from fake accounts. A couple from guys from another continent. A message from a guy over twenty years older than me. A really dire experience. So I went to delete my account as, whilst I had only authorised one small payment, I was extremely concerned about the integrity of this site. Despite being told I could cancel anytime online, (I checked this before making the payment), it is actually impossible to cancel your account online. It sends you into a loop which doesn’t cancel anything. I wasted ages on this. Increasingly concerned by the terrible experience I was having, I contacted customer services and told them I wanted to cancel my subscription with immediate effect. Two days later, having had a hideous day for various reasons, my bank texts me at midnight to inform me of two dodgy looking payments amounting to about £45. Lo and behold it’s cupid.com.
I have asked tor a refund. I doubt I’ll get it.
I’d be interested to see what response they give below. Probably more lies about what I supposedly signed up to. That seems to be their standard response to victims of their scam. Let’s be clear though; this is absolute BS. It is reprehensible to condone this behaviour. It really isn’t in any way okay. It is highly unethical, tantamount to theft. And on top of the theft, to add insult to injury, it’s genuinely the worst dating site I have encountered, The free ones are way better.
I’m really upset and angry and it’s left me feeling really depressed. It’s a horrible way to gain money. Exploitative, deeply unethical practice. Such a shame there are companies like this that make the world that bit shittier. Ugh.
EDIT: spoke to my bank this morning and whilst I was sleeping more payments were attempted to be made by these scammers running into hundreds of pounds. All thankfully blocked by Barclays.
Trying to get the refund and it’s look…
Trying to get the refund and it’s look like it is so hard and impossible to contact to cupitt.com!!!!
have to ask Paypall to contact to them and still have no idea what’s going on with that canceled order, 200$ just gone in the air ….. look like they like to take money really quick but if something wrong ,then all
Representatives are disappear.
hopefully they will start to act more professional !!!
SCAM ALERT
Decided to delete my account after i had subscribed to a package . which i succeeded to do only after making calls . like why do i even have to make calls just to remove my account? 🤷🏽♀
But then , they sent my credit card details to another dating site which i have no idea of and they keep withdrawing money from my credit card.
Stay away please
BEWARE. A BIG SCAM
1. Most of the “women” on this site:
a. Women and men working in teams 24/7
b. Very possibly AI giving replies
2. The job of these “people” is to keep you sending messages as you pay a lot for each one
3. As soon as you open a profile, an operator will see it and open your profile. You can see this as even when the operator is off-line, it will immediately come on-line
4. How to recognise that it’s not the person on the profile.
a. Coming on-line as mentioned above.
b. They send you pictures of themselves but without their face. Often you can see different skin tones and sometimes the legs don’t match their age or profilé body
c. They do not answer multiple questions
d. If you ask them to use WhatsApp, they will either refuse or tell you, “later”
e. If you don’t reply quickly they will ask you where you have gone or tell you that they miss you.
Stay away!!
Stay away!!! It’s a scam. No honest company would oblige their customers to those terms of purchase!!! Cupid doesn’t live up or try to exceed customer satisfaction. :/
Never give them your credit card number because they will milk it to the last dollar !!!!

Very disappointing site
If you're hoping for a real relationship, don't bother with this site. It's absolutely full of scammers and men searching for 'friends with benefits.' The site is very unprofessionally run and constantly mixing up their pronouns in the notifications you get, for eg they will mistakenly refer to the same person sometimes as he and sometimes as she. Extremely disappointing.

So they take their time to place this poor excuse for an answer below while my profile still excists. As I told them; I tried several times to delete my profile, and with the procedure to do so myself as described on their website, they keep you going around in circles.
Their answer of today (as put beneath this review):
“ Antwoord van Cupid

So nope, still not editing this review until my profile is deleted. 🤷🏻♀️

I thought I’d give them more time to delete my profile, but it’s still there!
As I log in, three messages appear in the inbox in a matter of seconds.
In poor Dutch: “is it absolutely normal that I like to meet up with strangers? What do you think?”
Bit weird to start off a conversation. I really hope they’ll delete my profile this year. I want all connections to this website gone!

Another week has passed and my profile is still active. Also, still haven’t received an email to confirm the cancellation for the automatic payment either.
15-12-‘22
Still no confirmation of my profile being deleted or future payments being cancelled. Mind you; I’ve requested them to send me this via email.
I’m getting more and more impatient.

fake scam !
I think this whole site is full of fake profiles.
Their partner sites are the same.
The only time you get messages or likes is when your not a paying member, as soon as you pay for services nobody reacts or responds anymore,...
Everyday new profiles but not 1 respons for months ?
All the messages sent to me are just from google translate, most of them make no sense.
If you respond to likes or messages you never get an answer.
Don't waste even a few euro's on this crap, better go to a prostitute or so than to spend money on internet criminals.

Disgraceful company
Disgraceful company. Avoid at all costs. Took £43.43 from my account unauthorised. Not refunding. Dreadful site with mainly fake profiles. Never known a company to take unauthorised payments and not refund. Will be taking this further if not addressed. Update… after pursuing this further they agreed a refund but have only refunded £13.03, no mention of a part refund so not acceptable. I’m still pursuing full refund.
**** update. They have refunded my the unauthorised payment. However they have passed my credit card details unauthorised to another dating site who I have never heard of called love chemistry who have now taken a further £40.35 from me********

Please avoid this company at all costs.
Please avoid this company at all costs.
I phoned up to cancel my membership (they don't make it easy for you, you have to phone to cancel) and after much arguing with the employee at Cupid, I was finally able to cancel. I was promised that no further payments would be taken from my account.
Not only has an additional £51 been taken from my account, I have now found out that I have been signed up for an additional membership to another site! I knew absolutely nothing about this and certainly didn't consent to this. This is out and out fraud and I have now reported Cupid to my bank and the police.
This company is totally immoral in the way that they operate and shouldn't be allowed to trade. Please take note of this and avoid at all costs!
