Very pleasant in store experience. Spent €1400 on a new Lenovo laptop and insurance. Arrived home to find this device doesn’t come with a charger. 1) this is ridiculous, selling me a new devi... See more

Ordered a washing machine. Delivered on time. Installers said that it was all set up and they'd run water through and drained. I didn't see them do that. They left. I read the manual which said that there should be transport bolts removed from the machine. No transport bolts. I rang Currys Customer Service (HA!). He said he was trying to contact the driver. Could he ring me back? He hasn't.
I can't run the machine in case the bolts are still in place.
I have an invalid in the house. Spending €26 a day (sometimes more) on sending out washing. And Currys have my money.
I rang Currys again. Aaron's explanation: the bolt broke in the machine so the driver took them away. Just go ahead and use the machine.
If I switch on the machine & it makes a noise/the drum is damaged by the remains of the bolts - that's my problem. I can contact Currys Customer Service for more non-help.
If the washing machine actually works and I then move (as I am hoping to) - I have to leave it here.
Currys have replied asking if I still require assistance. Of course I do. They delivered the machine and left it without any transit bolts. The bolts have not magically appeared in my house. My review said that I needed the bolts. I still need them.

I felt so much anxiety and disappointment when I opened my R6 Mark II and saw that the seal was already broken. It's heartbreaking to spend that much money at a big retailer only to feel like I was given a returned or used unit

Ordered the Keychron K2 HE Special Edition Black (order #CIR2630565329, receipt no. 429932). Receipt explicitly states "Special Edition." What arrived was the standard version — a completely different product with different keycaps and no rosewood side panels — with model code K2H-J1-UK on the box.
To make it worse, the standard model I received isn't even listed for sale on currys.ie. There is only one version of this keyboard on their Irish site, and it's the Special Edition I ordered.
Contacted customer service and waiting for resolution. Will update this review accordingly.
Update 10/04/26 10:36
Since posting this review, two things have happened. Currys customer service has been in touch requesting verification details, which I have provided. However, I have also noticed that the product listing for product code 750321 on currys.ie has been quietly amended, the "Special Edition" designation and associated images have been removed, while the product code and price remain identical. This change occurred after my complaint was raised. I have screenshots of the original listing. The case remains unresolved and I will continue to update.
Update 12/04/26:
After multiple emails and phone calls, Currys is now using their own amended internal record to claim I never purchased the Special Edition — directly contradicting the receipt they issued me on 07 April which explicitly states "Special Edition." Frontline agents have no visibility of the original listing and are reading a system that was updated after my complaint was raised.
A collection was booked by one agent, while a separate agent simultaneously told me I ordered the wrong item and offered only a refund. Two agents, two different resolutions, neither aware of the other.
I have rejected both the refund and the same incorrect item. I have sent a formal complaint to Currys Ireland leadership with full evidence including the receipt, the box showing model code K2H-J1-UK, and before/after screenshots of the amended listing. A report has also been filed with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. If unresolved by Tuesday 14 April, a Mastercard chargeback will be initiated on grounds of goods not as described.
I want the product stated on my receipt. Nothing more, nothing less.
Update 17/04/2026
I've been trying for more than a week thru many different channels and now they barely answer me, got an email asking me about all the same (again and again and again) on Tuesday but still no answer
Very tiring to repeat myself many times, its been more than a week since I pointed the mistake and no solution has been put in place

I bought a laptop from them that didn't function properly, slowing down after a couple hours. I brought it back within the 30 return window and was told they couldn't accept the return of the laptop had been turned on. What??? Then they told me they didn't have the equipment to test the laptop in the store, so their 'hands were tied' and they wouldn't honor the refund. Btw they advertise refunds 'even if you simply change your mind'. Insanely bad and predatory company.

I booked a repair for an Xbox Series X console. However the console started working again, so I no longer needed the repair. I rang up to cancel and was assured I would get a refund of the £99 which had already left my bank.
I have chased this payment two times since and been told it is in hand and I would receive follow up emails from the finance/refund department.
Nothing at all since.
Avoid like the plague, their refund policy is godawful and you can see this from searching online - which I wish I did beforehand

Really bad customer service! When they do eventually reply, they ask you to repeat all of your details again and again. Do not buy from curry’s - if anything goes wrong with the product, it’s so much hassle! This is the second faulty product I’ve gotten off curry’s and customer service is non existent.

Ordered a vacuum cleaner which arrived soon after. The plug was broken so I returned it but they processed a refund instead of a replacement which I had expressly asked for in an email which they acknowledged. When I asked to make a complaint I would always get a different person replying to the email trying offer me a discount code. Got on the phone to someone saying I want to make a complaint and he said he’s logged that I want to make a complaint and they’d reach back to me (definitely won’t). Never buying from Curry’s again.

I visited Curry’s in Blanchardstown today. Upon browsing to find the most ideal laptop, I was attended to by 12 Mohsin. I just want to extend my gratitude for your top tier service. I went from just buying a laptop and ended up with a back pack, a mouse and a 3 year insurance settled…so much to be said for such a skill!! Thanking you kindly for your service.

After looking on Amazon for a WiFi extender I decided I would buy locally in Currys Navan. I purchased a TP link extender which stated 433mbps. I set it up at home and it was only performing at 25mbps even right beside my router which has a wi-fi speed of 500mbps.I returned to Currys Navan and spoke to the manager Ger (who I found very rude and abrupt) she said that they would not offer a refund eventhough it was not fit for purpose and was performing at less than 10% of its stated performance.I contacted the CCPC (competition and consumer protection commission)who informed me that if the product is not fit for purpose as advised on the box I'm entitled to a refund, replacement or repair. I returned to Currys and read them the response I received from the CCPC and again spoke to Ger ( who accused me of biting the head of her ) even though all I was reading her was the response from the CCPC. She called her senior manager Anant and I said I was giving them a chance to resolve the issue and he also refused the refund, replacement or repair. Neither Ger nor Anant offered to test the product in the store to see what rate it was performing which I found surprising.I have spent a lot in Currys over the years but will purchase from Amazon going forward. I have a ticket logged with the CCPC and just need to update it following Currys response.
I feel very disappointed with the response from managers in Navan and have always recommend the store as I have worked in IT for many years and have often been asked for advise by friends and family where to buy IT related products and I would always recommend Curry's Navan before buying online if the prices were closely matched. But I wont be doing that again.

Spent over 1600 euros with curry’s - items supposed to be delivered today. They have not turned up - impossible to speak to a human at curry’s (I spent over an hour calling to try get an update on delivery). They have taken my money alright but not delivered the products. Appalling customer service.
Update 2/4/26 - have emailed the email address below and no response within 48 hours. I assume Tracy is an AI generated email as notice that the same word for word response is posted to all negative reviews. Terrible experience - I would never use them again.

Absolutely shocking experience with Currys Ireland, avoid at all costs.
I purchased a monitor that turned out to be faulty, and what followed has been over a month of delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability.
First, I was told a courier would collect the item, but they didn’t show up. I took time off work just to facilitate a collection that never happened. Eventually, after chasing multiple times, the item was finally collected.
From there, things only got worse.
I received confirmation from the courier that the item had been delivered, but Currys claimed it hadn’t reached their warehouse.
After a few days with no updates, I had to chase them again myself. I still didn’t receive proper confirmation, but instead got an email saying the replacement had been shipped.
Then came the most frustrating part, I waited nearly two weeks for the replacement and had to start chasing them again for updates. Eventually, support told me that I could contact the courier myself to track it. That is completely unacceptable. Currys arranged the delivery to store, so it should have been handled entirely between them and DPD, it is THEIR responsibility to manage their delivery partners, not mine.
After more than a month, I was still left without a monitor, without clear answers, and without any real support or effort on their part. I kept being told it would be delivered “the next day”, which simply never happened. At that stage, I requested a refund because I had completely lost confidence in the company. This entire experience shows a serious lack of organisation, ownership, and customer care. Once they have your money, it feels like they simply stop caring. I will not be buying from Currys again. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Since posting my review about the faulty built in oven, the problem has not been resolved. Curry’s tech support is the worst I have ever dealt with. I spent hours on the phone been passed around with nobody willing to help.
Another two weeks have passed and Curry’s have still not resolved my problem. Their replies to reviews seem automated and they absolutely will not respond to any direct emails as they seem only interested in responding to reviews to create the illusion that they care about customers problems. I spent 600 euro on an oven that has not worked in the six weeks since I bought it

I bought a tumble dryer from Currys yesterday, and it's been a complete disaster. The machine is so loud it could wake the dead, and even after watching the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, my clothes were still only half dry.
I specifically drove from Wexford to Waterford to buy it, trusting Currys as I always have. When I contacted them about the issue, I was told they would only replace it in-store. That means I now have to make another two-hour round trip (plus fuel costs) because they sold me a faulty product.
Thankfully this happened while I'm in the middle of building a new house — at least now I know exactly which retailer to avoid when buying all my appliances.

Stood there for 20 mins and asked for staff help 2 times but nobody came. Manager was too busy celebrating birthday taking whole staff from shop. Very disappointed behaviour. Wouldn’t even rate 1 star

The worst customer service ever. We went to buy an earphone. And we had a doubt about how to purchase the earphones. We asked an Indian girl, and she told us that " I am attending another customer " in a rude way. This is not the way to treat a customer.
